U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index falling around 300 points on Friday.
Shares of CAVA Group, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CAVA#NYSE">CAVA</a>) rose sharply during Friday&#8217;s session as the company reported better-than-expected <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/24/08/40527721/these-analysts-increase-their-forecasts-on-cava-group-after-strong-earnings">second-quarter financial results on Thursday.</a>
Cava Group reported quarterly earnings of 17 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 12 cents by 41.67%. Quarterly sales clocked in at $233.495 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate by 7% and representing a 35.05% increase from the same period last year.
CAVA Group jumped 17% to $119.37 on Friday.

<li>Valhi, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VHI#NYSE">VHI</a>) gained 13.2% to $27.66.</li>
<li>Bilibili Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BILI#NASDAQ">BILI</a>) rose 12.5% to $14.57 after Barclays upgraded the stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised its price target from $14 to $19.</li>
<li>Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/WDAY#NASDAQ">WDAY</a>) gained 10.6% to $255.66 as the company upbeat earnings for the second quarter.</li>
<li>NexGen Energy Ltd. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NXE#NYSE">NXE</a>) rose 10.1% to $6.39.</li>
<li>Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ROKU#NASDAQ">ROKU</a>) gained 9% to $67.35. Guggenheim analyst Michael Morris upgraded Roku from Neutral to Buy.</li>
<li>BW LPG Limited (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BWLP#NYSE">BWLP</a>) rose 7.5% to $16.73.</li>
<li>Lumen Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LUMN#NYSE">LUMN</a>) climbed 7.3% to $6.48.</li>
<li>AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ASTS#NASDAQ">ASTS</a>) rose 6.4% to $36.37.</li>
<li>Powell Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/POWL#NASDAQ">POWL</a>) gained 6% to $188.75.</li>
