TCLAF reported a 5% gain in its Q1 adjusted profit.
Transcontinental's quarterly net profit came in at C$17.8 million ($17.4 million), or 23 Canadian cents a share, versus a year-ago net loss of C$33.3 million, or 41 Canadian cents a share. On an adjusted basis, its net income climbed to C$28.5 million, or 37 Canadian cents a share, compared to C$27.1 million, or 33 Canadian cents a share.
