Restoration Hardware To Join S&P MidCap 400 Index

S&P Dow Jones Indices announced after Monday's market close that Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc RH will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 index after Wednesday's market close.

Restoration Hardware will replace Atmel Corporation ATML in the index, as Atmel's will be fully acquired by Microchip Technology Inc. MCHP prior to Wednesday's scheduled index change.

Shares of Restoration Hardware were trading higher by nearly 3 percent early Tuesday morning.
