PNC returned&nbsp;$0.8 billion&nbsp;of capital to shareholders, comprising share repurchases over&nbsp;$0.1&nbsp;billion&nbsp;in the quarter.
The company expects the share repurchase activity for the fourth quarter of 2024 is expected to match recent quarterly averages.
