Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) has reportedly withdrawn its most secure cloud storage service, Advanced Data Protection (ADP), from the UK after the British government <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/global/25/02/43554574/apple-faces-mounting-pressure-from-uk-government-to-grant-spying-access-to-encrypted-data-of-users-worldwide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">demanded secret access to user data</a>.
The decision follows an order under the UK&#8217;s Investigatory Powers Act, which would have required Apple to provide a &#8220;backdoor&#8221; to iPhone backups and cloud data, enabling law enforcement to access information otherwise protected by encryption, The Financial Times reports.
The company stated that it could no longer offer ADP to new UK users, and current users would eventually be forced to disable the feature, the report further noted, citing a statement from Apple.
Since the service was introduced in December 2022, British Apple users had to opt in to benefit from the advanced security.

In early February, President Donald Trump approved a 25% tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada, which were eventually delayed after both countries took steps to curb the flow of drugs at their borders.
Additionally, Trump imposed a 10% tariff on Chinese imports, raised aluminum tariffs to 25%, and reinstated the full power of steel tariffs. These actions sparked worries about rising inflation, with inflation expectations for the next year jumping from 3.3% to 4.3%, while long-term inflation expectations increased from 3.2% to 3.5%.
Alongside the rise in inflation expectations, the consumer price index also showed an uptick, rising 3% year-over-year in January, up from 2.9% in December.
This marked the fourth consecutive month of inflation growth, The Hill adds.
The survey also revealed a partisan split in consumer sentiment. Both Democrats and independents saw a decline in sentiment, while Republicans&#8217; views remained largely unchanged.
Similarly, inflation expectations rose among Democrats and independents but fell slightly for Republicans.

What Happened:&nbsp;According to the report, Lazarus Group, a state-sponsored hacking organization from North Korea, is believed to have pilfered&nbsp;over $1.4 billion worth of&nbsp;Ethereum and related tokens from Bybit last Friday. 
This suspicion was drawn from on-chain data analysis that linked the activity to previous attacks associated with the Lazarus Group.
The link was established by an anonymous on-chain investigator known as ZachXBT, who has a history of solving numerous crypto hacks. His report included a detailed analysis of test transactions, connected wallets used before the exploit, and several forensic graphs and timing analyses, reports <a href="https://decrypt.co/307304/north-korea-lazarus-group-bybit-hack-arkham">reports</a> Decrypt.
Arkham Intelligence&nbsp;had previously announced a bounty of nearly $30,000 in ARKM tokens for information leading to the identification of the hackers behind the massive Bybit hack. The hack not only impacted Bybit but also sent shockwaves through the crypto markets.

An increasingly popular strategy in the world of exchange traded funds is for issuers to seed their new ETFs with internal capital. In the ETF space, size often begets size, so the strategy can prove effective in luring other investors to the fund.

That doesn&#39;t mean the issuer&#39;s capital stays in its ETFs forever. Just ask Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/GS#NYSE">GS</a>).

<h3>What Happened</h3>

The Goldman Sachs JUST U.S. Large Cap Equity ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/JUST#NYSE">JUST</a>), which debuted last June, is significantly lighter in the assets under management these days after Goldman pulled nearly $102 million from JUST when it became apparent the socially responsible fund could remain above the coveted $100 million in assets under management level without Goldman&#39;s seed capital.

&ldquo;Goldman Sachs has pulled its seed capital from the Goldman Sachs JUST U.S. Large Cap Equity ETF (JUST), slashing the fund&rsquo;s assets under management by nearly half,&rdquo; <a href="http://www.wsj.com/articles/goldman-sachs-pulls-seed-capital-from-just-etf-11552324942">The Wall Street Journal reports</a>, citing sources close to the matter.

<h3>Why It&#39;s Important</h3>

As of March 8, JUST had $109.57 million in assets under management, <a href="https://www.gsam.com/content/gsam/us/en/advisors/fund-center/etf-fund-finder/goldman-sachs-just-u-s--large-cap-equity-etf.html">according to Goldman data</a>. Data indicate <a href="https://www.etf.com/etfanalytics/etf-fund-flows-tool">$101.87 million</a> departed the fund for the week ended March 8. Those outflows expanded JUST&#39;s year-to-date departures to $105.67 million.

JUST follows the JUST U.S. Large Cap Diversified Index. That index &ldquo;provides market cap-weighted exposure to companies with above-average JUST scores based on the most recent rankings within each industry group; sector neutrality may contribute to a low tracking error,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.gsam.com/content/gsam/us/en/advisors/fund-center/etf-fund-finder/goldman-sachs-just-u-s--large-cap-equity-etf.html">according to Goldman Sachs Asset Management</a>.

When JUST debuted last June, it had what was at the time the best first day ever for a socially responsible ETF, hauling <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/just-takes-250m-first-day-230000483.html">in $250 million</a> in assets. That crown now belongs to the Xtrackers MSCI USA ESG Leaders Equity ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/USSG#NYSE">USSG</a>), which hauled in $846 million on its first day <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/long-ideas/19/03/13332209/a-new-force-among-esg-etfs">of trading last week</a>.

<h3>What&#39;s Next</h3>

Departures from JUST do not need to be viewed in a negative light. One way of looking at the outflows is that Goldman is hinting the fund is viable on its own. Year to date, JUST is up 10 percent, indicating its primary challenge may be beating broader benchmarks, such as the S&amp;P 500.

The index is designed to provide the broad market exposure of the Russell 1000 Index, while featuring only companies with above-average scores across all major social, environmental and governance issues critical to the American people,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180612005943/en/Goldman-Sachs-Asset-Management-Announces-Launch-Exchange-Traded">according to a statement </a>issued by GSAM and Just Capital. &ldquo;Historically, companies in the index on average pay better, create more jobs, pay fewer fines, give twice as much to charity, emit less greenhouse gas and have higher return on equity compared with the rest of the Russell 1000.&rdquo;
JUST allocates a combined 68.4 percent of its weight to the technology, financial services, consumer discretionary and health care sectors, a slight overweight to those sectors relative to the Russell 1000 Index.
Top 10 holdings in JUST include Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>), Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/AMZN#NASDAQ">AMZN</a>) and Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="/stock/MSFT#NASDAQ">MSFT</a>).

JUST debuted with over $50 million in seed capital and charges just 0.2 percent year, making it more than competitive with many existing ESG funds. Companies in JUST&#39;s underlying index typically have a return on equity that is 7 percent higher than the Russell 1000 members that are not in the Just Capital benchmark, according to GSAM.
The weighted average market value of JUST member firms is $234.66 billion.
