Smoky will begin delivering power through the PPA starting in 2025 and over the next decade, will supply more than 14 gigawatt hours of carbon-free energy to TVA customers, advancing TVA's transition towards its 2050 net-zero goal.
Smoky currently owns and operates a 377-megawatt portfolio of four hydroelectric power facilities across east Tennessee and western North Carolina. This portfolio generates an annual average of 1.4 million megawatt-hours of carbon-free energy—equivalent to approximately 1.1 million tons of CO2 emissions avoided each year.

Dolby sees full-year 2025 revenue in the range of $1.33 billion to $1.39 billion versus estimates of $1.28 billion. The company expects full-year earnings to be between $3.99 and $4.14 per share versus estimates of $3.70 per share. 
Dolby&#8217;s strong forecast appears to be helping push shares higher after hours. The company&#8217;s management team will further discuss the quarter on a call with analysts and investors at 5 p.m. ET.

On March 12, 2024, the Company's board of directors approved a share repurchase plan whereby the Company is authorized to repurchase its ADSs or Class A ordinary shares with an aggregate value of up to US$350 million during the 12-month period from April 1, 2024.
As of November 19, 2024, the Company had in aggregate purchased approximately 13.7 million ADSs in the open market for a total amount of approximately US$298 million (inclusive of commissions) at an average price of US$21.7 per ADS pursuant to the share repurchase plan.
New US$450 Million Share Repurchase Plan of 2025
On November 19, 2024, the Company's board of directors approved a new share repurchase plan whereby the Company is authorized to repurchase up to US$450 million worth of its ADSs or Class A ordinary shares over the next 12 months starting from January 1, 2025. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission suspended trading in 15 companies on Friday, citing questionable trading and social media activity.

What Happened:&nbsp;In a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2021-35" target="_blank">statement</a>, the SEC said that the suspension is part of the agency&#39;s ongoing effort to prevent attempts to exploit investors amid market volatility spinning around the so-called meme stocks such as&nbsp;GameStop Corp&nbsp;(NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/GME#NYSE">GME</a>).&nbsp;

&quot;Today&#39;s action follows the recent suspensions of the securities of numerous other issuers, many of which may also have been targets of apparent social media attempts to artificially inflate their stock price,&quot; the official release said.

Melissa Hodgman, acting director of the SEC&rsquo;s Division of Enforcement, said, &ldquo;We proactively monitor for suspicious trading activity tied to stock promotions on social media and act quickly to stop that trading when appropriate to safeguard the public interest. We also remind investors to exercise caution and do their diligence before investing generally, including in companies promoted on social media.&rdquo;

Why It Matters:&nbsp;The SEC order states that none of the issuers has filed any information with the SEC or OTC Markets, where the companies&rsquo; securities are quoted, for over a year.&nbsp;

Under federal law, the agency can suspend trading in stock only for 10 days and generally prohibit a broker-dealer from soliciting investors to buy or sell the stock again until certain reporting requirements are met.
