The 15,000-square-foot residence sits on a corner lot with over an acre of land and 560 feet of waterfrontage on the Intracoastal Waterway. Joel also purchased a townhouse in Palm Beach and an equestrian property in Wellington.

If there&rsquo;s anything I&rsquo;ve learned from years of covering the market, it&rsquo;s that Wall Street loves <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/growth-stocks/">growth stocks</a>. Fast-growing companies tend to attract investor attention and deliver stellar returns relative to value stocks. However, the real Wall Street darlings are companies that can deliver both high growth and solid profits. These rare companies have pricing power, expand margins over time, and eventually start returning excess capital to shareholders, sending their stocks soaring.



In my experience, some of the best opportunities come from under-the-radar growth stocks that are expanding rapidly, yet remain unknown to mainstream investors. With the right fundamentals, these growth stocks can deliver outsized returns and recover quickly during market downturns as they march steadily toward consistent profitability. Let&rsquo;s take a look at three such growth stocks!



<h2>Cematrix (CTXXF)</h2>

Although still a small Canadian firm, I believe the company&rsquo;s upside potential warrants more attention. In fact, CTXXF stock has already been rebounding nicely, up 88% over the past year, but still 59% below its 2021 peak. A stock price of 24 cents per share still appears attractive to me. The company attained profitability in Q3, with <a href="https://www.google.com/finance/quote/CTXXF:OTCMKTS">revenue surging 76% to CAD$20.4 million</a>. I anticipate revenue to potentially double over the coming two years, alongside considerable margin expansion.



Cematrix recently publicized a new CFO and <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4076514-cematrix-announces-new-contracts-worth-67m">$6.7 million in new contracts</a> this month, which could drive substantial growth ahead. With the right execution and strategy, I foresee this cement company becoming a major player in the North American construction materials industry.



<h2>SmartRent (SMRT)</h2>

Rents and housing prices continue rising alongside income, which will only drive more revenue and net income for the company over the long-run. Indeed, the company&rsquo;s financials already appear poised for a turnaround. <a href="https://www.google.com/finance/quote/SMRT:NYSE">Revenue grew 49% year-over-year to $60.3 million</a>, as profitability quickly comes into focus.



Analysts anticipate profits in 2025 accompanied by revenue expanding around 15%-20% annually moving forward. Revenue is expected to surge from <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SMRT/earnings/estimates">$273 million in 2024 to $536 million in 2028</a>. The company also possesses $215 million in cash against virtually no debt, providing funds to fuel substantial growth ahead. Moreover, the premium investors pay for exposure to this growth stock seems quite reasonable, at only 2-times forward sales, while <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/technology/software/">software stocks</a> typically trade at much steeper premiums. If SmartRent manages to surpass its earnings targets going forward, I expect SMRT stock to be one of the best-performing growth stocks in this current cycle.



<h2>DLocal (DLO)</h2>

This is another stock that&rsquo;s basically moved sideways over the past year and a half after an initial decline following the post-COVID boom cool-down. My bull case is that substantial growth lies ahead for this fintech stock, which boasts some of the most robust margins in the market &ndash; <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/DLO/summary">a 23% net margin, exceeding 93% of software industry peers</a>. Its 3-year revenue growth rate sits at 82%, better than 97% of peers. This growth is due to the company&rsquo;s foothold in many fast-growing developing markets.



Moreover, analysts anticipate the company&rsquo;s <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DLO/earnings/estimates">earnings per share will double from 2024 to 2026</a>, as revenue surges from $886 million to $1.52 billion over the same period. Paying just 24-times forward earnings for this growth seems like a steal. DLocal also carries virtually no debt, while holding $639 million of cash on its balance sheet. If execution remains solid, I expect substantial upside for long-term investors.



<h2>Freee KK (FREKF)</h2>

This Japanese company has been expanding rapidly in recent quarters, and I believe ample growth remains. <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/term/rvn_growth_3y/FREKF/3-Year-Revenue-Growth-Rate-Per-Share/Freee-KK">The 3-year annual revenue growth rate sits around 30%</a>, and forward 3-5-year annual revenue growth should linger around the same pace.



The major issue is profitability. Freee KK <a href="https://www.google.com/finance/quote/FREKF:OTCMKTS">reported a -67.4% net margin</a> in Q4, which is quite concerning. However, the company possesses $219 million in cash against only $23 million in debt, sufficient to handle more than two years of losses if they remain constant, which is unlikely. I expect losses to begin falling as the company&rsquo;s top line expands.



Also of note, while Japan has exited its negative interest rate policy, rates are still super low, and any cash crunch could easily be supplemented with leverage thanks to the company&rsquo;s minuscule debt burden. This allows more debt intake going forward, so I view FREKF stock as a promising cloud play for the long-run. Gurufocus estimates the stock&rsquo;s fair price at $43.40 in mid-2025, providing major upside from the current $23 per share price tag, if achieved.



<h2>D2L (DTLIF)</h2>

Millions worldwide use the company&rsquo;s core technology, including the Brightspace LMS.



The stock has been extremely volatile since going public two years ago. However, recent momentum seems promising. Over the past year, DTLIF stock is up around 44%, and I believe it can continue cruising higher. Online learning continues to grow even without pandemic tailwinds, with many still opting to learn remotely.



The company recently posted 11% year-over-year revenue growth alongside <a href="https://www.google.com/finance/quote/DTLIF:OTCMKTS">shrinking losses, which declined from $97.7 million in 2022 to $18.4 million in 2023</a>. That&rsquo;s impressive progress. I think D2L can quickly expand margins and continue double-digit top-line growth. Analysts agree, expecting the company&rsquo;s <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DTLIF/earnings/estimates">revenue to hit $452 million in FY2032</a>. With substantial room for margin growth, I see plenty of upside potential if execution remains solid. Notably, D2L also holds $123 million in cash against only $12.6 million in debt.



<h2>Inter &amp; Co. (INTR)</h2>

It has also detrimentally impacted fintech firms and enterprises relying on the banking industry for growth. However, this narrative does not apply universally. 



Brazil is one nation that commenced its rate hike cycle early and has subdued inflation, now entering a rate reduction period. This has been advantageous for the country&rsquo;s fintech and banking sectors, with many Brazil-based fintech companies thriving. One relatively unknown name is Inter &amp; Co. (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/intr-stock-quote/">INTR</a>), which has gained 265% over the past year. I believe substantial upside remains in the years ahead, as its stellar performance is likely to continue.



Inter &amp; Co. is the holding company of Grupo Inter, operating the premier Super App in the Americas. The company offers banking capabilities, investments, credit, insurance, and cross-border solutions. 



Revenue is <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/INTR/earnings/estimates">anticipated to continue expanding at a double-digit pace</a> in the forthcoming years. Additionally, robust earnings per share growth of 43% is expected in 2025 and 26% in 2026. Paying merely 15-times forward earnings for such growth still appears to be an attractive proposition. Analysts see Inter &amp; Co. delivering $1.24 billion in revenue in 2024 coupled with 40 cents in earnings per share.



<h2>Network-1 Technologies (NTIP)</h2>

The company collaborates with patent holders to assist in licensing their innovations. Significantly, the company&rsquo;s &lsquo;930 patent (6,218,930) plays a crucial role in the industry-standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. 



This stock has not been as fortunate as the others on the list. That may be partly due to the fact that Network-1 is one of the more boring stocks when you zoom out. This stock has traded between $2 and $5 per share since 2017, and lingered near the lower end of that band for much of its history.



However, what entices me about this stock is that the small firm still furnishes a dividend with a 4.8% yield, likely because of its impressive 25.4% net income margin. It has negligible debt and <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NTIP">$45 million in cash</a>. If the enterprise can utilize its substantial patent portfolio moving forward and leverage it to accelerate growth, I believe substantial upside lies ahead. It is also trading near its $2 floor. So, I view the stock&rsquo;s downside risk as relatively minimal.

Sure, many growth names are still quite risky. Chasing the latest meme stock or unproven biotech is a good way to lose your shirt. However, for investors with a long-term mindset, now is the perfect time to start building positions in high-quality growth stocks.



As rates come down and the economy stabilizes, these businesses could deliver explosive returns. I wouldn&rsquo;t be surprised to see some of the best growth stocks 5X or more in value over the next five years. Of course, you have to be selective and manage your risk. But if you&rsquo;re aiming for outsized gains, having some exposure to growth is a must. Here are seven growth stocks that have the potential to be mega-winners.



<h2>Cadeler (CDLR)</h2>

These massive turbines out at sea generate more consistent power than their land-based counterparts without noise complaints. Cadeler seems perfectly positioned to ride this wave of clean energy expansion.



Analysts project the company&rsquo;s revenue to <a href="http://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CDLR/earnings/estimates" target="_blank">surge from $255 million </a>in 2024 to over $1 billion by 2027. Earnings per share is expected to skyrocket from just 20 cents to $1.86 in that same period. With numbers like these, I wouldn&rsquo;t be surprised to see Cadeler&rsquo;s stock deliver 5x returns or more.

They recently inked a deal with Orsted (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/dnngy-stock-quote/">DNNGY</a>) for a long-term vessel lease starting in 2027.



Of course, I have to temper my enthusiasm with a dose of realism. Cadeler operates in a capital-intensive industry with plenty of risks. Weather delays, project cancellations, or new competitors could throw a wrench in their plans. But from where I&rsquo;m sitting, the potential rewards far outweigh the risks for this offshore wind pure-play.



<h2>Megaport (MGPPF)</h2>

Thanks to the AI revolution, the data center industry is booming and this trend will only accelerate in the coming years. Megaport is perfectly positioned to ride this wave of growth.



Megaport reported impressive numbers. <a href="https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/australian-stocks-megaport-shares-fall-as-upgraded-forecast-disappoints-1033299336" target="_blank">Revenue increased 30% </a>year-over-year to 49.5 million AUD, while EBITDA nearly doubled to 14 million AUD. The company also upgraded its full-year EBITDA guidance.



Despite these strong results, Megaport&rsquo;s stock price took a hit recently. Regardless, this company is profitable and growing rapidly, with plenty of runway ahead as the data center and AI industries continue to expand.



Sure, there are risks to consider. Megaport&rsquo;s success hinges on sustained growth in AI and data center demand. But given the massive investments pouring into these sectors, I&rsquo;m optimistic about the company&rsquo;s prospects.



<h2>Ouster (OUST)</h2>

This company is poised to ride the massive robotics and automation adoption wave in the coming years. The lidar industry could surge as companies across sectors embrace these technologies, and Ouster seems uniquely positioned to capitalize. Their recent financial performance has been stellar compared to lidar peers. It is still unprofitable, but analysts project Ouster could reach profitability by 2027 with significant growth after that. If analyst estimates pan out, you&rsquo;re looking at just 3x 2027 earnings at current prices.



Of course, it&rsquo;s speculative at this stage. But I see multibagger potential here if robotics continues its exponential growth and EVs come back with increased lidar usage. The stock has surged lately on strong Q1 results, with <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ouster-announces-record-revenue-margin-201500186.html" target="_blank">revenue up 51% year-over-year to $26 million</a>. Several analysts have boosted price targets, including Craig-Hallum to $13 and Rosenblatt to $17.



<h2>ClearPoint Neuro (CLPT)</h2>

CLPT stock has surged about 40% in the past two weeks and could climb even higher if the company maintains its growth trajectory and continues making medical breakthroughs. 



While I typically steer clear of small biotech firms, I think it is worth considering CLPT. I&rsquo;m personally quite bullish on gene-editing companies. These cutting-edge businesses have the potential to cure a wide array of diseases and boast extensive pipelines. This optimism extends to ClearPoint Neuro as well.



In Q1, <a href="https://www.investing.com/news/stock-market-news/earnings-call-clearpoint-neuro-sees-robust-q1-growth-with-diverse-revenue-streams-93CH-3430774" target="_blank">revenue rose 41% year-over-year</a> to $7.6 million. That&rsquo;s not too bad, considering this top-line number beat estimates by 9.23%. It still trades at quite a steep sales premium, but I see multiple catalysts on the horizon that could keep sales growing fast.



Cash is also one of the most important metrics for an unprofitable biotech company. This company&rsquo;s cash holdings are around $35 million, which is satisfactory considering its $4.15 million in net losses in Q1.



<h2>Block (SQ)</h2>

It has delivered impressive financial results recently, with <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/02/block-sq-earnings-q1-2024.html" target="_blank">Q1 2024 revenue of $5.96 billion</a> beating estimates and adjusted EPS of 85 cents, surpassing expectations. Block raised its full-year 2024 guidance, now expecting gross profit of at least $8.78 billion (17% growth) and adjusted operating income of at least $1.3 billion. If we look at fundamentals, this stock should&rsquo;ve recovered to around $100 many months ago, but the broader fintech industry has not been cooperating.

Block&rsquo;s stock has been trading sideways at a discounted level due to the depressed fintech sector; rising EPS should lead to an eventual breakout.



Moreover, impending interest rate cuts could also catalyze a major rally for Block. Block could deliver 5x returns in five years if the market fully appreciates its profitable growth. Management would need to surpass those optimistic EPS expectations I mentioned above. Can they do it? That&rsquo;s for you to bet on.



<h2>Fastly (FSLY)</h2>

Fastly is an exciting bet on the future of cloud computing, edge computing and streaming over the next five years. Yes, the stock has plummeted nearly 58% in the past year amid concerns over slowing growth and mounting losses. However, shares have stabilized recently, and Fastly could deliver outsized returns.



Analysts seem cautiously optimistic, with an <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/fsly/forecast" target="_blank">average price target of $9.8</a>, implying a 29% upside from current levels. The company also reported solid Q1 results, with <a href="https://www.investing.com/news/company-news/fastly-cfo-sells-shares-worth-over-87000-93CH-3508018" target="_blank">revenue up 14% year-over-year to $133.5 million</a>, beating estimates.



Looking ahead, Fastly is expected to turn profitable in 2025. You are currently paying <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FSLY/earnings/estimates" target="_blank">just four times 2030 earnings</a>, though I will warn again that these estimates are very speculative.



Regardless, the risk-reward looks favorable for people willing to ride out the volatility. Cloud and edge computing are clear megatrends that should provide strong long-term tailwinds for Fastly&rsquo;s business.



<h2>freee K.K. (FREKF)</h2>

(OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/frekf-stock-quote/">FREKF</a>) specializes in delivering cloud-based accounting and HR software solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in Japan. This company is poised for hypergrowth as more Japanese companies rush to digitize their back-office operations. In fact, freee&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.google.com/finance/quote/FREKF:OTCMKTS" target="_blank">revenue surged 31% year-over-year to 6.65 billion Yen</a> in Q1 2024.



Despite this impressive performance, freee&rsquo;s stock is still down nearly 78% from its all-time high. A weakening Japanese Yen has been a headwind for the company. However, I think the worst may be over for the stock. As global interest rates stabilize and the Yen potentially recovers, investor sentiment toward Japanese equities could improve.



Japan is finally ending its negative interest rate policy, and I expect the macroeconomic environment to become more favorable for growth stocks like freee.
