Austrian company Vienna Insurance Group VNRFY reported a 57% gain in its 2014 net profit. The company also projected a drop in its 2015 profit.
Vienna Insurance's net profit for the year climbed to 366.8 million euros ($388.1 million), compared to EUR234.3 million, in the year-ago period.
Gross written premiums slipped 0.8% to EUR9.15 billion in the year.
The company's management proposed a dividend of EUR1.40 per share for 2014.
