Asustek Q4 Profit Rises 21%

Asustek Computer ASUUY reported a 21% rise in its fourth-quarter net profit. Asustek's quarterly net profit surged to 5.89 billion New Taiwan dollars ($198 million), from NT$4.88 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of NT$5.72 billion. Its revenue increased 14% to NT$116.60 billion from NT$102.65 billion.
