Building Toward A Robust Healthcare System

It should come as no surprise that technology and healthcare go hand in hand. How else have life-saving antibiotics been developed, machines that are able to see inside the human body and other medical wonders? However, healthcare in modern times isn't just about life-saving treatment but also life-saving services.

Manasvi Arya has always championed better healthcare services, believing that having access to timely, professional, and efficient service is just as important as receiving the right medicine.

The healthcare technology expert has spent years honing his craft and learning about how the industry ticks while creating initiatives that would elevate Parab Consulting Group Inc, a consulting firm that specializes in biztech.

"Automating is going to be the trend for the next five to ten years, and the faster we can get there, the more people we can save," Manasvi shares, "Think about the amount of money you can save if all the healthcare data that you have on one person can be quickly quantified by a machine, with all the possible diagnosis results, all within five minutes? Right now, the medical industry is bogged down by the huge amount of data that they have to go through, an equally overwhelming amount of tests at their disposal—which one to test for first, how many tests until we get a confirmed diagnosis, how many unnecessary procedures and tests that will lead to higher costs and a longer recovery period?"

The truth about the medical sector is that doctors can't always have all the information they need due to the amount of background information they have to go through. Perhaps one symptom is caused by a drug that the patient takes for their chronic condition and not a symptom that is caused by something currently undiagnosed. There are just so many variables, and machine learning algorithms might be able to cut down diagnostic time by many days—or even weeks. In fact, the dream is to get a diagnosis within a day, but that might be reaching the current technological capacity. However, if machine learning for diagnosis is implemented today, in five to ten years, it might be a very possible reality to receive a confirmed diagnosis the same day that a person is admitted into the hospital.

After all, Manasvi did not start off thinking of creating a diagnostic tool but rather simplifying patients’ lives, streamlining the medical process, cutting down on wait time between bills and claims, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and quickly. Over time, he integrated more technological advances into his work and discovered more facets that can benefit from AI and analytics. In this way, Manasvi Arya is attempting to create a better world for patients all over the globe.
