Best known for providing election polls and analysis, Nate Silver has a new prediction, or rather a suggestion that Vice President Kamala Harris should become president, despite losing the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/11/41768178/donald-trump-defeats-kamala-harris-to-win-2024-election">2024 presidential election.</a>
What Happened: Silver doesn't think that Harris should be declared the winner of the 2024 presidential election, but rather should take over for outgoing President Joe Biden for the remainder of his term ahead of Donald Trump's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/social-media/24/11/41784933/donald-trumps-wealth-soars-with-2024-election-win-heres-how-much-president-elect-is-worth-ho">return to the White House.</a>
"Is there any particular reason to assume Biden is competent to be president right now? It's a very difficult job. It's a dangerous world. Extremely high-stakes decisions in Ukraine. He should resign and let Harris serve out the last two months," Silver <a href="https://x.com/NateSilver538/status/1859267392578179197">tweeted</a>.

Historically, approximately 40% of imported cannabis in Germany has been either rejected or re-exported, with pharmacies purchasing about 60% of imports, according to analyst <a href="https://zuanicgroup.com/">Pablo Zuanic</a> of Zuanic and Associates.
In Q3 2024, as importers rushed to build inventories, rejection rates likely increased, potentially resulting in pharmacies purchasing between 50% and 55% of imports. 
This suggests that out of the 20.1 tons imported, pharmacies acquired between 10 and 11 tons, doubling the levels seen before the April reforms.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Shifts In Exporter Market Shares</h3>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/canada-cannabis">Canada</a> remains the largest supplier, exporting 8.1 tons to<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/germany-cannabis"> Germany</a> in Q3 2024. However, its market share declined to 40% from 59% in Q1.&nbsp;Several Canadian companies actively operate in Germany's cannabis market, including Aurora Cannabis Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ACB#NASDAQ">ACB</a>), Canopy Growth Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CGC#NASDAQ">CGC</a>), and Tilray Brands Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TLRY#NASDAQ">TLRY</a>), leveraging their expertise in cultivation and distribution to meet the growing demand.
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/portugal-cannabis">Portugal</a>&#8216;s share increased to 21%, with <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/denmark">Denmark</a> at 13%, and Spain and Uruguay each contributing 5%. Notably, the Netherlands&#8217; share dropped to 2% from 8% in 2023.

The annualized value of Germany&#8217;s medical cannabis market is estimated at €352 million (US$375 million). According to Zuanic, "With less than 0.3% of the population currently using medical cannabis, the market remains underdeveloped but has immense growth potential."
Zuanic explains that if Germany reaches a 1% penetration rate, similar to Canada&#8217;s, "that would imply more than 4-5x upside." However, achieving this growth will require <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/biotech/24/08/40298228/think-you-can-do-it-all-20-000-reasons-why-automation-outperforms-a-broad-approach-in-cannabis">addressing key challenges</a>. "More consistent and ample supplies across price and quality spectrums, new formats being allowed, and streamlined prescription systems."
Despite these hurdles, Zuanic says he is still optimistic. "It is still early days, but the German medical cannabis market could accelerate as these issues along the supply chain improve," he added, signaling the potential for significant expansion in this nascent market.

Trump Reportedly Urges Russian President To Deescalate War With Ukraine: Here's How Crude Oil WTI Futures Are Reacting (UPDATED)

MicroStrategy, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSTR#NASDAQ">MSTR</a>) shares are climbing after-hours after the company announced it completed its previously announced offering of its 0% convertible <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/b42122992/microstrategy-completes-3-000-000-000-offering-of-0-convertible-senior-notes-due-2029">senior notes due 2029.&nbsp;</a>
The Details: MicroStrategy said the aggregate principal amount of the notes sold in the offering was $3 billion, which includes $400 million aggregate principal amount of notes issued pursuant to an option to purchase.&nbsp;

MicroStrategy intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the notes to acquire additional Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) and for general corporate purposes. MicroStrategy holds a total of 331,200 Bitcoin purchased at an average price of approximately $49,874 per coin as of Nov. 17.
What Else: MicroStrategy shares fell more than 16% in Thursday's regular session after short-seller Citron Research's Andrew Left announced he took a new <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/42118133/short-seller-andrew-left-targets-microstrategy-stock-as-hedge-against-bullish-bitcoin-bet-completely-detached-from-btc-fundamentals">short position</a> in the stock which has rallied more than 50% since President-elect Donald Trump won the election on Nov. 5.&nbsp;
"Fast forward to today: $MSTR has skyrocketed to over $5,000 (adjusted) … while Citron remains bullish on Bitcoin, we&#8217;ve hedged with a short $MSTR position," Left said. "Much respect to @saylor, but even he must know $MSTR is overheated," Citron Research wrote in a post on X.&nbsp;

The AdvisorShares Pure US Cannabis ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/MSOS#NYSE">MSOS</a>), often viewed as a benchmark for MSOs, dropped by -4.31%, closing at $4.56. This decline highlights the continued uncertainty in the cannabis space, as investors reassess the implications of a reshuffling political landscape.
Curaleaf Holdings Inc. (OTCQX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CURLF#OTCQX">CURLF</a>), one of the largest MSOs in the U.S., shed -4.10%, finishing the day at $1.99. Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (OTCQX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TCNNF#OTCQX">TCNNF</a>) was not far behind, falling -1.93% to $6.11. Meanwhile, Cresco Labs Inc. (OTCQX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CRLBF#OTCQX">CRLBF</a>) dropped -5.74%, closing at $1.15.While some MSOs struggled, Green Thumb Industries (OTCQX:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GTBIF#OTCQX">GTBIF</a>) managed to stay in positive territory closing at $9.30.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Sundial Stands Out</h3>
Sundial Growers Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SNDL#NASDAQ">SNDL</a>) defied the broader sector trends, climbing 1.79% to end the day at $1.995. Other gainers included Tilray Brands Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TLRY#NASDAQ">TLRY</a>), which rose 1.94% to $1.315, and Canopy Growth Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CGC#NASDAQ">CGC</a>), up 2.53% to $3.855.

Thursday saw significant losses among smaller players, with Cansortium Inc. The price of leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) continues to hit new all-time highs, breaking several records since the<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/11/42109267/bitcoin-hits-new-all-time-high-above-98000-as-spot-etfs-crack-100-billion-net-asset-value-milestone"> 2024 presidential election.</a>
Investors who bought earlier this year or ahead of the election have generated strong profits, but nowhere near the gains that investors got being early believers in the cryptocurrency.
What Happened: In October 2008, pseudonymous&nbsp;Satoshi Nakamoto<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/22/08/28349295/understanding-bitcoins-whitepaper" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;published a whitepaper</a>&nbsp;titled &#8220;Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.&#8221; The whitepaper provided many key details and explained why Bitcoin was created.
In January 2009, Nakamoto mined the genesis block of the first 50 Bitcoins and the cryptocurrency was officially born.
When Bitcoin was released, there were only two ways to get the cryptocurrency: mine the Bitcoin yourself or use a peer-to-peer transaction.
Bitcointalk, a forum created by Nakamoto to host discussions on Bitcoin, was used for several transactions. The transactions were deemed risky at the time because they required trust from both parties and were mostly anonymous.
In October 2009, one of the first-ever recognized Bitcoin transactions happened when a Finnish computer science student sold 5,050 Bitcoin for $5.02 (which represented a value of $0.0009 for each Bitcoin), according to&nbsp;<a href="https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-price-history/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Forbes</a>. The transaction took place on&nbsp;PayPal.
Less than a year later in May 2010, one of the most famous Bitcoin transactions of all time — and what is widely believed to be the first retail transaction — took place when programmer&nbsp;Laszlo Hanyecz&nbsp;sought out a person to buy him pizza in exchange for Bitcoin. A person in England subsequently spent around $41 to buy pizza from Papa John&#8217;s for Hanyecz in exchange for 10,000 Bitcoin. This represented a value of around $0.0041 for each Bitcoin.
It wasn&#8217;t until 2011 and after the launch of several major crypto exchanges that the cryptocurrency hit a price of $1.
In 2021, Bitcoin&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/23/12/36083106/heres-how-much-100-invested-in-bitcoin-today-will-be-worth-if-crypto-hits-new-all-time-hig" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hit an all-time high</a>&nbsp;of $68,789.63 as part of a year that saw increased interest in the leading cryptocurrency and many other cryptocurrencies.
In 2022, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies fell in value and interest with several notable cryptocurrency trading platforms declaring bankruptcy.
The<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/01/36514679/wall-street-enters-the-crypto-age-sec-issues-historic-approval-of-spot-bitcoin-etfs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;approval of Bitcoin ETFs&nbsp;</a>in 2024 has led to increased interest in Bitcoin once again and a surge in the price of the leading cryptocurrency.
Fast forward to today and Bitcoin is trading near the $100,000 milestone with a current price of $98,093.47 at the time of writing. Bitcoin hit a new all-time high of $99,014.21 earlier on Nov. 21, 2024.

My view is that expansionary monetary policy in the second half of 2024 is likely to be a major catalyst for a broad-based market rally. It&rsquo;s therefore a good time to accumulate high-quality <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/growth-stocks/">growth stocks</a>. At the same time, risk taking investors can consider exposure to undervalued <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a> that can potentially go ballistic.



While I am looking at a near term catalyst, the focus of this column is on penny stocks to buy and hold until 2027. During this period, I believe that the penny stocks discussed are likely to deliver 7-bagger returns.



Since the investment horizon is medium term, I have refrained from talking about purely speculative penny stocks. Instead, my view is on undervalued names with a good business and strong fundamentals. I would not lose sleep by holding a small portion of the portfolio in these undervalued penny stocks.



Let&rsquo;s discuss the business factors that can trigger a big rally in these ideas within the next three years.



<h2>Lithium Americas (LAC)</h2>

Once sentiments reverse for lithium, LAC stock is likely to go ballistic from deeply undervalued levels.



To put things into perspective, Lithium Americas has a current market valuation of $990 million. In comparison, the after-tax net present value of Thacker Pass asset is $5.7 billion. Purely based on asset valuation, the stock can be a six-bagger from current levels.



However, if we look beyond this, the Thacker Pass has a mine life of 40 years. Once both the phases of the lithium asset are commercialized, the <a href="https://lithiumamericas.com/files/doc_presentation/2024/05/LAC-Corporate-Presentation.pdf">annual EBITDA from the asset</a> is likely at $2 billion. Clearly, operating, and free cash flows will be robust. Further, estimates can change on the upside if lithium skyrockets due to supply-gap concerns in the coming years.



I would therefore buy and hold LAC stock. With <a href="https://lithiumamericas.com/news/news-details/2024/Lithium-Americas-Provides-a-Thacker-Pass-Construction-Plan-Update/default.aspx">commercialization</a> of the Thacker Pass asset due in 2027, multibagger returns are likely before that as the markets discount the cash flow potential.



<h2>Archer Aviation (ACHR)</h2>

Companies that are likely to commercialized eVTOL aircraft in the next 12 months will have an early-mover advantage. Considering the immense potential the industry holds, I expect multibagger returns from the best <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/consumer-discretionary/automotive/flying-cars/">flying car stocks</a>.



Archer Aviation (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/achr-stock-quote/">ACHR</a>) is an attractive name to consider at current levels of $3.7. It&rsquo;s worth noting that ACHR stock has corrected by almost 40% for year-to-date. This seems like a good opportunity to consider fresh exposure.



I like the fact that Archer already has <a href="https://investors.archer.com/files/doc_financials/2023/q4/Shareholder-Letter-Q423-FINAL.pdf">an order backlog of $3.5 billion</a>. The Company is constructing its high-volume manufacturing facility in Georgia. This facility is likely to have a capacity of building 650 aircraft annually.



With commercialization likely next year, Archer is positioned for healthy upside in revenue. It&rsquo;s also worth noting that the Company has stitched partnerships in UAE and India for expansion in 2025 and 2026 respectively.



As Archer gradually completes the required certifications in the United States, I expect the Company to make inroads into new geographies. The initial years of commercialization are therefore likely to be exciting and ACHR stock can potentially deliver multi-fold returns.



<h2>Bitfarms (BITF)</h2>

The Bitcoin (<a href="https://investorplace.com/cryptocurrency/btc-usd/">BTC-USD</a>) miner has corrected sharply by almost 40% for year-to-date. There are two reasons for the correction even as Bitcoin trends higher.



First, Bitfarms raised $375 million from an at-the-market equity offering program. The markets have therefore discounted the dilution factor. Further, with Bitcoin halving, mining is going to be relatively challenging. That&rsquo;s another factor being discounted in the stock.



Having said that, BITF stock looks undervalued considering the outlook for Bitcoin and the expansion plans. Chart expert, Peter Brandt <a href="https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2024/02/27/chart-expert-peter-brandt-raises-bitcoins-2025-target-to-200k-on-channel-breakout/">expects Bitcoin to peak</a> at $200,000 in the current bull market. If this holds true, BITF stock is likely to go through the roof.



Specific to Bitfarms, fundamentals are strong with a zero-debt balance sheet and a robust liquidity buffer. The Company plans to <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_f3d6248e0d9d3f43b4152c6f73b4d887/bitfarms/db/862/8448/pdf/Investor+PPT+5.2.24+%281%29.pdf">increase hash rate capacity</a> from 6.5EH/s at the end of 2023 to 21EH/s by the end of the year. This is likely to translate into healthy revenue and cash flow upside. Further, as Bitcoin trends higher, the value of digital assets in the balance sheet will continue to swell.



<h2>Cronos Group (CRON)</h2>

Recently, Germany legalized the recreational use of cannabis. It&rsquo;s also likely that the U.S. will reclassify cannabis as a less dangerous drug (Schedule III).



Reports also indicate that even without federal level legalization, the U.S. cannabis market is <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/en/news-release/2023/03/22/2632475/0/en/U-S-Cannabis-Sales-Could-Total-71B-in-2030-Without-Federal-Legalization.html">expected to be worth</a> $71 billion by 2030. Therefore, with a big addressable medicinal and recreational cannabis market in U.S. and Europe, there is ample headroom for growth.



Cronos (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/cron-stock-quote/">CRON</a>) is among the best <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/healthcare/cannabis/">cannabis stocks</a> to buy to benefit from positive industry tailwinds. It&rsquo;s worth noting that Cronos has gone slow on expansion plans. Before 2023, the Company had presence in Canada and Israel.



However, Cronos has <a href="https://ir.thecronosgroup.com/news-releases/news-release-details/cronos-group-reports-2023-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-results1">entered the medicinal cannabis market</a> of Germany and Australia last year. Recently, the Company also <a href="https://ir.thecronosgroup.com/news-releases/news-release-details/cronos-enters-united-kingdom-cannabis-market">announced entry</a> in the United Kingdom. This might be the beginning of an aggressive expansion drive with Cronos sitting on a cash buffer of $862 million. Therefore, with the possibility of accelerated growth, I expect CRON stock to trend higher from undervalued levels.



<h2>Ring Energy (REI)</h2>

Ring Energy (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/rei-stock-quote/">REI</a>) stock looks significantly undervalued after remaining sideways for the last 12 months. Current levels of $1.8 look attractive for accumulation.



The first point to note is that Ring Energy reported proved reserves of 129mmboe as of 2023. The <a href="https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_5f2f72e4982e5a2726fe7562b45ed0c9/ringenergy/db/880/7746/presentation/REI+Q1+2024+Supplemental+Information+Deck+FINAL++5-7-24.pdf">proved reserves have a PV10</a> (present value of estimated future oil and gas revenues, net of forecasted direct expenses) of $1.65 billion. In comparison, Ring Energy has a market valuation of $350 million. This puts into perspective the extent of undervaluation.



It&rsquo;s also worth noting that for Q1 2024, the Company reported adjusted free cash flow of $15.6 million. Ring Energy has reported positive AFCF for 18 consecutive quarters. With upside in production coupled with potentially higher realized price, I expect FCF to swell further. This will boost the Company&rsquo;s financial flexibility for investing in proved undeveloped reserves.



<h2>Solid Power (SLDP)</h2>

The Company is working towards the commercialization of solid-state batteries and business developments have been encouraging. After a deep correction, SLDP stock has trended higher by 20% for year-to-date. I expect this positive momentum to sustain.



Last year, Solid Power delivered A-1 sample cells to clients for validation testing. The Company is <a href="https://www.solidpowerbattery.com/investor-relations/investor-news/news-details/2024/Solid-Power-First-Quarter-2024-Results-Reflect-Continued-Progress-Towards-2024-Goals/default.aspx">targeting to deliver</a> A-2 sample cells this year. This cell will address the challenges in the previous design. Further, the Company has also expanded electrolyte sampling with shipments to multiple potential customers.



I must add here that Solid Power has the backing of strong automotive partners that includes Ford (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/f-stock-quote/">F</a>) and BMW (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/bmwyy-stock-quote/">BMWYY</a>). Earlier this year, the Company deepened its partnership with SK On. The target is to embed Solid Power into the Korean battery ecosystem.



Therefore, with continued progress on the R&amp;D front, strong partners, and ample financial flexibility, SLDP stock is a steal at current levels.



<h2>Aker Carbon Capture (AKCCF)</h2>



<a href="https://investorplace.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/penny-stocks-1.jpg"><img width="300" height="169" src="https://investorplace.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/penny-stocks-1-300x169.jpg" alt="Stacks of pennies, penny stocks."></a>With global focus on decarbonisation, Aker Carbon Capture (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/akccf-stock-quote/">AKCCF</a>) is an interesting penny stock to buy. The Company is a provider of products, solutions, and technology in the field of carbon capture. With a big addressable market in U.S. and Europe, I expect Aker Carbon to deliver stellar growth in the coming years.



An important point to note is that the Company&rsquo;s proprietary carbon capture technology already has 60,000 operating hours. The technology is therefore proven and Aker has already delivered seven carbon capture units. Further, Aker Carbon has a <a href="https://akercarboncapture.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/ACC-Q1-2024.pdf">strong order backlog</a> of 2.3 billion Norwegian krone as of Q1 2024.

This financing will be used for development, construction and ownership of up to six green hydrogen production facilities. The loan commitment from the DOE adds significant credibility to the company&rsquo;s growth story.



Notably, Plug Power has been expanding internationally. Recently, the company signed a <a href="https://www.ir.plugpower.com/press-releases/news-details/2024/Plug-Signs-3-GW-BEDP-Contract-with-Allied-Green-Ammonia-for-Electrolyzer-Project-in-Australia/default.aspx">basic engineering and design package</a> with Allied Green Ammonia in Australia. The package is for a three-gigawatt (GW) electrolyzer plant for supplying hydrogen.



<h2>NANO Nuclear Energy (NNE)</h2>

Presently, the company is <a href="https://ir.nanonuclearenergy.com/static-files/94e0692f-e097-47d8-935a-edbbcb23792d">developing a portable micro-reactor technology</a> along with nuclear fuel fabrication and transportation services. Also, the company is involved in the nuclear energy consulting services.



Therefore, the business is likely to be well-diversified in the next few years. Although impressive performances from stocks like Nvidia (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/nvda-stock-quote/">NVDA</a>) led the S&amp;P 500 to the highest monthly close ever, breadth has been weak. Indeed, looking under the hood, many stocks are making three-month lows.



Idiosyncratic factors have hit several industries. Software, for instance, has been a minefield as investors grapple with underwhelming guidance and the unknown disruption from AI. Meanwhile, <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/energy/">energy stocks</a> have declined due to <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/30/us-crude-oil-falls-3point2percent-in-may-on-pace-for-worst-month-of-the-year.html">falling oil prices,</a> whereas consumer staples have declined as consumers begin pushing back on higher prices.



These three oversold stocks to buy have suffered as their industries face the abovementioned challenges. However, this is an opportunity, given their long-term track record and bargain valuations at current levels.



<h2>Paycom Software (PAYC)</h2>

Unfortunately, Paycom (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/payc-stock-quote/">PAYC</a>), a human capital management platform, was also caught up in the selloff. The decline added to the losses the stock had experienced due to product rollout problems.



However, the downturn in PAYC stock is overdone, and the stock is a bargain. Notably, the stock is over 70% below its October 2021 highs and is among the top oversold stocks to buy. The indiscriminate selling of software has created an opportunity for a highly profitable SAAS stock.



Notably, the company has achieved over 30% annual revenue growth over nearly the past decade, excluding 2020. But in 2023, <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4027787-paycom-software-stock-sinks-40-after-q3-earnings-show-beti-cannibalization">operational missteps in a product rollout</a> led to 23% growth. Still, that&rsquo;s top-tier growth. Furthermore, the company has maintained operating margins above 20% and very high returns on invested capital.



As of this writing, the stock is trading at one of its lowest valuations. Although growth has slowed, management <a href="https://investors.paycom.com/news/news-details/2024/Paycom-Software-Inc.-Reports-First-Quarter-2024-Results/default.aspx">expects</a> a respectable 10% to 11% revenue growth this year. They have also guided for $720 to $730 million in EBITDA, meaning the stock is trading at a forward EV/EBITDA of 11. Without a doubt, Paycom is just too cheap to ignore.



<h2>Hormel Foods (HRL)</h2>

As a result, stocks like Hormel Foods (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/hrl-stock-quote/">HRL</a>) have suffered, and it&rsquo;s one of the most oversold stocks to buy. No one should count out the maker of the <a href="https://www.hormelfoods.com/newsroom/press-releases/iconic-spam-brand-more-popular-than-ever-around-the-world/">iconic SPAM brand.</a> It has a long track record of execution.



Amid the uncertain consumer environment, management is working on strategic growth priorities. Already, these initiatives are bearing fruit. The food service segment had an impressive first half of the fiscal year 2024, with growing volume, net sales and segment profits. In <a href="https://s25.q4cdn.com/701713307/files/doc_earnings/2024/q2/earnings-result/hormel-earnings-release-q2-2024.pdf">Q2 2024,</a> volumes grew by 3% and net sales by 6%.



Furthermore, the company is investing in its brands to boost growth. A good example is increased advertising spending on the Planters Snack Nuts business, which it acquired from Kraft (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/khc-stock-quote/">KHC</a>) in 2021. Due to these brand-building and innovation efforts, the brand saw momentum in volume and sales growth.



Taking it together, management will return this <a href="https://www.suredividend.com/dividend-kings-hrl/">Dividend King</a> to growth. For now, it&rsquo;s cheap. Management expects adjusted diluted net EPS of $1.55 to $1.65, which means that HRL stock trades at 20 times forward earnings. As a bonus, you earn a 3.65% dividend that stands out due to the <a href="https://www.marketbeat.com/stocks/NYSE/HRL/dividend/">59 years</a> of dividend growth.



<h2>Schlumberger (SLB)</h2>

These carbon capture and sequestration and lower-carbon technologies will be a source of future growth.



At a trailing EV/EBITDA multiple of 10x and a forward P/E ratio of 13, SLB stock is too cheap.
