Spire SR engages in the purchase, retail distribution, and sale of natural gas to residential, commercial, industrial, and other end-users of natural gas in the U.S.

The company has increased its dividends consecutively for the last 22 years. In its most recent dividend hike announcement on Nov. 14, Spire raised the quarterly payout from $0.755 to $0.785 per share, equal to an annual figure of $3.14 per share. Currently, the dividend yield on the stock is 4.12%.

Spire’s annual revenue as of Dec. 31 was $2.51 billion. According to the company's Q1 2025 earnings release on Feb. 5, it posted revenues of $669.10 million and EPS of $1.34. Both figures came in below the consensus estimates.

TriCo Bancshares

TriCo Bancshares TCBK operates as a bank holding company for Tri Counties Bank that provides commercial banking services to individual and corporate customers.

TriCo Bancshares has increased its dividends every year for the past 12 years. According to the company’s most recent dividend hike announcement on Feb. 22, 2024, its board raised the quarterly payout from $0.30 to $0.33 per share, equating to $1.32 annually. More recently, in its dividend announcement on Feb. 20, the company maintained the payout at the same level. The current yield on the dividend is 3.22%.

The company’s annual revenue as of Dec. 31 stood at $388.76 million. In its most recent earnings release on Jan. 23, the company posted Q4 2024 revenues of $100.36 million and EPS of $0.88. Both figures beat the Street estimates. 

Pfizer, Spire, and TriCo Bancshares are good choices for investors seeking reliable passive income. Their dividend yields of around 3-6% and long history of consistent hikes make them attractive to income-focused investors.
