A move higher without breaking today's low could push BTC above $103,220. 
However, if today's low breaks, a deeper correction could test $93,628, with a possible drop to $75,000-$82,000 if that level fails. 
For now, micro support is holding as traders watch for signs of further upside.
Meanwhile, crypto trader CJ expects Bitcoin to hit the $95,000-$96,000 range.

Clorox shares are trading lower following Q2 financial results.

Hello Traders! It's been a few weeks since our latest Elliott wave blog post.
Stocks haven't made much progress since early December, and the S&amp;P 500 is still consolidating. This was initially due to portfolio adjustments and profit-taking at the end of 2024. Now, we're seeing limited upside as the Fed has decided to stay on hold with rates, and new risks related to tariffs and trade wars have emerged. From an Elliott wave perspective, this appears like a correction within uptrend.
With uncertainty—something common during Trump's presidency—markets tend to stay in consolidation. However, such consolidations are eventually broken, and given the strong recovery in the S&amp;P 500 since October 2022, I see no reason to fight this trend. From an Elliott wave perspective, this consolidation appears to be a wave 4, meaning a new push to the upside could in weeks ahead. Even if we see more weakness the support can be seen near 5685 region. Overall, the bullish scenario for a break into a  fifth wave would be more likely if US yields remain sideways or move lower with USD over the next few weeks.

Looking at the Dollar Index, wave C of the three-wave rally from the 2023 low seems to be in its final stages. I expect a major reversal, and I would be more confident about this if the price breaks below the key swing supports at 107 and 106.50.

If the US dollar comes under pressure and Treasuries continue to rise, what should traders focus on? I believe the Japanese Yen could be an interesting option, especially with the BoJ potentially considering further rate hikes this year. The price action also looks promising for bears, with a strong turn down from the January highs, followed by current sideways movement, which appears to be a correction within a downtrend.
I expect further weakness in USDJPY, potentially targeting the 152.50 area, which aligns with the 61.8% retracement. If the pair moves higher first, watch for resistance at 156 followed by 156.70.

Elliott Wave Update: Stocks in Wave 4 Consolidation, Dollar Reversal Ahead

Vanguard created a buzz through the asset management industry <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43447999/vanguard-slashes-investing-fees-saving-investors-millions-the-larger-we-become-the-lower-it-goes">when it decided to cut fees</a>. 
For BlackRock Inc (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BLK#NYSE">BLK</a>), Vanguard's closest competitor in the ETF space, the move might not be as big a deal as it initially seemed.
What Happened: Asset manager Vanguard slashed expense ratios for 168 share classes across 87 mutual funds and ETFs. This brings its asset-weighted average fee down to as low as it can get, at 0.07%.
With $10 trillion in assets under management (AUM), Vanguard's aggressive cost-cutting is a stark contrast to the industry's 0.44% average fee, according to Bloomberg.
This is the largest fee reduction Vanguard has ever undertaken, and it reiterates its reputation as the industry's low-cost leader. The race to offer the cheapest index funds led Vanguard to scoop up a near-record $305 billion in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/etfs">ETF inflows</a> in 2024 alone.

Despite Vanguard's aggressive move, BlackRock likely isn't sweating too much. 
Why Not? Pricing pressure is nothing new, according to a recent JPMorgan research note. Both Vanguard and BlackRock regularly cut ETF fees, reinvesting their benefits of scale into lower costs for customers.
"Since 1975, Vanguard has reduced fund expense ratios more than 2,000 times," the bank noted. "Moreover, BlackRock has a long-standing frame of investing up to 1.5-2.5% of annual iShares revenues back into price. iShares saved investors $630 million+ since 2015 through fee reductions."
An interesting pattern emerged on delving deeper into where Vanguard is lowering fees. The cuts mainly apply to its smaller ETFs—those under $100 billion in AUM. On paper, the funds impacted account for around $1 trillion in assets under management. Although, these are not its flagship products.

BlackRock boasts an iShares business with roughly $4.5 trillion in AUM, out of its total $11.5 trillion. In the U.S. equity ETF market, where the two giants go neck-and-neck, BlackRock controls around $1.5 trillion in AUM. But BlackRock's ETF strategy is more diversified than Vanguard's. It caters heavily to institutional investors and offers precision products where liquidity is key. In that context, Vanguard's fee reductions largely target retail investors and buy-and-hold strategies.
Moreover, BlackRock has more than 400 U.S.-listed ETFs, compared to Vanguard's lineup of fewer than 100. While Vanguard's move might seem like a major threat, the actual impact on BlackRock is more minute. 
JPMorgan found that a direct price match across all comparable ETFs would mean a potential 3-5% hit to BlackRock's annual revenue—up to $900 million. But more realistically, only around a dozen BlackRock funds could be directly affected. This would put, at most, around $124 million of annual ETF fees at risk, which is far from catastrophic.
What&#8217;s Next: Going by past action patterns, JPMorgan doesn&#8217;t expect BlackRock to cut fees in response. Previous Vanguard reductions haven't triggered immediate reactions, and BlackRock typically operates with slightly higher fees. For instance, in emerging markets equity, BlackRock's ETFs have consistently charged about 2 basis points more than Vanguard's comparable funds.
Even in fixed-income ETFs — where Vanguard is cutting fees from 4 basis points to 3 basis points — BlackRock's comparable products charge around 15 basis points. That gap suggests the two firms are targeting different investor bases, and if that&#8217;s so, then a direct fee war is less likely, the bank noted.
At the end of the day, BlackRock is unlikely to make any knee-jerk pricing moves. Instead, it will likely continue its measured approach—reinvesting 1.5-2.5% of iShares' annual revenue into strategic fee cuts in high-growth areas. While fee compression is an ongoing trend in the industry, BlackRock's earnings are supported by various offsets, and JPMorgan believes that any revenue headwind from Vanguard's move is likely to play out over a longer time period.
So while Vanguard's fee cuts make for a big headline, BlackRock can afford to play the long game.

Shares of metals companies are trading higher after the US paused tariffs on Canada.

President Donald Trump&#8217;s newly appointed <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/01/43188280/heres-what-donald-trumps-crypto-czar-will-now-work-on">"Crypto Czar" David Sacks</a> on Tuesday announced the formation of a bipartisan, bicameral committee to establish a clear regulatory framework for the digital asset industry.
Sacks further stated one of the first priorities of the committee would be to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/25/02/43473182/could-the-trump-established-sovereign-wealth-fund-invest-in-bitcoin-nvidia-tiktok">ascertain the feasibility</a> of a Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) reserve.
What Happened: &#8220;One of the things the president instructed us to do was to evaluate the idea for a Bitcoin reserve. So it is one of the first things we are going to look at as part of the internal working group at the administration. We are still waiting for sub cabinet secretaries on the working group to get confirmed,&#8221; he said at a press conference alongside Senate and House leaders.
"We want that value creation to happen in the United States rather than giving it away to other countries," Sacks stated. 
His comments highlighted the need to reverse years of regulatory uncertainty that has driven crypto innovation offshore. He pointed to arbitrary enforcement actions, lack of clear guidance and debanking of crypto founders as factors pushing technological advancements outside U.S. borders.
Sacks argued that keeping crypto innovation domestic would not only drive economic growth but also improve consumer protection, as regulators would have more oversight over onshore activities.
The newly announced committee includes representatives from both chambers of Congress, uniting the House Financial Services, Senate Banking, House Agriculture and Senate Agriculture Committees.
The committee's goal is to deliver comprehensive legislation addressing market structure and stablecoins, while also aligning with the administration's focus on cementing U.S. leadership in digital assets.
Chairman French Hill, a key supporter of the initiative, expressed optimism about the collaborative approach. 
He said the working group will harmonize efforts on digital assets legislation and prioritize stablecoin regulation, building on bipartisan progress made in the 118th Congress. 
"We are the land of opportunity, the land of innovation," Hill said, adding that clarity and stability in regulations are essential for the U.S. to maintain its competitive edge in financial technology.

Stablecoins, which Sacks described as critical to ensuring American dollar dominance internationally, have the potential to create trillions of dollars in demand for U.S. treasuries.

'Crypto Czar' Sacks Says Potential Bitcoin Reserve To Be One Of Crypto Committee's First Priorities

Investors with a lot of money to spend have taken a bullish stance on RH (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/RH#NYSE">RH</a>).
