<li>Under the agreement, the parties will work together to install an initial 900 electric vehicle charge points in around 70 of M&amp;S&#39; national stores in the next two years.</li>
<li>The installation is anticipated to expand bp pulse&#39;s network, growing the U.K.&#39;s charging network and adding up to 40,000 kWhs of charging capacity to the U.K.&#39;s EV infrastructure.</li>
<li>In order to provide the appropriate speed for each need, a combination of ultra-fast (&ge;150kW) and rapid (&ge;50kW) charge points will be installed during the roll-out.</li>
<li>BP and M&amp;S first teamed up in 2005 to introduce M&amp;S Food stores at bp retail sites.</li>

As Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 96th birthday, Mattel Inc. (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/mat#NASDAQ">MAT</a>) has issued a new Barbie doll inspired by the British monarch.
What Happened: According to the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com">BBC</a>, the new doll is outfitted in an ivory gown with blue ribbon and accessorized with details from the monarch&rsquo;s life: she wears a re-creation of her wedding day tiara and pink and blue ribbons modeled after ones presented by her father, George VI, and her grandfather, George V.
The doll is being released today, in honor of the queen&rsquo;s birthday, and in conjunction with her Platinum Jubilee, which celebrates her 1952 ascension to the throne. The doll is available for a suggested retail price of $75.

What Else Happened: The Platinum Jubilee celebrations have generated a wealth of consumer products honoring the queen&rsquo;s seven decades as head of state.
In addition to the Barbie doll, other Platinum Jubilee products range from a $10.50 cotton tote bag from Marks &amp; Spencer Group ADR&nbsp;(OTC: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/maksy#OTC">MAKSY</a>)&nbsp;featuring the Royal Guard and a bagpiper along with the Queen&nbsp;to a $1,429 limited-edition, gold version of the commemorative jubilee-inspired 50-pence coin being sold by the Royal Mint and the Royal Mail ADR (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/roymy#OTC">ROYMY</a>).
The Royal Family is not selling any merchandise related to the jubilee, although it hosting special events including a &ldquo;Platinum Pudding Competition&rdquo; for British bakers to create a dessert for the queen&rsquo;s pleasure. Nearly 800 public events and more than 1,000 street parties are being planned across the U.K. for this celebration.

10 Weirdest Halloween Candies Of All Time: Trick Or Treat Or WTF?

The Gap Inc. (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/gps#NYSE">GPS</a>) has announced it will shut down all 81 of its stores in the UK and Ireland by the end of September and shift to an e-commerce retail strategy for those markets.
What Happened: The San Francisco-based company was founded in 1969 and opened its first store outside of the U.S. in London in 1987; it has been part of the Irish retail environment since 2006.
In announcing the closures, The Gap blamed &quot;market dynamics&quot; in the two countries for its decision and stated its departure from brick-and-mortar retailing would be conducted in a &quot;phased manner&quot; beginning at the end of August.
&quot;We are thoughtfully moving through the consultation process with our European team, and we will provide support and transition assistance for our colleagues as we look to wind down stores,&quot; said the company in a statement.

What Else Happened: The Gap is also planning to depart from brick-and-mortar retailing in France and Italy, but is currently in negotiations with other companies to take over those operations.
Closer to home, the company has been in the process of closing its Gap and Banana Republic stores across North America. But for U.K. shoppers, the company&#39;s departure is the latest in a growing skein of store closures involving several major retail chains including Marks &amp; Spencer Group ADR&nbsp;(OTC: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/maksy#OTC">MAKSY</a>), Debenhams and Laura Ashley.
