Walmex Sales Up 8.9% In November

Wal-Mart de Mexico SAB WMMVY reported an 8.9% y/y rise in its sales in November. Walmex's sales for the month surged to 37.76 billion pesos ($2.95 billion). Walmex's total Mexican sales climbed 9.8% to MXN33.37 billion. On a comparable-store basis, sales surged 5.5%. For the first 11 months of the year, Walmex's total sales climbed 11.1% y/y to MXN363.48 billion. Walmex shares closed at $33.34 yesterday.
