Orica Ltd (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/ocldy#OTC">OCLDY</a>) reported a 37% drop in its full-year net-profit. 

Orica's net profit for the year declined to 402.8 million Australian dollars (US$418.6 million), versus A$642.3 million, in the year-ago period.

Its net profit excluding impairment charges rose 1.2% to A$650.2 million.

Orica shares closed at $26.15 on Friday.

Orica Ltd (OTC: OCLDY) reported a drop in first-half net profit. 

Orica's net profit for the period fell to A$253.3 million, from A$263.8 million in the year-ago period. 

Its revenue for the half year climbed 10% to A$3.31 billion.

It also declared an interim dividend of 38 Australian cents per share, up from 37 cents per share last year.
