Chow Tai Fook Posts Upbeat Profit

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group CJEWF reported a 92.3% surge in its net profit for the six months ended September. Chow Tai Fook's net profit for the period rose to HK$3.51 billion ($452.63 million), from HK$1.82 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a profit of HK$3.14 billion. Its revenue climbed 48.5% to HK$37.77 billion, while overall same-store sales surged 33.2%.
