Mark Cuban isn't afraid to call out Elon Musk, and he's made that explicit time and time again. While many hesitate to challenge the billionaire and now influential political figure, Cuban says he couldn't care less.

Cuban on Why He Calls Out Musk

"Not a lot of people are going to stand up to him and I'm like, f****k it, I don't care," Cuban said in an interview with Theo Von. He admits he enjoys messing with Musk, especially because Musk is so active on Twitter. "His skin is so, so thin. How can you not f**k with him?"

Don't Miss:

Cuban and Musk have had their fair share of back-and-forths, with Cuban recalling a time when Musk texted him simply, "F**k you," after Cuban made a critical remark about Tesla. But despite their clashes, Cuban acknowledges Musk's success. "You got to give him tons of credit, right? SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla, dude's like the entrepreneur of our generation." Still, Cuban thinks Musk's sensitivity makes him an easy target for jabs.

Musk's Political Shift and ‘Puppet Master' Status

Cuban has been especially vocal about Musk's growing political influence, particularly his close relationship with President Donald Trump. This shift, Cuban argues, could hurt Tesla's TSLA  core audience, which consists largely of environmentally conscious consumers. "Anyone consider that maybe Elon's mission is for Elon to get what he wants, instead of the country getting what you voted for?" Cuban tweeted recently, questioning Musk's true motivations.

In a separate interview, Cuban took it a step further, saying Musk's influence over Trump is "far more valuable than any amount of EV sales from Tesla." He continued, "If you're the wealthiest person in the world and you have effective control, you're the puppet master of the president, the most powerful person in the world. That's about as intoxicating as it gets."

‘Not So Brilliant'

The Department of Government Efficiency that Musk is leading has also come under fire from Cuban. When reports surfaced that DOGE itself had burned through nearly $7 million in taxpayer money in just two weeks, Cuban was quick to call it out.

"Not so brilliant," he wrote in response to the revelations. A government report showed that DOGE received $750,000 on Jan. 27 and another $6 million on Jan. 30, raising concerns about how Musk's team was using the funds.

Despite Musk's growing power and influence, Cuban refuses to stay quiet. From their personal jabs to broader concerns about government overreach, Cuban is not backing down.
