Generali Posts Lower 2012 Profit

Assicurazioni Generali SpA ARZGY reported a drop in its net profit for the year. Generali's net profit for the year dipped to 90 million euros ($116.6 million), from EUR856 million, in the prior year. Its board proposed a dividend of EUR0.20 per share for 2012. Its total premiums rose 3.2% to EUR70 billion.
