Shares of BRT Realty Trust Common Stock BRT are up 21.8% to $6.27, a gain of $1.12. Earlier, the company announced a tender offer for 2.5 million shares of the company at a price of $6.30. Shares of Satyam Computer Services SAY are gaining 12.8% to $6.24, a gain of 71 cents. Volume has been particularly strong today, trading over 5 million shares, when the average volume is around 750,000 shares. Shares of CarMax Inc KMX are up 7.7%, a gain of $1.86 to $25.98, as the company reported much better than expected earnings before the bell this morning. CarMax operates as a retailer of used vehicles in the United States. National Fuel Gas Company NFG is up 6.9% today, good for a gain of $3.23, after the company announced successful operations at its Marcellus Shale joint venture. The company has traded almost 2 million shares, far more than the average daily volume. Shares of Harvest Natural Resources Inc HNR are up 50 cents to $7.75, a gain of 6.9% today. Volume is slightly higher, having traded almost 280,000 shares. Harvest Natural Resources, Inc., is an independent oil and gas company.
