JBS Posts Q3 Profit

JBS SA JBSAY posted a profit in the third quarter. JBS posted a quarterly profit of 367 million Brazilian reais ($178 million), versus a year-ago net loss of BRL67.5 million. Its net revenue rose to BRL19.4 billion from BRL15.6 billion, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization surged 75% to BRL1.4 billion. JBS shares dropped 2.13% to close at $6.43 yesterday.
