Humankind Investments LLC (the Adviser) uses a passive or indexing approach in seeking to achieve the Funds investment objective. The Fund does not try to outperform the index it tracks. Specifically, the Fund employs an investment management strategy that corresponds generally to the performance, before the fees and expenses of the Fund, of the Humankind US Equity Index (the Index). As explained in more detail below, the Index is primarily comprised of domestic (US) equity securities and may not be comprised of greater than 5% of foreign securities (including American Depository Receipts (ADRs)). The Fund invests in the common stock of each company in the Index in approximately the same proportion as represented in the Index itself. Under normal conditions, the Fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in securities contained in the Index (the 90% Policy). The overall goal of the Index is to select component securities issued by companies that are benefiting humankind defined as value created for investors, consumers, employees, and members of society generally. The Index Sponsor (as defined below) seeks to meet the above goal by investing in issuers that meet socially responsible investment (SRI) criteria.

Sounds impressive, right? But here's the catch: that number doesn't tell the whole story. A small group of ultra-wealthy individuals significantly skews the average, making it more of an illusion than a reality for most.

The median net worth for retirees aged 65 to 74 is just $409,900 – less than a quarter of that lofty $1.79 million. And it gets worse for those 75 and older, whose median net worth drops to $335,600. These figures paint a much more realistic picture of what the average retiree is working with.
Why does this matter? While $1.79 million sounds like a comfortable retirement, $409,900 is far less than most experts recommend saving for retirement. Financial advisors often recommend saving at least 10 times your annual salary by age 67 to maintain your lifestyle in retirement. They suggest benchmarks to get there: save 1x your salary by 30, 3x by 40, 6x by 50 and 8x by 60. For example, if you earn $100,000 a year, you should ideally have $300,000 saved by 40 and $1 million by 60. Compare this to the median net worth of retirees and most Americans are falling behind.
The reality is even starker when you look at the broader population. Nearly half American households have no retirement savings at all. For those who do, the average 401(k) balance for people nearing retirement (ages 60–69) is just $182,100, according to Vanguard data. Even among diligent savers, these numbers fall well short of the 6x or 8x benchmarks recommended by experts.
A median net worth of $409,900 might seem like a solid foundation, but it doesn't stretch as far as you hope. For instance, if you invest it and generate a 5% return, that's about $20,500 annually. Add in Social Security, which averages around $20,000 annually and your total is roughly $40,500 annually.

A lack of savings can lead to financial strain in retirement, especially as credit-card debt among retirees is on the rise. EBRI.org reports that over the past 20 years, both the percentage of older people carrying debt and the amount of debt they carry has increased by 50%.

What To Know: The notes are being offered in a private placement to institutional buyers under Rule 144A of the Securities Act of 1933. These senior notes will be unsecured obligations. They will accrue interest payable semi-annually and mature on June 15 2031, unless converted, redeemed, or repurchased earlier.
Core Scientific has provided conditions under which the notes can be converted to cash, shares or a combination of both. The company also outlined specific scenarios for redemption and repurchase, including an option for noteholders to require repurchase if certain fundamental changes occur.
The proceeds from this offering are earmarked for general corporate purposes, including working capital, operating expenses and potential acquisitions. Riot Games is introducing a significant update to its terms of service for creators, extending its policies to cover misconduct that occurs off-platform, including during broadcasts or content creation related to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming">its games. </a>
The change, which will go into effect on Jan. 3, 2025, aims to hold creators accountable for their behavior even when they are not engaging directly within Riot&#8217;s games.

The update clarifies that penalties can now be imposed for actions that violate Riot&#8217;s terms of service, even if the misconduct takes place outside the game itself.

Specifically, if a creator uses hateful language or engages in inappropriate behavior while streaming or creating content related to Riot's games—regardless of whether the actions occur in-game or not—penalties can be issued.
"If you say or do things that break our terms of service while broadcasting or creating content about our games, we can restrict access to your Riot accounts (and suspend your Partner privileges if you are part of our Partner program)," the company<a href="https://www.riotgames.com/en/news/creator-related-updates-riot-privacy-notice-terms-of-service"> said</a> in a statement on its website. 
This means that creators who are part of Riot's Partner program, as well as non-partners, could face account suspensions or restrictions based on off-platform conduct related to the company&#8217;s titles.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">A More Comprehensive Enforcement Strategy</h3>
In addition to extending penalties for off-platform misconduct, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming/24/10/41367265/riot-games-lays-off-27-developers-as-part-of-league-of-legends-restructure">Riot Games</a> announced that it would also impose restrictions on access to a player's entire Riot account for any violations of its terms of service. 
This includes suspending access to all of Riot's games and services if the conduct is deemed to break the company's guidelines.
