AB Foods Posts Higher Full-Year Profit

Associated British Foods PLC ASBFY reported a gain in its full-year profit. AB Foods' pre-tax profit for the year surged to 876 million pounds ($1.40 billion), from GBP761 million, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed 9% to GBP13.3 billion. AB Foods declared a total dividend of 32.0 pence. AB Foods shares closed at $36.27 yesterday.
