The company repurchased ~13.9 million shares for $2.3 billion in the quarter, including 11.7 million shares for $1.9 billion under the $15 billion repurchase program announced in March 2024.

What To Know: CrowdStrike shares fell 11% on Friday and another 13.5% on Monday as investors continued to dump shares after a CrowdStrike update at the end of last week led to a major outage that impacted businesses across the world.
CrowdStrike CEO&nbsp;George Kurtz&nbsp;said the outage was caused by &#8220;a defect found in a single content update,&#8221; confirming that it was not a security incident or cyberattack.&nbsp;
Baird analyst Shrenik Kothari maintained CrowdStrike with an <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings">Outperform</a> on Tuesday and lowered the price target from&nbsp;$350&nbsp;to&nbsp;$335. HSBC analyst Stephen Bersey downgraded CrowdStrike from Buy to Hold and lowered the price target from&nbsp;$388&nbsp;to&nbsp;$302.
The analysts join a growing group to weigh in on CrowdStrike stock following the IT outage. Several analysts have adjusted price targets in recent days ranging from $300 to $405. With the stock trading in the $260s, the selloff appears to be overdone from an analyst perspective, which may help explain some of the bounce back in shares Tuesday.

Salesforce reportedly cut around 300 roles to streamline operations, highlighting the tech industry's ongoing focus on cost control.

<a href="https://www.serverobotics.com/">Serve Robotics Inc.</a>&nbsp;("Serve") (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SERV#NASDAQ">SERV</a>), a leading autonomous delivery robotics company, today announced that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with a single institutional investor for the purchase and sale, in a private placement, of pre-funded warrants to purchase 2,500,000 shares of Serve's common stock (the "Common Stock"), together with a warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 2,500,000 shares of Common Stock at an exercise price of $6.00 per share. Each pre-funded warrant to purchase one share of Common Stock together with one $6.00 &nbsp;warrant to purchase one share of Common Stock is being sold at a purchase price of $6.00. The $6.00 warrants will have, will be exercisable upon issuance, and will expire five and a half years from the date of issuance.
Aegis Capital Corp. is acting as the exclusive placement agent for the offering. Orrick, Herrington &amp; Sutcliffe LLP served as counsel to the Company and Sichenzia Ross Ference Carmel LLP served as counsel to Aegis Capital Corp. for the private placement.
The offering is expected to close on or about July 24, 2024, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The gross proceeds to Serve Robotics from this offering are expected to be approximately $15.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other offering expenses.

The automaker reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $3.06 per share, beating estimates of $2.72 per share. 
&#8220;As I hope you can see from our results, our new products, the progress at Cruise and our higher guidance, we are making the most of every opportunity. It was truly a great first half. And we have the products, discipline and strategies to drive future success,&#8221; said Mary Barra, chair and CEO of GM.
GM raised its 2024 adjusted earnings guidance from a range of $9 to $10 per share to a new range of $9.50 to $10.50 per share versus estimates of $9.71 per share. 
GM raised its 2024 EBIT-adjusted&nbsp;guidance&nbsp;from&nbsp;a range of $12.5 billion to $14.5 billion&nbsp;to a new range of&nbsp;$13 billion to $15 billion. The company also raised its 2024 automotive operating cash flow guidance from a range of $18.3 billion to $21.3 billion to a new range of $19.2 billion to $22.2 billion. 
GM shares were up about 4.5% on the back of earnings at last check. GM and Ford are two of the biggest automakers in the United States.
