On Monday, Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TWST#NASDAQ">TWST</a>) reported a fourth-quarter loss per share of 59 cents, beating the&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">consensus loss of 70 cents</a>.
Twist Bioscience&nbsp;reported fourth-quarter sales of $84.71 million, up 27% year-over-year, beating the consensus of $82.2 million and the management guidance of&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/24/08/40132061/twist-bioscience-beats-q3-earnings-forecast-plans-to-achieve-50-gross-margin-by-fiscal-year-2025" rel="noreferrer noopener">$82 million–$83 million</a>.
The company shipped products to approximately 3,562 customers in fiscal 2024, compared to approximately 3,450 in 2023. Twist shipped approximately 772,000 genes in 2024 compared to approximately 634,000 genes a year ago.
Total <a href="https://investors.twistbioscience.com/static-files/8856a2ac-6031-4f11-a12e-5e169cb9621e" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">orders</a> received for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 grew 24% to $88.2 million compared to $71.1 million for the same period of fiscal 2023. Gross margin improved to 45.1%, up from 36.6% a year ago.
&#8220;As we head into fiscal 2025, we&#8217;re building on this momentum as we continue our final push toward achieving adjusted EBITDA breakeven while investing in research and development to deliver precision, efficiency and scalability in products and services that continue to generate profitable growth,&#8221; said&nbsp;Emily Leproust, CEO and co-founder of Twist Bioscience.
Adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024 was $(17.0) million compared to $(26.4) million for the same period of fiscal 2023
Guidance: Twist Bioscience expects fiscal year 2025 sales of $367 million &#8211; $377 million, up 17% &#8211; 20% year over year, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance">versus a consensus of $371.42 million.</a>
The guidance includes SynBio&#8217;s revenue guidance of approximately $142 million &#8211; $146 million, up 15% &#8211; 18%. NGS revenue of $204 million &#8211; $209 million, up 20% &#8211; 24%. Biopharma revenue is expected to be approximately $21 million &#8211; $22 million, up 5% &#8211; 8%.
The gross margin is projected to be approximately 48% for fiscal 2025, with quarterly sequential improvements and a 4QFY25 gross margin of 50%. Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $(60) million to $(65) million for fiscal 2025.
The company expects first-quarter 2025 sales of around $87 million compared to the consensus of $84.47 million.
SynBio&#8217;s revenue guidance of approximately $34 million, up 26% year over year. NGS revenue of $48 million, up 22%. Biopharma revenue is expected to be approximately $5 million. Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $(20) million with sequential improvements throughout 2025.

A Look Into Tyler Technologies Inc's Price Over Earnings

On Saturday, Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BSX#NYSE">BSX</a>) unveiled three-year primary endpoint results from the OPTION global clinical trial of the WATCHMAN FLX Left Atrial <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/n42024655/boston-scientific-watchman-flx-left-atrial-appendage-closure-device-demonstrates-superior-bleeding" rel="noreferrer noopener">Appendage Closure (LAAC) Device</a>.
The&nbsp;WATCHMAN implant device&nbsp;is about the size of a quarter and shaped like a parachute. It is <a target="_blank" href="https://www.beaumont.org/treatments/watchman#:~:text=The%20WATCHMAN%20implant%20device%20is,forming%20and%20causing%20a%20stroke." rel="noreferrer noopener">implanted</a> into the heart to close off the left atrial appendage, a blind pouch of heart tissue to prevent blood clots from forming and causing a stroke.
Key findings from the study comparing the device to first-line oral anticoagulation (OAC) – including direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC) (95%) and warfarin (5%) – for stroke risk reduction in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation following a cardiac ablation were presented at the American Heart Association&#8217;s Scientific Sessions 2024 and simultaneously <a href="https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2408308" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">published</a> in &#8220;The New England Journal of Medicine.&#8221;

The trial met the primary safety endpoint of non-procedural major bleeding or clinically relevant non-major bleeding at 36 months, with the WATCHMAN FLX device demonstrating superiority to OAC (8.5% vs.18.1%)
It also met the primary efficacy endpoint of all-cause death, stroke, or systemic embolism at 36 months, with the data showing non-inferiority of the device to OAC (5.4% vs. 5.8%).
Additional findings included non-inferiority of the WATCHMAN FLX device for the combined secondary endpoint of procedural and non-procedural major bleeding at 36 months (3.9% vs. 5.0%).
The OPTION trial included 1,600 patients.
In the trial, approximately 60% of device patients had their WATCHMAN FLX implant 90-180 days following their ablation procedure. The other nearly 40% of the device patients had the two procedures performed concomitantly, with the WATCHMAN FLX implant taking place after the ablation.
In addition to the OPTION trial, the WATCHMAN technology is being evaluated against DOAC as first-line therapy in lower-risk patients within the CHAMPION-AF randomized trial.
The latest-generation WATCHMAN FLX Pro LAAC Device was approved in the U.S. in 2023. It is similarly being studied in several clinical trials.

These updates allow parents to remotely manage their child's account, view their friends list, and set <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/gaming">limits on playtime.</a>
Starting today, Roblox is simplifying its content labeling system and restricting games and experiences available to children under nine by default. In the coming months, additional measures will limit users under 13 from directly messaging others outside games and restrict in-game communication to public messages only.

Roblox attributed the latter decision to "user behavior that can potentially pose a risk."
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ongoing Safety Concerns</h3>
Roblox has faced criticism over its handling of safety on the platform. A Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2024-roblox-pedophile-problem/">report </a>earlier this year revealed 13,316 instances of child exploitation reported by Roblox in 2023, with over two dozen arrests resulting from in-game interactions. 
In response, Roblox says it has consulted experts from organizations such as the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE) and the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) to develop these new safety features. 
The company noted that these updates stem from internal research involving surveys with parents and children and input from child safety organizations.

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Goldman Sachs On Ingram Micro Holding</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5a1c4e20efacff00015a984c/michael-ng">Analyst Michael Ng</a> initiated coverage with a Buy rating and price target of $33.
Ingram Micro among the largest IT solutions providers that works with vendors globally to cater to smaller markets, Ng said in his initiation note. The company has a broad portfolio of solutions and wide geographic footprint, he added.
"We expect INGM revenue growth to be directionally consistent with global IT spending and for margin expansion to be driven by operating leverage, automation investments in distribution centers, and its digital xVantage platform," the analyst wrote. 
The company is posed to achieve its target of over 30% free cash flow conversion, which should support its capital allocation priorities for tuck-in mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;As) and annual dividends, he further stated.

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">BofA Securities On Ingram Micro Holding</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/59411d2985b07a0001615cae/ruplu-bhattacharya">Analyst Ruplu Bhattacharya</a> initiated coverage with a Buy rating and price target of $30.
Bhattacharya said in his initiation note that each of Ingram Micro's business segments could generate year-on-year revenue growth over the next several years, along with margin expansion and growth in free cash flows.
Sales in the company's client and endpoint solutions business could grow in low single digits over the next few years, the analyst stated. "Advanced solutions segment revenues should also benefit from a rebound in networking after a period of inventory digestion and higher server demand (partly AI-related)," he further wrote.
