Swedish EV maker Polestar Automotive (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PSNY#NASDAQ">PSNY</a>) is offering up to $20,000 to Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) vehicle owners who choose to make a switch and lease a Polestar 3.
What Happened: &#8220;Make the switch to Polestar. Save up to $20,000 on a Polestar 3 lease as a Tesla owner,&#8221; the company says on its U.S. website.
The offer, which began on Feb. 21, expires on Feb 28. It is only available on the lease of a new model year 2025 Polestar 3 vehicle.
Polestar 3 is an SUV that starts at $67,500, cheaper than a Tesla Model X but pricier than the top variant of its Model Y. The long-range all-wheel drive variant of Tesla&#8217;s refreshed Model Y starts at $59,990.
Why It Matters: Polestar targeting Tesla owners is not unexpected. Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/25/01/43155064/polestar-ceo-looks-to-attract-tesla-customers-disenchanted-by-elon-musks-politics-somebody-outside-of-germany-endorsing-right-wing-politicial-parties-totally-unacceptable">said in an interview last month</a> that Tesla CEO Elon Musk&#8216;s involvement in global politics is pushing away customers.
Lohscheller said that a lot of people have "very, very negative sentiment" about Musk's involvement in politics. The Polestar CEO also said that he has told the company's salespersons to target disappointed Tesla owners for potential business.
Lohscheller became CEO of Polestar in October. &#8220;Both in terms of volumes and financials, we expect 2025 to be the strongest year in Polestar&#8217;s history," the CEO said in January. 
The company reported a 15% drop in sales<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/01/42896581/polestar-sees-5-3-increase-in-q4-retail-sales-order-intake-surges-37-2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;to 44,851 cars for the full year 2024.</a>

Palantir, Tempus AI, Riot Platforms, Berkshire Hathaway, And Tesla: Why These 5 Stocks Are On Investors' Radars Today (CORRECTED)

Domino&#8217;s Pizza Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/DPZ#NASDAQ">DPZ</a>) <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43909695/dominos-pizza-posts-q4-earnings-below-estimates-stock-falls">missed</a> its fourth-quarter estimates but still delivered about 1% market share gains in the quick service restaurant (QSR) space in the U.S. The management reiterated confidence to "capture additional" market share gains in 2025.
What Happened: CEO Russell Weiner largely attributed the market share gains to the company's focus on value. According to him, their value-driven initiatives like Emergency Pizza, MOREflation, and aggregator partnerships resonated with consumers.
He said "renowned value was key" for its success for the year. "It helped drive market share gains in QSR pizza of about 1% in the U.S., consistent with our average annual share growth since 2015," he added.
Furthermore, talking about the future he said that Domino&#8217;s will deliver U.S. same-store sales growth of "3% or more annually," along with 175 net new stores.
"This would enable Domino&#8217;s to continue to capture additional market share gains in 2025 and beyond," he added.

Why It Matters: The company fell short of the fourth quarter expectations despite expanding global retail sales. Revenue rose 2.9% to $1.44 billion, missing the $1.48 billion estimate. Global retail sales increased 4.4% excluding currency impact, fueled by 364 new stores globally. U.S. same-store sales edged up 0.4%, while international grew 2.7% excluding currency. EPS was $4.89, below the anticipated $4.92.
The company also raised its dividend by 15.2% to $1.74 with a record date of March 14, to be paid on&nbsp;March 28. 
CFO Sandeep Reddy said that the company expects an operating profit growth of approximately 8% excluding the impact of currency next year. "At current exchange rates, we are expecting foreign currency to be a headwind of approximately 1% to 2% on operating income growth," he added.
Price Action: Domino's fell 1.46% on Monday, contrasting with a 1.18% decline in the Invesco QQQ Trust, Series 1 (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QQQ#NASDAQ">QQQ</a>), which tracks the Nasdaq 100 index.
DPZ remains higher by 4.76% on a year-to-date basis and 0.73% lower over a year.

Deepwater Management&#8216;s Gene Munster&nbsp;has shared his insights on Apple&#8217;s recent announcement of $500 billion U.S. investments.
What Happened: On Tuesday, Munster took to X to present his analysis of&nbsp;Apple Inc.&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>)&#8217;s decision to ramp up its annual U.S. expenditures. He believes the tech giant is set to increase its annual U.S. investments by $39 billion, a 45% increase from the 2021 run rate. However, Munster suggests the actual&nbsp;incremental investment is closer to&nbsp;$20 billion annually.

He also indicated that Apple&#8217;s announcement underscores its realization that an AI-powered future necessitates significant infrastructure investments. He estimates that 15% of the $19 billion incremental spend will be allocated to the hiring of 20,000 new employees, adding roughly $3 billion in annual employee expenses. The remaining 85% is likely to be invested in infrastructure, including expanding data center capacity and chip production for Apple Watches and iPads.
Munster&#8217;s third point underscores Apple&#8217;s strategic approach to bypass tariffs by redirecting those savings into U.S. investments. He estimates that the U.S. accounts for about 35% of Apple&#8217;s total sales, translating to approximately $147 billion in revenue this year. Of that, around $120 billion comes from product sales, which could be affected by the 10% tariffs. Hence, by boosting its domestic investments, Apple could potentially save at least $11 billion per year by avoiding the tariff. Put simply, tariff avoidance covers half of the additional $19 billion in U.S. investment announced.

Why It Matters: Apple CEO Tim Cook&#8216;s announcement of this massive investment in the U.S. is being widely perceived as a means to avoid the tariff threat. Tariffs have been a cause of major cause of concern for Apple. Bank of America analyst Analyst Wamsi Mohan had previously stated that iPhone manufacturers will need to increase prices on iPhones, iPads, and other <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/02/43839627/apple-may-hike-iphone-prices-by-9-due-to-trumps-tariffs-says-bank-of-america">products by about 9%</a> to offset the impact of tariffs.
Meanwhile, President <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/25/02/43911774/trump-says-apples-500-billion-investment-is-due-to-his-policies-without-which-they-wouldnt-be-investing-ten-cents">Donald Trump stated</a> that the investment was a result of Apple&#8217;s confidence in his administration and policies.
