Paycom Software Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PAYC#NYSE">PAYC</a>) shares are rebounding slightly Friday. This comes following Wednesday's meltdown of more than 10%.

As you can see on the chart, the selloff on Wednesday ended around the $207 level. This wasn't a coincidence. There is support at this level because it was previously a resistance level.

Benzinga: SoundHound is closing the year in the headlines after being a relatively overlooked company at the beginning of the year. What was the key moment when the market started giving you credit for all the hard work?
Mohajer: What I constantly tell my team is that we have to do a thousand things right. A subset of those will eventually bring the attention that we deserve, but when that moment comes, everything we've done right up until then matters.
The key moment I'd highlight is the shift among our customers and the industry as a whole. For most businesses now, AI adoption is no longer an exploration within their innovation budgets — it's a mandate.
In that context, SoundHound is in a prime position. Our ability to combine proprietary voice AI technology with sophisticated large language models has allowed us to deliver immense value. In addition, our three-pillar business strategy gives us a unique advantage, enabling us to create a flywheel effect and shape the voice commerce ecosystem of the future.
Benzinga: You have a "three pillars of revenue" business model. After a year of revenue growth, can you summarize how these pillars synchronize and where the next growth could come from?
Mohajer: Our pillar one revenue comes from building AI voice assistants for products, like vehicles, TVs, and smart devices, and our pillar two revenue comes from creating voice AI service agents that businesses can deploy with their customers and employees. 
While these two pillars can succeed independently, we do see a big opportunity to bring them together to create a voice AI ecosystem in a way that generates new revenue streams for device manufacturers, and new leads for customer-centered businesses. This will become our third pillar.&nbsp;
To be more specific, users already speak to their car's AI Assistant, which we power, and they already order food by speaking to the AI agent of a restaurant that we also power. With pillar three, you don't need to go to the drive-through and wait in line. You can speak to your car and place your order in advance. Your car's AI agent will speak to the restaurant's AI agent to get your task done. 
At <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/topic/ces">CES</a>, SoundHound will demonstrate this concept, called the "voice commerce ecosystem," which will ultimately allow people to seamlessly conduct transactions — from ordering food to making appointments or booking tickets — via AI agents directly from cars or TVs just by speaking naturally.
We see AI agents as a huge opportunity, with networks of them communicating with each other to deliver information, process transactions, and improve the lives of both consumers and human employees.&nbsp;
Benzinga: In 2024, you fortified the company&#8217;s portfolio with the acquisitions of Amelia and Allset. What challenges have you encountered in those efforts?
Mohajer: We're extremely fortunate to find businesses that had incredible synergies with what we were already doing. Each has helped us expand our reach into new and exciting markets. Integrating new teams and company cultures, realizing cost and revenue synergies, and bringing the best out of each other is a challenge we don't take lightly. But for the most part, we are very pleased with our acquisitions.
We are now in an impressive range of vertical industries, including highly regulated spaces like health care and financial services, where our technology is deployed with seven of the top 10 global institutions.
Benzinga: Your market cap skyrocketed, but so did your market cap to net cash ratio. Meanwhile, your critics often discuss cash burn and stock-based compensation. What are your expectations for the firm&#8217;s finances in 2025?
Mohajer: We have a strong cash position and constantly calibrate a healthy balance of investing in growth and pursuing profitability. In the third quarter, we reported a revenue increase of 89% year-over-year, and we expect this year's revenue will be in the range of $82-85 million. Next year is looking like $155-$175 million in revenue, and we've also predicted that we'll be adjusted EBITDA positive by the end of next year.
Benzinga: Considering your success with Stellantis (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/STLA#NYSE">STLA</a>), the automotive industry seems like a natural home for SoundHound&#8217;s technology. With autonomous vehicles on the horizon and companies like Waymo expanding domestically, is the arrival of your technology into these segments inevitable?
Mohajer: We're proud of the progress we've made with automotive. In addition to rolling out the most sophisticated in-vehicle voice assistant on the market across a broad range of Stellantis brands, we also work with leading global automakers like Hyundai and Kia, and we're making gains in the growing EV space, with four exciting brands signed up to use our conversational AI.&nbsp;
In terms of our technology, we see endless opportunities within automotive — including deploying our technology as part of the move to autonomous vehicles. 
Benzinga: At a $7.5 billion in market cap, SoundHound is in an excellent position to continue rising in 2025. What could we expect in terms of organic growth vs. acquisitions?
Mohajer: We have been experiencing organic growth exceeding 50% for the last several years, driven by increasing commercial traction of our solutions. With the immense opportunities created by generative AI and the accelerating pace of our end markets, we expanded our approach this year to include M&amp;A. This shift has contributed to our momentum, reflected in our last quarter's growth rate of 89%.&nbsp;
We believe programmatic M&amp;A is important, particularly in rapidly transforming industries. That said, we will continue to invest organically across all pillars of our business because the breakthrough opportunities are tremendous.&nbsp;
When acquisition opportunities arise that (1) align with and amplify our strategy, (2) help us move from point A to point B faster or more efficiently, (3) can be effectively operationalized, and (4) come at an attractive price, we won't hesitate to take action.&nbsp;
Benzinga: Is there anything else you want to tell our readers?
Mohajer: We're lucky to have had some great champions, investors, partners and customers out there who have really believed in SoundHound AI and our vision. Today, our technology powers hundreds of global enterprise brands, thousands of restaurant and retail locations, and millions of vehicles and devices — and we're just getting started.

EXCLUSIVE: SoundHound AI CEO On 882% Growth — 'We're Just Getting Started'

The samples were manufactured at the company's Malaysian Fab 2 plant and demonstrated an energy density improvement of approximately 10% compared to the first-generation EX-1M batteries.

On paper, Beyond Meat Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BYND#NASDAQ">BYND</a>) seemingly represents one of the more compelling investment opportunities. In 2022, a Deloitte survey revealed that <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/penny-stocks/22/07/27981691/90-of-consumers-under-40-report-wanting-healthier-eco-friendlier-options-this-plant-based-br">90% of younger consumers</a> — despite encountering financial constraints — made at least some effort to reduce their environmental impact, including using plant-based foods. Unfortunately, this positive sentiment backdrop hasn't done many favors for BYND stock in recent years.
One major clue that the business isn't clicking is that Beyond continues to march forward with <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/41982695/whats-going-on-with-beyond-meat-stock-today">new product innovations</a> but yielding no sustained positive price action in BYND stock. For example, shares temporarily popped higher in November when the company announced its latest product called Beyond Sun Sausage. Unfortunately, the pop was short-lived, with BYND losing about 31% of value in the trailing month.
Another clue is the poor financial performance. It's true that Beyond is paring down its losses per share over the past few quarters. However, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/BYND/earnings">revenue growth has largely declined</a> on a year-over-year basis. And with that, it's hardly surprising that the vast majority of <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/BYND/insider-trades">insider transactions</a> have been sales of BYND stock.

Beyond Meat stock struggled to hold onto the critical $5 support line in November and it conspicuously failed to grip the $4 level as well. Even the $3.50 level appears questionable, tempting an options strategy called the bear call spread.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Underwriting the Risk That BYND Stock Will Stay Subdued</h2>
A distinct multi-leg transaction, the <a href="https://help.benzinga.com/en/articles/6332601-bear-call-spread-options-trade">bear call spread</a> — as implied in the name — represents a pessimistic trade. The basic idea is the trader entering the position anticipates the target security to fall in value. However, unlike a "directly" bearish wager, the bear call starts from a cash inflow position.
Structurally, the trader sells a call option for a given expiration date while simultaneously buying a call at a higher strike price. Naturally, the gross debit paid for the long call cuts into the income received from the short call credit. However, buying the long call is important in case the stock moves against the trader (i.e. in the upward direction).
Therefore, the bear call spread features a capped-risk, capped-reward opportunity. Effectively, the speculator is underwriting the risk that the target security will not rise above the breakeven threshold. Ideally, the stock in question will drop to the short call strike or slightly below to collect the maximum reward, which is called the yield.
Generally speaking, the higher the yield, the less likely it is that the bear call spread will pan out successfully for the risk underwriter. At the same time, extremely low yields may pose a significant positional risk due to the amount of capital in danger of incurring the maximum loss.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Targeting the $3.50 Level</h2>
For a quick yield opportunity, traders may consider selling the 3.50/4.00 bear call spread for the options chain expiring Jan. 3, 2025. At the time of writing, the individual process involves selling the $3.50 call at a bid of 20 cents and buying the $4 call at an ask of 12 cents. Applying the options multiplier, the maximum reward is $8 for every $42 at risk or a yield of slightly more than 19%.
While it's not the most exciting reward, the timeframe comes out to only two business weeks. Further, BYND stock needs to fall to $3.50 (or lower) to receive the maximum yield. That's a doable proposition given the security's technical and fundamental woes.
Lastly, while businesses always have a chance at a comeback, Beyond Meat has consistently disappointed its stakeholders. Since the start of the year, BYND has lost about 56% of its value. With insiders not believing in their own stock, it's a gargantuan task to convince outside investors to take the plunge.

In a separate post on X, tagging Musk, Beasley clarified that while the funds wouldn't end hunger entirely, they could prevent famine for millions on the brink of starvation. Rising to Musk's challenge, the WFP presented a comprehensive plan to use $6.6 billion to provide urgent relief to 42 million people across 43 nations.
In the document shared by Beasley, the WFP explained exactly how the money would be allocated. The largest portion –$3.5 billion – was designated for purchasing and delivering food directly to those in need. Another $2 billion was set aside for cash and food vouchers, including transaction fees, to be distributed in areas where local markets could still function.
To ensure the aid was effective, $700 million would go toward managing new food programs tailored to each country&#8217;s unique conditions, prioritizing the most vulnerable populations. To maintain transparency and efficiency, the final $400 million was earmarked for operations management, administration, accountability and supply chain coordination.

Netflix is now adding one of the largest sporting events in the world to its library of live sports content <a href="https://inside.fifa.com/about-fifa/commercial/media-releases/fifa-netflix-historic-broadcast-deal-2027-2031-womens-world-cup">announcing </a>the "landmark media rights deal" for the 2027 and 2031 FIFA Women's World Cups rights for the U.S. and Puerto Rico across all languages.
Netflix will also produce an exclusive documentary series on women's soccer for both World Cups.
"I've seen the fandom for the FIFA Women's World Cup grow tremendously — from the electric atmosphere in France in 2019 to, most recently, the incredible energy we saw across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand last year," Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria said.
The 2027 Women's World Cup, which will be held in Brazil, takes place from June 24 through July 25 with 32 teams competing for the championship. The 2031 Women's World Cup host nation has not been decided yet.

Sarandos said at the time that Netflix didn't need to get into "live sports licensing" at the time.
"We aren't anti-sports, we're pro-profit," Sarandos said last January.

&#8220;If we knew the audience would be that big, we probably would have done a lot more selling on that fight," Sarandos said.
The NFL Christmas Day games have seen huge advertising demand and <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/sports/24/12/42512587/netflix-analyst-say-its-only-investable-media-stock-projects-150-million-nfl-christmas-day-boost">one analyst predicts</a> that Netflix might make as much from advertising as it paid for the media rights, making it a free way to try and grab new subscribers.

Despite the early exit, U.S. media rights partner Fox Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FOX#NASDAQ">FOX</a>)(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FOXA#NASDAQ">FOXA</a>) saw strong viewership. A group stage matchup against the Netherlands had 6.4 million average viewers, setting new records for a group stage match as reported by <a href="https://deadline.com/2023/08/2023-womens-world-cup-record-ratings-us-markets-fox-telemundo-peacock-1235523315/">Deadline</a>.
The knockout game with Sweden, which aired at 5 a.m. ETT in the U.S. averaged 2.5 million viewers despite the early airing. The four U.S. games averaged 3.8 million viewers, up 2% from the 2019 Women's World Cup U.S. games, but with major time zone difficulties at play. The team's final group match aired at 3 a.m. ET and had 1.3 million viewers.
With the next Women's World Cup in Brazil, Netflix should benefit from time zones that make the matches more in-line with American viewership.
Fox currently has the U.S. media rights to the Men's World Cup through 2026, which could set the Men's World Cup up for an intense round of bidders soon. Fox has rights to several other major soccer tournaments and will likely push hard to retain the Men's World Cup, especially after losing the Women's tournaments to Netflix.
Netflix begins broadcasting WWE events in January as part of an agreement with the company&#8217;s owner TKO Group Holdings (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TKO#NYSE">TKO</a>). Sarandos said WWE fits into the mold of a younger audience and treats sporting contests like big events.
