Lavery upgraded Campbell Soup Company (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CPB#NASDAQ">CPB</a>) to Overweight from Neutral, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/CPB/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">raising the price forecast from $47 to $56.</a>
The analyst upgraded Campbell Soup due to improved long-term growth prospects from its Rao&#8217;s brand and better sales trends in the U.S. (excluding SOVO brands).
Despite better trends, the stock has had a 15% pullback since mid-September. The analyst sees this as a good buying opportunity.
Lower steel costs (down 25%) and secured contracts for 2025 further support growth.
The analyst raised 2025 and 2026 earnings per share (EPS) estimates slightly, from $3.20 to $3.21 and $3.37 to $3.38, respectively.
Per the analyst, the stock is considered well-positioned among large-cap food stocks.

Campbell Soup has agreed to sell its Noosa yogurt business for an undisclosed amount, with the deal expected to close in first quarter of 2025. The company acquired Noosa as part of its SOVO purchase in March 2024.
The analyst assumes the sale will be finalized on January 1, 2025, with proceeds of around $250 million.
Per the analyst, the divestiture is expected to reduce sales by approximately $177 million annually and will slightly lower F25 earnings per share (EPS) by $0.01.
However, this impact is expected to be more than offset by higher revenue growth expectations.
The analyst raised the 2025 EPS estimates from $3.20 to $3.21 and the 2026 EPS expectations from $3.37 to $3.38.
Price Action: CPB shares are trading higher by 1.16% to $44.79 at last check Thursday.

Campbell Soup Rao's Brand Growth Strong And US Sales Trend Improving, Analyst Upgrades Stock

Goldman Sachs analyst Mark Delaney maintained a neutral rating on Rivian Automotive Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RIVN#NASDAQ">RIVN</a>) and raised the price target from&nbsp;$10&nbsp;to&nbsp;$12.
Following the market close on November 12, 2024, Rivian Automotive and Volkswagen AG (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VWAGY#OTC">VWAGY</a>) confirmed <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/41934150/rivian-shares-rise-13-in-pre-market-after-volkswagen-increases-planned-investment-to-58b" rel="noreferrer noopener">the official launch</a> of their 50-50 joint venture (JV), set to begin on November 13.
The JV will focus on advancing electrical and electronic (E/E) architecture technology, explicitly targeting electronic control units (ECUs), network infrastructure, and associated software.

Both companies will continue to develop vehicles independently, excluding areas like battery technology, powertrains, and autonomous driving systems from the collaboration.
The JV plans to leverage Rivian's existing software and E/E architecture stack. Rivian's R2 model, slated for production in the first half of 2026, will be the first vehicle to utilize this platform, with Volkswagen expected to implement it in their vehicles by 2027. An initial demonstration model, a retrofitted VW vehicle showcasing Rivian's technology, has already been developed as part of this collaboration.
The JV agreement outlines an increased total investment of up to $5.8 billion by 2027, revised upward from the initial $5 billion. Rivian's Chief Software Officer, Wassym Bensaid, and Volkswagen's Chief Technology Engineer, Carsten Helbing, will lead the initiative.
Although both companies will contribute staff, Rivian will initially provide most personnel.
Rivian received $1 billion through a convertible note at the JV's inception. With the JV now operational, Volkswagen has committed an additional $1.3 billion to Rivian for background IP licenses and a 50% equity stake.
The remaining investment, up to $3.5 billion, will be contingent on achieving specific milestones: $1 billion linked to financial performance, $1.5 billion tied to technical and operational benchmarks, and $1 billion structured as loans with time-based disbursements.
Under the agreement, through 2028, Rivian will cover 25% of shared platform costs, while Volkswagen will handle 75%. Starting in 2029, the partners will split expenses evenly, with Volkswagen providing an extra $100 million annually to reduce Rivian's financial burden.
Rivian expects the capital from Volkswagen and its existing liquidity to be sufficient to support operations through the production ramp of the R2 model in Normal, Illinois, and future midsize platforms in Georgia.
Analyst Delaney views the joint venture as a positive development for Rivian, significantly improving its balance sheet and liquidity without additional stock dilution.
Delaney stated that the deal highlights the strategic value of Rivian's technology platform, particularly in software and services, as emphasized in the recent "Platforms &amp; Power" report.
Despite these positives, the analyst maintains a Neutral rating on Rivian shares, citing a challenging competitive landscape, uncertainties around EV demand, and policy risks in the U.S. market.
Following the announcement, Delaney updated his financial estimates for Rivian, accounting for reduced operating expenses and an adjusted share count balanced against expected equity method losses from the JV.
The revised EPS forecasts, including stock-based compensation (SBC), are—$4.49 for 2024,—$3.10 for 2025, and—$3.00 for 2026, reflecting slight improvements from prior estimates. Excluding SBC, the EPS projections stand at—$3.77 for 2024,—$2.35 for 2025, and—$2.20 for 2026.
The analyst also raised Rivian's 12-month price target, citing improved free cash flow and a stronger balance sheet. The valuation now applies a 2.5x multiple on projected Q5-Q8 revenue, up from the previous 2x multiple.
Wedbush analysts, led by Dan Ives, view Volkswagen's increased $5.8 billion investment in Rivian as a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/24/11/41938838/rivians-deal-with-volkswagen-will-help-ev-giant-navigate-the-ship-in-stormy-waters-says-top-analyst-maintains-outperform-rating-with-20-target" rel="noreferrer noopener">pivotal boost for</a> the EV maker. They believe the joint venture marks a crucial step toward stabilizing Rivian's finances and enhancing production capabilities.
The partnership aims to strengthen Rivian's capital position, supporting its software and electrical systems integration.
Analysts expect the additional funding to back the R2 production ramp and development at the Georgia facility while the market remains focused on Rivian's execution and profitability goals for the R1 model.

Netflix subscribers will be able to watch the fight for free with coverage starting live at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 15. The start time of the Tyson and Paul fight will be dependent on how long the fights are before it.
For Netflix, the fight is part of the company's larger bets on live events and sports content to help boost subscribers of its ad-free and ad-supported plans. The Fight Stats: Friday's main event fight will feature a stark difference between the boxers with Tyson coming in at 58 years old, more than twice the age of Paul, who is 27. In fact, Tyson took part in 47 fights before Paul was even born, according to <a href="https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/39772221/what-boxing-stats-tell-us-mike-tyson-vs-jake-paul-fight-netflix-friday">ESPN</a>.
Tyson holds a 50-6 career boxing record and is one of the most well-known boxers of all time, known as "the Baddest Man on the Planet" and "Iron Mike."
Paul holds a 10-1 boxing record with his professional career beginning in 2020.
Tyson is recognized as one of the best boxers of all time and was named the No. 1 hardest hitter in heavyweight history by ESPN. Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion ever at the age of 20, and had a run of 37 consecutive victories during his professional boxing career including 33 wins by knockout.
Tyson&#8217;s last professional boxing bout came in 2005. The boxer also took part in several exhibition matches, including a 2020 match against&nbsp;Roy Jones Jr., which was declared a draw after eight rounds.
Paul's last boxing match came in July of this year with a win to add to his impressive 10-1 record. While Paul lacks the experience of Tyson, he comes into the match as the more recent professional boxer and has a 76-inch to 71-inch reach advantage over Tyson.
Unlike most traditional heavyweight boxing matches, the fight will feature 14-ounce gloves instead of 10-ounce gloves and rounds will be two minutes instead of three minutes in length. The fight is scheduled to go eight rounds, instead of a customary 10 or 12 rounds.
Friday's fight between Tyson and Paul is officially sanctioned as a real fight and not an exhibition match.
Betting Odds, Prediction Markets: Friday's fight will likely see strong betting volume thanks to a larger number of viewers potentially from around the world with the fight on Netflix and not on the more costly pay-per-view option.
Betting odds on sportsbook DraftKings Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DKNG#NASDAQ">DKNG</a>) list Paul as the favorite at odds of -200 and Tyson as the underdog at +160. This means a $100 bet on Paul would pay out a profit of $50 if he wins and a $100 bet on Tyson would pay out a profit of $160 if he wins.
DraftKings lists the fight going under 6.5 rounds at the slight favorite of -120 versus the fight going over 6.5 rounds. A prop on the fight going the distance is at +135 with the fight ending before the end of the eighth round listed at odds of -185.

Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) has soared since Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election and Benzinga readers think that the momentum could carry into 2025 for the<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/management/24/11/41856784/elon-musks-wealth-tops-300-billion-as-teslas-market-cap-soars-above-1-trillion"> electric vehicle company.</a>
What Happened: Tesla CEO Elon Musk endorsed Trump for president in the 2024 election and helped campaign for his victory. While the move may have been risky, given Trump's past criticism of electric vehicles, it appears to have paid off for Tesla's stock price and analysts' <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/24/11/41890944/tesla-the-most-undervalued-ai-name-in-the-market-in-our-view-says-dan-ives-trumps-win-a-game-changer">optimism for the future.</a>
Tesla stock closed at $251.44 on Nov. 5, the day of the 2024 presidential election. With Trump being declared the victor in the early morning hours, the stock opened at $284.67 on Nov. 6 and closed the day trading at $288.53, up 14.8%.
The stock was volatile in the after-hours trading markets and overnight trading market hours for brokers offering customers the option.
Since Election Day, the stock is up 29.2%, posting the majority of its +32.4% year-to-date gains over the last two weeks.
Benzinga recently polled readers to see if the momentum can continue and carry Tesla to new all-time highs.

Why It's Important: The biggest takeaway from the poll is that whether or not it's because of Trump and Musk being friends, 86% of readers believe Tesla stock will hit all-time highs in 2025.
The current all-time high for Tesla stock is $414.50, hit on Nov. 7, 2021. To reach the all-time high, which last occurred three years ago, Tesla stock would have to gain an additional 27.6% from today's share price of $324.96.
Trump has spoken negatively about electric vehicles many times in the past, and many believe that he will remove federal credits for American buyers of EVs.
While the ending of federal credits for consumers could hurt the overall electric vehicle sector, analysts see the move having a lower impact on Tesla due to its profitability and scale. Instead, the move could hurt Tesla's competition and improve the company's market share in the sector.
One item to watch is if Trump reverses course in his comments that he <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/politics/24/10/41298125/maybe-musk-missed-the-memo-trumps-plan-to-ban-autonomous-vehicles-could-sour-friendship">will ban autonomous vehicles</a> from the road. Trump recently made those comments around the same time that Tesla showed off its Cybercab at its We Robot event in California.
Tesla is betting big on robotaxis, and a government that isn't friendly toward the vehicles could harm Tesla's stock price and future growth.
Musk's friendship with Trump could also help his other companies, like social media platform X and space company SpaceX. While this won't be a positive for Tesla, it could help with Musk's companies overall and perhaps trickle down to brand awareness for Tesla and a more favorable environment for Musk in the United States overall.

If Tesla Stock Hits All-Time Highs In 2025, Will It Be Driven By Trump-Musk Relationship? Benzinga Readers Say This

Vermont-based ice cream manufacturer Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s, an independent subsidiary of Unilever plc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UL#NYSE">UL</a>), has a long <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/24/04/38440644/ben-jerrys-wont-stop-fighting-until-theres-cannabis-legalization-and-justice-says-activism-lead">history of corporate activism</a>. Its latest round has brought it into conflict with its own parent company.
What Happened: On Wednesday, Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s filed a contract lawsuit against Unilever in the Southern District of New York. The federal lawsuit alleges that Unilever breached Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s autonomy over social justice activism, specifically its various statements in support of a cease-fire between the Israeli government and Hamas in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/asia/24/10/41405272/sinwar-death-marks-turning-point-in-gaza-war-netanyahu-says-its-the-beginning-of-the-end">the ongoing war</a>. Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s and Unilever hold agreements to allow the brand's independent board to make social justice activism decisions.
Unilever has not yet filed a response, but a spokesperson reacted to Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s lawsuit in an email to Benzinga.
&#8220;Our heart goes out to all victims of the tragic events in the Middle East,&#8221; the spokesperson said. &#8220;We reject the claims made by B&amp;J's social mission board, and we will defend our case very strongly. We would not comment further on this legal matter."
The Burlington-based company&#8217;s complaint alleges that Unilever &#8220;silenced&#8221; efforts to speak out in support of Palestine. Following Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s statement in 2023 in support of an Israel-Palestinian cease-fire, the London, England-based parent company allegedly threatened to dissolve its independent board and sue board members.
In addition, Unilever blocked Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s donations to Jewish Voice for Peace and the Council on American-Islamic Relations, two organizations in support of Palestinians, the ice cream brand alleges. 
Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s previously sued Unilever in 2022. The ice cream manufacturer had announced a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/government/21/07/22048169/ben-jerrys-joins-bds-movement-to-boycott-west-bank-and-east-jerusalem">cessation of sales</a> in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem in protest of Israeli policy. Unilever subsequently sold Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s Israel license, something Ben &amp; Jerry&#8217;s said was done without permission.
Why It Matters: It is considered rare for a subsidiary to file a lawsuit against its own parent company.

Gaxos.AI Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GXAI#NASDAQ">GXAI</a>) shares are moving higher Thursday after the company&#8217;s board approved the purchase of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) as a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/g41968875/gaxos-board-of-directors-approves-bitcoin-as-treasury-reserve-asset">treasury reserve asset</a>.
The Details: Gaxos.AI, an AI applications company, said its board of directors approved the purchase of up to $1 million in Bitcoin.
&#8220;As demand for Bitcoin grows and so does its acceptance as a major and primary asset class, we believe that Bitcoin will serve as a strong treasury reserve asset,&#8221; said Vadim Mats, CEO of Gaxos. 
&#8220;With recent approval of Bitcoin ETFs and growing support from institutional investors, it is a great addition to our treasury strategy. Its limited supply and inflation-resistant characteristics provide a functional store of value.&#8221;&nbsp;
