MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 19, 2009) - A new restaurant with the exotic taste of the Caribbean officially opened its doors in the Old-Montreal in the month of September 2009. In an elegant atmosphere worthy of this historic district, the guests will be able to savor traditional Haitian cuisine. This culinary establishment can already compare itself to some of the best of Saint-Paul Street. Ibiscus, is situated at 343 on the east side of this street, facing the Bonsecours Market.
The establishment holds both an exotic and modern decor dotted of a gallery space, a medium sized stage capable of accommodating any jazz trio, and free parking on evenings and weekends.
Our most recent entertainment creation for the week is "Les Jeudis Joyeux". Relaxing atmospheres complete with Haitian Beer, Prestige, and specialty cocktails including our Secret d'Ibiscus.

Owner Christine Deetjen and assistant manager Koralie Deetjen-Woodward, both of Haitian decent, offer a place where all can enjoy refined cuisine and art and will treat you with a hospitality worthy of royalty.
Head Chef Gerard Dorcy, originally from Haiti, has a culinary career and has been in the field for more than 25 years.
Talented graphic designer Yannick Denis designed both the elegant signature and logo of Ibiscus Restaurant. The Interior has both a rustic and modern elegance put together by up and coming Interior designer Aboudi Hassoune.
