Goldman Sachs: Intuit reported better-than-expected results for its fiscal first quarter, with "early progress in Gen-AI," Rangan said in a note. The stock came under pressure on the company's fiscal second-quarter guidance coming in "a bit weaker" than expectations, he added.
The quarterly guidance shortfall is "primarily owing to non-Core Consumer Group desktop offering's promotional activities," pushing revenues from the second quarter to the second half of the year, the analyst stated. Management kept their full-year guidance "largely intact, suggesting that Consumer Group's desktop offering is likely to reaccelerate and has the potential for recapturing earnings leverage in 2H," he further wrote.
Stifel: Intuit generated "solid" quarterly results, highlighted by an acceleration of 360 basis points in QBO (QuickBooks Online) Accounting, Reback said.
The stock sell-off in Thursday's after-hours session was due to the second-quarter guidance, which was "impacted by an acceleration in near-term Tax marketing spending and the decision to push some Tax promotional activity to 3Q," he added.
Being a "clear beneficiary from stronger economic growth (rates and policy)" would allow Intuit to generate durable double-digit growth over coming years, "as up-market, Live and AI initiatives ramp," the analyst wrote.
Oppenheimer: Intuit's Global Business Solutions Group segment generated 9% year-on-year revenue growth, with SB Online Ecosystem growing revenue by 20%, Online Services by 19% and QuickBooks Online Accounting by 21%, Schneeberger said. Credit Karma recorded 29% year-on-year revenue growth, significantly higher than expected, he added.
"Intuit maintained FY25 segment growth guidance at a strong 16%–17% y/y," the analyst wrote. Management maintained full-year total revenue and earnings growth guidance at 12%-13% and 13%-14%, respectively, he further stated.
Piper Sandler: The company reported revenues of $3.28 billion, beating expectations by around $144 million, and earnings of $2.50 per share, 14 cents higher than estimates, Ramnani said. Growth was driven by growth at GBS Online Ecosystem accelerating to 20%, from 18% in the previous quarter, and at Credit Karma accelerating to 29%, versus 14% previously, he added.
Despite the revenue and margin beat, the company reiterated its full-year guidance, the analyst stated. "The company continues to make progress toward the "done for you experiences," which is powered by AI and automation," he further wrote.
Scotiabank: Intuit reported the strongest revenue beat since the first quarter of 2022, Verkhovski said in a note. He added that the company's earnings outperformance was "lower than what we are used to seeing."
The company's earnings were impacted by an earlier-than-usual start to its marketing campaigns for the tax season, the analyst stated. "We believe F2Q guidance coming in below consensus due to quarter-to-quarter shifts is just noise as INTU manages the business at an annual level," he further wrote.
BMO Capital Markets: Intuit generated 10% year-on-year revenue growth, reflecting 4.5% of upside against the mid-point of its guidance, Jester said. Revenues were driven by strong performances by QBO Ecosystem and Credit Karma, he added.
Although QBO ecosystem growth "topped our model by more than a point," some investors were hoping for a larger upside, given the magnitude of the pricing hikes in the business this year, the analyst stated. 
Credit Karma's growth benefited from "both improved supply from lenders and innovation which is supporting newer verticals such as insurance," he further wrote.
RBC Capital Markets: Although Intuit reported "decent" results, some trends "beneath the surface were mixed," Jaluria said. While the company's total revenues came in significantly higher than consensus, this outperformance was led by "lower-quality Credit Karma revenue," he added.
Management guided to second-quarter earnings well below consensus, "primarily driven by the timing of hiring and marketing initiatives pulled forward," the analyst wrote. The company reiterated its full-year guidance across the board, he further stated.
Price Action: Shares of Intuit had declined by 4.62% to $647.33 at the time of publication on Friday.

<a>Deere &amp; Co. </a>(NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DE#NYSE">DE</a>) shares inched higher in early trading on Friday, after the company reported <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/42119233/crude-oil-gains-15-deere-posts-better-than-expected-earnings">upbeat fiscal fourth-quarter results</a>.

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Goldman Sachs On Deere &amp; Co.</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/58ac6423b85e930001e63864/jerry-revich">Analyst Jerry Revich</a> maintained a Buy rating while raising the price target from $466 to $504.
Deere's fiscal fourth-quarter results revealed sa ignificant inventory destock of $2.6 billion "to bring dealer inventories to levels approaching prior trough," Revich said in a note. The used agricultural machinery market showed "signs of stabilization," as inventories down 1% over the past six months, he added.
The company's initial 2025 guidance reflects "40%+ decremental margins vs. 36% in 4Q24 and 36% for the full year," the analyst wrote. In precision agriculture, adoption rates have continued to rise across Deere's portfolio and revenues in this business could reach around $5 billion this year, he further stated.

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Oppenheimer On Deere &amp; Co.</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/6033dff0bb72670001bd2ade/kristen-owen">Analyst Kristen Owen</a> reiterated an Outperform rating while lifting the price target from $448 to $477.
Deere reported earnings of $4.55 per share on revenues of $11,143 million, higher than consensus of $3.87 per share and $11,052M, respectively, Owens said. "DE executed against its targeted underproduction in F4Q, enabling it to enter FY25 from a position of relative strength," he added.
The outlook is still concerning, with global agriculture fundamentals likely to deteriorate further in 2025, the analyst stated. "That said, the guide embeds an outlook for production cadence converging with demand, muted but positive price and price/cost, and solid cost execution," he further wrote.
<h1 class="wp-block-heading">BMO Capital Markets On Deere &amp; Co.</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5981fdcac1f558000155e852/joel-jackson">Analyst</a><a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5981fdcac1f558000155e852/joel-jackson"> Joel Jackson</a> reaffirmed a Market Perform rating and a price target of $400.
The company's net income guidance range of $5 billion to $5.5 billion represents a contraction of around 50% from the 2023 peak, Jackson said. Management's commentary suggested performance could turn flattish or positive "at some point" in the second half of fiscal 2025, he added.
"Used equipment dynamic still normalizing for 1-2 year old combines/tractors in N. America," the analyst wrote. He further stated that fiscal 2025 earnings trough is expected to be below $20 per share.
DE Price Action: Shares of Deere &amp; Co. had risen by 1.46% to $443.92 at the time of publication on Friday.

Paul's recently acquired estate in Dorado, Puerto Rico, shows the social media star's success outside the ring. The eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom compound underwent $2.1 million in renovations after its 2023 purchase. In a recent YouTube tour titled &#8220;My new $20,000,000 house tour,&#8221; Paul highlighted his changes, including a redesigned entrance for improved energy flow.
According to Realtor.com, the property includes several distinctive amenities, such as a 40-person hot tub and dedicated office space for Paul&#8217;s content production team. His garage also received a custom makeover to accommodate his growing car collection.
By comparison, Tyson's real estate footprint appears modest. The former heavyweight champion's current residence, a $2.5 million mansion in Henderson, Nevada, has appreciated to an estimated $4.7 million, according to Realtor.com. The record-breaking<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/42025252/jake-paul-vs-mike-tyson-boxing-match-sets-record-breaking-night-for-netflix"> boxing match</a>, which earned Paul roughly $40 million and Tyson $20 million, further widens the wealth gap between the two fighters. Momentum indicators add complexity: the moving average convergence/divergence (MACD) indicator sits at 0.18, a bullish signal, while the relative strength index (RSI) at 50.16 hovers in neutral territory.

In the first half of the year, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rebounded from a negative return in 2022. DNB Asset Management, a unit of Norway&rsquo;s largest financial group DNB Bank ASA (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DNBBY#OTC">DNBBY</a>), increased its position in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>), Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) and Nio Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NIO#NYSE">NIO</a>) in the second quarter, while also initiating stakes in Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PLTR#NYSE">PLTR</a>) and Li Auto Inc. (NASADQ: LI).

What Happened: DNB Asset Management said in a regulatory filing that it raised its stake in Apple to 3.86 million shares by acquiring 423,239 shares of the tech giant and also boosted its holdings in Tesla to 834,038 shares by buying an additional 713,216 shares in the EV maker.

Further, the firm bought an additional 582,664 shares in Nio to end the quarter with 618,585 shares in the Chinese electric vehicle maker.

In addition, the asset manager raised its stake in hydrogen fuel cell maker Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PLUG#NASDAQ">PLUG</a>) to 435,885 shares by purchasing an additional 348,088 shares and upped its stake in renewable natural gas company Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CLNE#NASDAQ">CLNE</a>) to 737,459 shares with the purchase of an additional 40,344 shares.

DNB Asset Management initiated stakes in software maker Palantir Technologies and Chinese EV maker Li Auto by buying 49,559 and 14,299 shares in the two companies, respectively.

Meanwhile, DNB Asset slashed its holding in Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/INTC#NASDAQ">INTC</a>) by nearly half to 809,214 shares. It also trimmed its holdings in Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FB#NASDAQ">FB</a>) to 2.2 million shares by selling 916,874 shares and sold 8,939 shares in Jack Dorsey-led Square Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SQ#NYSE">SQ</a>) for a final stake of 51,953 shares.

Why It Matters: Companies such as Apple, Nio, Palantir Technologies and Clean Energy are seeing <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/long-ideas/21/07/21868801/clover-health-tops-wallstreetbets-interest-chart-today-gamestop-amc-also-in-spotlight">increased interest</a> from retail investors. Apple is seeing higher interest amid rumors that the company&rsquo;s new iPhone series remains on track for a September launch.

Meanwhile, shares of Nio and other U.S.-listed Chinese stocks are seeing weakness in recent days following the Chinese government&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/government/21/07/21841493/china-orders-removal-of-didi-app-from-stores-over-data-protection">crackdown</a> on Chinese ride-hailing company DiDi Global Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DIDI#NYSE">DIDI</a>).

Intel said in late June that it is delaying the production of one of its newest chips, code-named Sapphire Rapids, to the first quarter of 2022.

Price Action: Apple shares closed 1.3% higher in Friday&rsquo;s trading session at $145.11, while Tesla shares closed 0.6% higher at $656.95.
