The Fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the value of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities of businesses that the Adviser has identified, through annual reports, press releases and other public statements by an issuer, as well as the Advisers due diligence process, as using, or as having demonstrated an intent to use, predictive or generative AI in a way that is or has the potential to deliver a material improvement in the companys financial condition, in accordance with Rule 35d-1 under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended (the 1940 Act). If the Fund changes this investment policy, it will notify shareholders in writing at least 60 days in advance of the change.     Artificial intelligence refers to the development or use by a business or consumer of computer systems that perform tasks previously requiring human intelligence such as decision-making or audio or visual identification or perception.

Royal Philips Obtains FDA Clearance For Remote Scanning And Protocol Management Capabilities

Democratic Governor <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/andy-beshear">Andy Beshear </a>announced on Thursday that Kentucky's medical marijuana program is right on schedule and ready to meet its Dec. 1 launch date.
"Beginning December 1, the authorized practitioners will be able to begin issuing valid written certifications to Kentucky patients," Beshear <a href="https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=gov+andy+beshear+live+today">said </a>in his Thursday Team Kentucky address. "So on December 1, not only can you go online and find where these practitioners are, but you can go ahead and go see them and have your written certification issued to them."
Since July, 154 health professionals have been authorized as medical cannabis practitioners. To ensure seamless access for patients, Beshear's administration has launched the Kentucky Medical Cannabis Practitioner Directory, an online tool that will also go live on December 1.
"This tool will ensure Kentuckians can find the care they need close to home," Beshear said. "But ultimately medical cannabis is about health care the purpose of this program is to help Kentuckians who are suffering."

The spotlight now shifts to dispensary licensing, with two lotteries planned to determine selectees. The first lottery, covering nine of the state's 11 medical cannabis regions, will take place the Monday before Thanksgiving in Louisville. The final two regions will have their licensees drawn on Dec. 16.
The Kentucky Office of Medical Cannabis has already issued 29 licenses for cultivators, processors and safety compliance facilities, laying the groundwork for a robust supply chain, <a href="https://westkentuckystar.com/News/State/Governor-Beshear-offers-update-on-medical-cannibis">noted</a> the West Kentucky Star.
Meanwhile, local support for the program continues to grow. During the November elections, over 100 Kentucky cities and counties <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care/24/11/41843261/kentucky-gov-beshear-the-jury-is-no-longer-out-kentuckians-want-medical-cannabis">approved ordinances</a> allowing medical marijuana businesses to operate in their jurisdictions.
"The jury is no longer out," Beshear said at the time, noting the bipartisan support among voters. "Kentuckians want their families, friends, and neighbors with serious medical conditions to have access to safe and effective treatment. We're keeping our promise to make that a reality."

Currently, U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods stand at 11%. A steep increase to 60% would represent a dramatic escalation and could significantly strain the U.S.-China trade relationship. 
While the broader economic impact is still uncertain, Feroli warns of inflationary pressures arising from such protectionist measures.
&#8220;Based on the volume of trade, the U.S. would be levying $215bn in taxes on Chinese imports and China would be levying just over $70bn in taxes on US exports,&#8221; he stated.
JPMorgan anticipates further progress toward the Fed&#8217;s 2% inflation target in 2025. 
However, policies proposed by President-elect Trump, particularly higher tariffs on China, pose a risk of modestly higher inflation. The most significant impact is expected midyear, as increased tariffs could temporarily lift prices. 
As a result, JPMorgan forecasts core PCE inflation to run at 2.3% by the end of 2025, before gradually aligning with the Fed&#8217;s 2% target in 2026.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Fiscal Deficit: A Growing Challenge</h3>
Fiscal policy is also under scrutiny, as the U.S. budget deficit is projected to expand significantly in the years ahead. 
The Trump administration and a Republican-controlled Congress are expected to extend the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), whose personal income tax provisions are set to expire at the end of 2025.
&#8220;We expect essentially all the current tax code will be extended, which we project will mean a federal fiscal deficit of around 7% of GDP in 2026, at a time when we are at full employment and not directly involved in a war. The vagaries of the business cycle and geopolitics both skew risks toward a wider deficit,&#8221; Feroli said.
