Cues From Last Session:
The Dow Jones snapped its two-session losing streak this week to close 100 points higher on Wednesday, while the S&amp;P 500 eked a marginal gain to close in the green.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq, however, fell ahead of the volatility due to Nvidia's earnings after the bell.
Crude oil prices continued to rise amid growing tensions between Russia and Ukraine but remained under the $70 mark.
Treasury yields eased slightly as investors waited for further economic data.
On the economic data front, mortgage applications in the U.S. rose 1.7% from the previous week in the week ending Nov. 15, compared to a 0.5% gain in the prior period.
Most sectors on the S&amp;P 500 closed on a positive note, with healthcare, energy, and materials stocks recording the biggest gains on Wednesday.
However, consumer discretionary and financial stocks bucked the overall market trend, closing the session lower.

The company will issue 20 million American depository shares raising as much as $260 million, according <a href="https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1969302/000110465924120872/tm2310344-28_fwp.htm">to</a> a regulatory filing.
Why It Matters: Pony AI was founded in late 2016 by James Peng and Tiancheng Lou. It operates self-driving fleets in the U.S. and China and has driven nearly 40 million autonomous testing and operation kilometers on open roads worldwide. 
Uber, meanwhile, has <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/24/09/40855784/uber-stock-spikes-as-ceo-praises-waymos-fully-autonomous-trips">partnerships with other autonomous vehicle companies</a> including Alphabet Inc.&#8217;s Waymo and UK&#8217;s Wayve.

In economic data, U.S. mortgage applications increased by 1.7% for the week ending November 15, up from the 0.5% rise recorded the previous week.
Healthcare, energy, and materials led S&amp;P 500 gains Wednesday, while consumer discretionary and financials declined.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.32% and closed at 43,408.47, the S&amp;P 500 gained 0.002% to 5,917.11, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 0.11% to finish at 18,966.14.
