Humankind Investments LLC (the Adviser) uses a passive or indexing approach in seeking to achieve the Funds investment objective. The Fund does not try to outperform the index it tracks. Specifically, the Fund employs an investment management strategy that corresponds generally to the performance, before the fees and expenses of the Fund, of the Humankind US Equity Index (the Index). As explained in more detail below, the Index is primarily comprised of domestic (US) equity securities and may not be comprised of greater than 5% of foreign securities (including American Depository Receipts (ADRs)). The Fund invests in the common stock of each company in the Index in approximately the same proportion as represented in the Index itself. Under normal conditions, the Fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in securities contained in the Index (the 90% Policy). The overall goal of the Index is to select component securities issued by companies that are benefiting humankind defined as value created for investors, consumers, employees, and members of society generally. The Index Sponsor (as defined below) seeks to meet the above goal by investing in issuers that meet socially responsible investment (SRI) criteria.

Epic has proposed that Google should be forced to allow rival stores to exist within&nbsp;its own Google Play Store&nbsp;and give&nbsp;them access to every Google&nbsp;Play app.
Both parties agreed&nbsp;that opening up the Play&nbsp;Store is feasible, but disagreed on the timeline, cost, and whether Google should be able to review&nbsp;every app in every rival&nbsp;store before allowing them into Google Play.
Donato plans to ban any discriminatory behavior by Google towards rival app stores, including human reviews.
He also proposed the creation of a &#8220;technical compliance and monitoring committee&#8221; to oversee&nbsp;the technical details and report back to the court every&nbsp;90 days.
Why It Matters: In an interview, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeny compared his <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/23/12/36209589/tim-sweeney-says-some-people-called-him-conspiracy-theorist-but-now-they-know-the-truth-about-google">company&#8217;s legal battles</a> with Google and&nbsp;Apple.
At the time he stated, &#8220;I would say Apple was ice and Google was fire,&#8221; adding that Apple&#8217;s &#8220;antitrust trickery&#8221; was contained within the company, while <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/23/12/36189035/federal-jury-rules-against-googles-android-app-store-in-epic-games-lawsuit">Google&#8217;s practices were more outward</a>.
Sweney had also earlier stated that the trial validated his suspicions regarding Google&#8217;s behind-the-scenes practices. "It was really, really interesting to see that my understandings of what Google was doing behind the scenes were actually true."
