A study from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts reveals that money issues are a contributing factor behind at least 22% of divorces. Other sources say that anywhere between 20% and 40% of divorces stem from financial problems.&nbsp;

On financial intimacy, Orman points out that the family also plays a role, expressing that it's important to know what your expectations will be if you have a large family. "Are you expected to buy gifts and do all these things for all the family members on holidays and things like that? Regardless of your money, you have to know everything about them financially, intimately speaking."
Beyond financial intimacy, the second critical tip from Orman for financial success in marriage is to stay out of debt. "If all of a sudden you find that one of you is carrying a balance on your credit cards and only paying the minimum payment due, they have started going down the path of financial debt, credit card debt, which really can be the ruination of a relationship."&nbsp;
 Orman also states that couples shouldn't make large purchases without consulting their partner.
KT, Orman's co-host on the podcast, adds, "Financial intimacy is more difficult than personal intimacy. We both learned that from years and years of listening to what husbands, wives, partners, and spouses don&#8217;t know about each other."&nbsp;

After Tesla CEO Elon Musk <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/24/07/39787013/will-elon-musks-endorsement-of-trump-impact-tesla-this-veteran-analyst-thinks-so-he">endorsed him following a failed assassination attempt</a> at a rally in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump spoke about Musk during a campaign speech in Michigan on Saturday, expressing his admiration for the billionaire tech entrepreneur.
Loves Elon: &#8220;I love Elon Musk,&#8221; said Trump at the rally, a video clip of the speech shared by a Tesla influencer <a href="https://x.com/SawyerMerritt/status/1814790937236718026">showed.</a> 
The former president also clarified his electric-vehicle stance, saying that he is fully for them. 
&#8220;But whatever the market says and if it's 10% of the market 12%, 7%, 20%, whatever it is, it's okay. You can't have 100% electric cars,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Every time, I call him he's talking about &#8216;I got a new idea for a rocket you have to hear this.'&#8221; 
Musk also runs SpaceX, a company founded in 2002 that focuses on spacecraft manufacturing, space launches, and satellite communications. The company&#8217;s main goals are to reduce the cost of space travel and to facilitate the colonization of Mars.
Trump described SpaceX&#8217;s technology as being far more advanced than what the government could achieve.
&#8220;I'm watching television like three years ago and I see a rocket engine &#8230; come down landing straight up — no wings, no nothing — and it's landing,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s landing on a barge in the middle of the ocean and then another one comes down and another one, another one, I guess four of them came down, three or four, and they land upright.&#8221;
&#8220;I'd never seen that before. Now that with government, you wouldn't see that for another 50 to 100 years, but it was Elon,&#8221; Trump said.
The Republican presidential candidate said he called Musk to ask what he had just seen.
&#8220;I said that's the coolest thing I've ever seen and you say how long would it take government to come up with that one. I don't think they ever heard of it and perhaps they still haven't heard of it,&#8221; Trump told the crowd. 
Voicing his support for Musk, Trump added, &#8220;We have to make life good for our smart people you know. We have some smart people. We have to make life good for our smart people, and he's as smart as you get.&#8221;

The former president appeared to reverse his previous stance on EVs, praising them and stating that he finds them impressive. The ex-White House aide said the president was being disingenuous by stating that 14 million people voted for him to be the nominee and that he was listening to them.
&#8220;They talk about democracy and the preservation of our democracy, why not open the party primary system? Why not give Robert Kennedy Jr. a chance to compete?&#8221; he asked.

Freedom Capital Markets Chief Global Strategist Jay Woods, however, isn't too concerned.
"I've thought about this one a lot as a Google shareholder," <a href="https://x.com/jaywoods3">Woods </a>told Benzinga.
The market strategist said a break-up of Google could be epic and reminds him of the Baby Bell breakups that happened previously in the communications sector.
Still, Woods doesn't see Vance being influential in breaking up the company. He noted that vice-presidential picks make headlines for a week and then fade from attention.
"Trump is going to be the one riding this train."
Woods said Trump has been in favor of deals that President Joe Biden has pushed back on.

Vance has praised Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan, a Biden appointee. In contrast, Republicans have criticized Khan for blocking tech deals.
"I look at Lina Khan as one of the few people in the Biden administration that I actually think is doing a pretty good job," Vance said.
One of the reasons Vance opposes big tech is the perceived control these companies have over online speech. He alleged that Google shows search results &#8220;biased towards Democrats,&#8221; calling this a &#8220;threat to democracy.&#8221;
