Apple Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) may be riding high with a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/AAPL/news">$253.48 stock price</a>, but the iPhone 16 cycle is showing signs of stumbling, according to JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee.
The latest Wave7 Research survey paints a mixed picture, with iPhone market share trailing behind the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 cycles during the critical October to November period. Despite a seasonally better month, the iPhone 16 cycle's market share clocks in at 66%, down from 69% in 2023 and 70% in 2022.
The likely culprit? There is a lack of buzz around Apple Intelligence, the tech giant's much-touted new feature. Carrier store reps say consumer awareness is still alarmingly low—67% of reps surveyed reported "low" awareness, while just 10% called it "high." So much for artificial intelligence leading a real upgrade cycle.

The Samsung S24 Ultra outshone Apple's iPhone 16 Pro/Max in photography chops, with its superior range and resolution earning 50% of the votes. Apple trailed with 30%, barely edging out Google's Pixel 9 Pro/XL at 18%.

At baseline, unipolar patients in the study failed more than 13 antidepressant treatments (on average) – this included, for the majority, one or more interventional therapies (e.g., transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroconvulsive therapy, or esketamine). While the RECOVER study did not meet the primary endpoint due to a strong and unforeseen response in the sham group, the active treatment arm demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement from the treatment arm's baseline. Further, the RECOVER study demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful benefits in select secondary endpoints for this cohort. Based upon these findings and the positive effects for those who received VNS Therapy, the Company conducted additional in-depth data analyses and plans to submit three additional critical manuscripts to report on the outcomes.

<li>Neutral Scenario: The expected baseline involves the Fed cutting rates by 25 basis points and projecting three cuts in 2025. Markets have largely priced in this outcome. Altrichter anticipates a "small relief rally" with tech stocks slightly outperforming cyclicals. The 10-year yield could drift modestly higher, and the Dollar Index might rise above 107.</li>
<li>Hawkish Scenario: If the Fed signals fewer than three cuts or holds rates steady, markets could experience a sharp sell-off. "Solid drop," warned Altrichter, pointing to a likely spike in the 10-year Treasury yield beyond 4.50% and a surge in the Dollar Index toward 108.
