Uber Technologies (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/UBER#NYSE">UBER</a>) CEO&nbsp;Dara Khosrowshahi&nbsp;resigned from the board of autonomous vehicle technology company Aurora Innovation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AUR#NASDAQ">AUR</a>), effective Dec. 31, the latter said in a regulatory filing dated Friday. 
What Happened: The resignation was not a result of any disagreement between Khosrowshahi and the company regarding any matter relating to its operations, policies, or practices, Aurora said in the filing. Instead, the CEO now intends to focus on his responsibilities at Uber, it said.
&#8220;The Company and the entire Board are deeply grateful and appreciative of Mr. Khosrowshahi's service and his immense contributions to the Company over the years in his role as a member on the Board,&#8221; it said. 
The company also appointed Shailen Bhatt to its board as a director. Bhatt is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for AtkinsRéalis, an engineering, procurement, and construction services company, in the United States and Latin America.

Elon Musk&#8216;s rocket manufacturing company SpaceX is looking to deploy 10 model Starlink satellites during the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/12/42736150/spacex-ceo-says-starship-7th-test-flight-slated-for-jan-10">upcoming test flight</a> of its Starship launch vehicle in a bid to demonstrate its capabilities in the satellite launch segment, the company said on Friday.

While SpaceX has conducted 6 test flights of its ambitious launch vehicle to date, none of them carried any payload. The last test flight of Starship was in November. 
Other Aims For Upcoming Flight Test: For the upcoming flight, the company is also looking to catch the vehicle&#8217;s booster back at the launch pad at Starbase, Texas, with the launch tower&#8217;s metallic arms like on its fifth test flight in October. However, in case of any safety concerns, the company will splash it down in the Gulf of Mexico, it said.
Catching the booster of the two-stage vehicle as well as the spacecraft back at the launch tower at Starbase is an important demonstration of the vehicle's reusability.
The spacecraft, however, is slated to be splashed down in the Indian Ocean on the upcoming test.

Jeff Bezos Says 'Good Old Days' Are 'Such An Illusion' As Far As Planet Earth Is Concerned, But There's One Exception

Microsoft To Invest $80 Billion In AI Data Centers For Fiscal 2025

Dearborn-based Ford Motor Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/F#NYSE">F</a>) sold 30,176 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter in the U.S., taking its EV sales for the whole year to 97,865 units. 
What Happened: While Ford&#8217;s annual EV sales in the U.S. couldn&#8217;t breach the 100,000 mark, it still marks a 35% increase from its EV sales in 2023.
Ford has only three EVs on sale in the U.S. as of today- the Mustang Mach-E SUV, the F-150 Lightning pickup, and the E-transit van. 
The Mustang Mach-E was the best-selling EV in the fourth quarter of 2024, followed by the company&#8217;s electric pickup. In fact, the electric SUV was the company&#8217;s best-selling EV in <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/10/41179283/fords-us-ev-sales-gather-pace-in-q3-even-as-its-best-seller-mustang-mach-e-suv-slows-down">all four quarters of 2024</a>.
Ford sold 51,745 Mach-E SUVs across the last four quarters, marking a growth of 27% year-on-year. F-150 Lightning sales rose 39% to 33,510 units and the E-Transit a whopping 64% to 12,610 units in the period.
