Innoviz Technologies Ltd (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/INVZ#NASDAQ">INVZ</a>) shares are trading higher Monday after the company announced a multi-year payment plan expected to <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/12/n42645310/innoviz-bolsters-financial-position-with-approx-80m-through-multi-year-nre-payment-plan-with-key-c">bolster its financial position</a>. 
What Happened: Innoviz said it entered into a multi-year&nbsp;NRE&nbsp;(Non-Recurring Engineering services) payment plan of&nbsp;approximately $80 million&nbsp;with key existing customers. 
$40 million&nbsp;is expected to be paid in 2025 with further amounts expected in 2026 and 2027.&nbsp;Innoviz said the payments will be incremental to revenues generated from ongoing sales of&nbsp;LiDAR&nbsp;products based on existing and new orders.
&#8220;NREs are essential to strategically funding our operations and reaching the start of production for several customers in 2026, and with this plan with our key customers we are poised to start 2025 from a position of financial strength,&#8221; said Omer Keilaf, founder and CEO of Innoviz.

Innoviz said it will provide information regarding its 2025 outlook on its fourth quarter 2024 earnings call. The company is not reporting its quarterly earnings again until sometime in February. Analysts currently expect the company to report a loss of 14 cents per share and revenue of $5.86 million, according to estimates from <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>.
Innovix reported <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/earnings">third-quarter financial results</a> in November. The company ended the period with $87.7 million in total liquidity, consisting of cash and cash equivalents, bank deposits, marketable securities and short-term restricted cash.

Innoviz Technologies shares are trading higher after the company announced a multi-year Non-Recurring Engineering services payment plan of approximately $80 million with key existing customers.

Traws Pharma, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TRAW#NASDAQ">TRAW</a>) shares are rocketing on Monday after the company disclosed advancements in the development of its one-dose investigational treatment <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/12/n42643864/traws-pharma-announces-progress-in-developing-tivoxavir-marboxil-for-h5n1-bird-flu" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">for H5N1 bird flu, tivoxavir marboxil</a>.
The Phase 1 trial was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics (PK) of single-dose tivoxavir marboxil in healthy, influenza-negative adults.
Topline data revealed that a single dose maintained plasma drug levels above the EC90 for over 23 days, with results from a higher dose still pending.
Preclinical studies demonstrated that tivoxavir marboxil effectively inhibited drug-resistant influenza and highly pathogenic bird flu viruses both in vitro and in vivo. The company didn&#8217;t report any treatment-related adverse events.
Notably, the Type A H5N1 virus, first detected in U.S. dairy cattle in March 2024, has since spread to at least 866 herds across 16 states.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 60 people in eight states have been infected, with the first severe U.S. case confirmed in December 2024.
C. David Pauza, PhD, Chief Science Officer said, &#8220;In laboratory testing, tivoxavir marboxil inhibited multiple isolates of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1. We evaluated the effects of drug treatment in mice exposed to human H5N1, where the virus was isolated from a dairy worker exposed to infected cattle,&#8221;
&#8220;Oral treatment with tivoxavir marboxil after the virus infection resulted in complete survival and lung virus levels below the limit of quantitation1. This result is highly encouraging for future clinical development of tivoxavir marboxil for treating human H5N1 influenza.&#8221;

Elon Musk's DOGE Era: How Real Estate Could Be Different Under Trump's New Administration

In the current session, the stock is trading at $599.01, after a 2.35% increase. Over the past month, Meta Platforms Inc. A Look Into Meta Platforms Inc's Price Over Earnings

Deribit CEO Luuk Strijers has pointed to $84,000 as the &#8220;max pain&#8221; level for Bitcoin ahead of a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/money/options">significant December options</a> expiry, suggesting the market could be pulled down to this level before finding new equilibrium.
Strijers&#8217; analysis highlights the unique dynamics of the upcoming quarterly expiry, which accounts for 44% of all outstanding Bitcoin options, making it the largest options expiry this year.
"The max pain level is $84,000, which is the typical indication of where to expect this expiry to end up in normal market circumstances," Strijers told Benzinga about the upcoming Dec. 27 expiry. 
He explained that max pain levels, derived from the strike price where most open interest resides, often act as a gravitational pull on the market during major expiries.
Bitcoin is currently trading at $93,100 levels, down 2.5% over the last 24 hours. Ether (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/eth/usd">ETH</a>) is trading at $3,270, down 1% for the day.
Other major altcoins like Solana (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/sol/usd">SOL</a>), Dogecoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/doge/usd">DOGE</a>) and Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/shib/usd">SHIB</a>) are trading down 0.2%, 0.5% and 1.5%, respectively, according to data from CoinGecko.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Market Magnetism And Expiry Dynamics</h3>
Strijers noted that the large expiry, with $14 billion of Bitcoin options set to expire, could act as a &#8220;magnet,&#8221; drawing Bitcoin prices closer to the $84,000 level. 
"This large expiry might pull the market down toward $84,000, and after Friday morning, we might see a release moment for the market to rebalance or refine its new destination," he said.
The unusual size of in-the-money options adds to the complexity. 
Strijers revealed that $4.3 billion worth of Bitcoin options—approximately 30% of the total—are currently in-the-money, a figure significantly higher than usual. 
In the context of options trading, an option is considered in-the-money (ITM) when it has intrinsic value. 
For call options, this means the current market price of the underlying asset (in this case, Bitcoin) is higher than the strike price of the option. 
Conversely, for put options, it means the market price is below the strike price.
This elevated level of in-the-money options necessitates delta hedging, which could contribute to increased volatility during and after the expiry.
Delta hedging is a strategy where traders adjust positions in the underlying asset to neutralize risk from price changes, often amplifying market volatility during major options expiries.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Bullish Long-Term Sentiment Despite Short-Term Pressure</h3>
While Strijers acknowledged the possibility of a temporary correction pulling Bitcoin prices lower, he emphasized the long-term bullish sentiment in the market. 
"Market circumstances are rather bullish, and upside potential remains high. The next major expiry in March sees strikes as high as $120,000 or even $150,000," he said, pointing to the significant open interest in higher strike calls.
Strijers also highlighted that the put-call ratio stands at 0.44, indicating a stronger preference for calls, which is generally a bullish indicator. 
A put-call ratio of 0.44 means that the volume of put options (bets on price decreases) is significantly lower than the volume of call options (bets on price increases). This indicates a bullish market sentiment, as more traders are speculating on Bitcoin's price rising rather than falling.
Despite the short-term pullback, Strijers said, "The market is not bearish at all. It's still positioned in a positive way."

Arm Holdings Plc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ARM#NASDAQ">ARM</a>) shares are moving lower on Monday after a U.S. federal court reportedly found that QAULCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/QCOM#NASDAQ">QCOM</a>) did not breach Nuvia&#8216;s license agreement with the company, <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-12-20/qualcomm-wins-licensing-fight-with-arm-over-chip-designs">Bloomberg</a> reported on Friday.
The Details: The jury determined that Qualcomm&#8217;s chips are properly licensed under its agreement with Arm and concluded that Qualcomm did not violate the terms of its agreement by incorporating technology into its chips without paying a higher licensing rate. However, the jury could not unanimously determine if Nuvia breached its license agreement.
This verdict follows a legal battle in which Arm argued that Qualcomm and its subsidiary, Nuvia, required new agreements to continue using the company&#8217;s technology. Qualcomm, on the other hand, maintained that it held a broad, separate license for Arm's innovations that covered its operations.
Qualcomm relies on its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/10/41495038/whats-going-on-with-arm-holdings-shares-wednesday">licensing agreement</a> with Arm to integrate the company's technology into its chips. For instance, its partnership with major companies like Samsung relies on this technology to power their devices.
Since the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on whether Nuvia breached its license agreement, Arm expressed its interest in filing for a retrial and stated that it was disappointed that the jury did not reach a consensus on the claims.
Qualcomm said, "The jury has vindicated Qualcomm's right to innovate and affirmed that all the Qualcomm products at issue in the case are protected by Qualcomm's contract with Arm."

Named after the park where it was found, the Maryborough meteorite weighs 17 kilograms (about 37.5 pounds) and has been identified as an H5 ordinary chondrite. According to Museums Victoria, this means that it contains chondrules, which are tiny crystallized droplets of metallic minerals that formed during the early stages of the solar system.&nbsp;
Museums Victoria geologist Dermot Henry told The Sydney Morning Herald that the meteorite's sculpted, dimpled surface was formed as it burned through the Earth's atmosphere. Henry, who has examined thousands of suspected meteorites throughout his decades-long career, commented that only two of the rocks he's examined turned out to be real meteorites and this was one of them.&nbsp;

Researchers who have studied the meteorite determined its unique composition includes a high percentage of iron and other elements that can only be found in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/space/24/12/42612382/spacex-to-launch-2-more-private-astronaut-missions-to-iss">space</a>. According to Museums Victoria, the meteorite likely originated in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.&nbsp;
Carbon dating suggests that the Maryborough meteorite landed on Earth between 100 and 1,000 years ago. Historical records of meteor sightings near Maryborough, dating back to 1889, may provide clues about its arrival.&nbsp;
Meteorites like this offer invaluable insights into the formation and evolution of the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/05/38792088/expert-says-stunning-solar-activity-might-be-a-wake-up-call-for-earths-power-grids">solar system</a>.
