Ashton Kutcher has added another credit to his resume, this time on his technological side. USA Today reported on Wednesday that the actor will join LenovoLNVGF as a product engineer.
According the the report, Kutcher will offer advice on design and software for Yoga tablets. The tablet was recently unveiled in an event featuring the CBSCBS star. Among the features that try and make the tablet stand out are a small kickstand (with a microSD slot underneath), front-facing stereo speakers and a rear camera on the back of the cylinder.
Kutcher has been associated with many technological companies over the last decade. He starred in a series of commercials for Nikon cameras. He tried to help the Google+GOOG effort in 2011, hoping his social media presence on TwitterTWTR would transition to the other web hangout.
The recent star as AppleAAPL founder Steve Jobs was the first person on Twitter to reach one million followers (he currently has over 15 million).
Kutcher has portrayed many slackers and pretty boys on the big screen, but that does not fully reflect the real person. He attended the University of Iowa, where he studied biochemical engineering. As the New York Times said last year, he knows his way around the tech start-up world.
