Cboe To Launch Cash-Settled Bitcoin Index Options

In a recent interview, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NVDA#NASDAQ">NVDA</a>) CEO Jensen Huang shared his thoughts on the company's focus on supply as demand remains "incredible," a development that was a big topic in the company's <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/42099904/nvidia-q3-earnings-highlights">recent financial results.</a>
What Happened: Although Nvidia stock has dipped since its third-quarter results, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-ratings/analyst-color/24/11/42119226/nvidia-analysts-see-stock-best-positioned-in-ai-not-worried-about-guidance-all-systems-go-for-blackwell-ramp">analysts remain unfazed</a>, pointing to surging demand for Blackwell chips.
During an appearance on Fox Business Network's "The Claman Countdown," Huang was asked about the problem many CEOs would love to have of demand being greater than supply.
"Hopper and Blackwell are two just magnificent computing systems," Huang <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/video/6365013367112">said</a>.
Huang said demand is strong for data centers to get their hands on Blackwell chips.
"We're going to go from zero billion dollars of Blackwell to many billions of dollars of Blackwell. And so, it's going to be an incredible thing. But the demand is just incredible."
During the interview, Huang was asked about the large number of customers and big-name customers who have placed orders and the process for determining which customers get their Blackwell chips first.
"We try to be fair with everyone so that they can all get their AI infrastructure up and running. We also make sure that their infrastructure is ready. And so, between us and them, there's no sense shipping computers if the data center and the power and the readiness of the system is not there," Huang said.
Huang highlighted Alphabet, Dell and CoreWeave as companies who have expressed their optimism. "Everybody's really proud of the system they've stood up and we're all just racing to get there."
Huang said Nvidia does pricing "based on the value delivered."
"In a lot of ways, it's kind of like generating electricity in the last industrial revolution, and there are all this machinery, these large machinery called A.C. generators, and they produce electricity. We're now producing this miracle called artificial intelligence."

What's Next: Huang said the company is "in good shape" and confident in its Blackwell production ramp.
"Our demand is greater than our supply. And so, we need to get more out," Huang said.
Huang said Nvidia is working with thousands of AI native companies and it's hard to have infrastructure available for all of them.
"We're working super hard to get there as fast as we can, which is the reason why we're ramping Blackwell so hard."
Nvidia's success comes largely in the United States, Huang added. The CEO sees an opportunity to continue to expand to other countries.
"Over time and very quickly, whether it's in the west or in the east, we're going to see just about every single country jumping onto this A.I. revolution, this age of A.I."
Huang brushed off concerns that AI will take over the world and take all the jobs.
"AI can do a lot of tasks, but they can't do 100% of our jobs. That's the big idea."
Huang said AI is going to revolutionize and transform jobs and it's important that people learn how to use AI.
"What is very likely is that AI will do 20, 30, 40% of 100% of the jobs in the world."
NVDA Price Action: Nvidia stock is down 3% to $142.10 on Friday versus a 52-week trading range of $45.01 to $152.89. Nvidia stock is up 195% year-to-date, but has fallen 1% over the last month.

NetApp, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/NTAP#NASDAQ">NTAP</a>) reported better-than-expected second-quarter results on Thursday.
NetApp reported quarterly earnings of $1.87 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.78. Quarterly revenue came in at $1.65 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.64 billion and is an increase over revenue of $1.56 billion from the same period last year.
"Our strong Q2 performance was driven by another record-breaking quarter in all-flash storage and strong performance in first party and marketplace cloud storage services," said George Kurian, CEO of NetApp. "Broad-based customer preference for our intelligent data infrastructure platform and visionary approach for a data-driven future has enabled us to outgrow the market and take share from competitors. Our focus and momentum fuel my confidence in our ability to deliver outstanding results for customers and shareholders."
The company said it sees FY25 revenue of $6.54 billion to $6.74 billion and GAAP earnings of $5.48 to $5.68 per share, with non-GAAP EPS of $7.20 to $7.40.
NetApp shares fell 3.3% to trade at $122.46 on Friday.
These analysts made changes to their price targets on NetApp following earnings announcement.

NetApp Analysts Raise Their Forecasts After Strong Earnings

ASGN shares are trading higher after BMO Capital upgraded the stock from Market Perform to Outperform and raised its price target from $96 to $100.

Cannabis company LEEF Brands, Inc. (OTCQB:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/LEEEF#OTCQB">LEEEF</a>) completed its 10-for-1 share consolidation of its common shares. The consolidation is now in effect, and the common shares are trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange and the OTCQB on a post-consolidation basis
In connection with the consolidation, the company's ticker symbol on the OTCQB has temporarily changed to LEEED. This adjustment will remain in effect for 21 days following the date of the consolidation, after which the company's ticker symbol on the OTCQB will revert to LEEEF. The company acknowledges any inconvenience this temporary change may cause and appreciates shareholders' understanding during this transition period.

Concurrent with the consolidation, LEEF Brands <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/24/10/41629418/marijuana-company-leef-brands-consolidates-shares-launches-1-8m-private-placement-to-fuel-expans">previously announced</a> a private placement to raise gross proceeds of up to CA$2.5 million through the issuance of up to 10 million units. Each unit will be priced at $0.25 (post-consolidation) and will consist of one common share and one common share purchase warrant.
Earlier this month, the company reported its financial results for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2024, with <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/24/11/41938603/leef-brands-cannabis-co-reports-revenue-growth-higher-operating-expenses-in-q3">revenue of $6.76 million</a> compared to $5.67 million for the same period last year.

Investors can gain an edge by knowing money flows in SPY and QQQ.  Investors can get a bigger edge by knowing when smart money is buying stocks, gold, and oil.  The most popular ETF for gold is SPDR Gold Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GLD#NYSE">GLD</a>).  The most popular ETF for silver is iShares Silver Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SLV#NYSE">SLV</a>).  The most popular ETF for oil is United States Oil ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/USO#NYSE">USO</a>).
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Bitcoin</h3>
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) is approaching $100K. SEC Chair Gensler has said that he will resign on Trump's inauguration day.&nbsp; Gensler has been anti-bitcoin.&nbsp; Even though Gensler's resignation was expected, as Trump has said he would replace Gensler, buying came into bitcoin on the news.&nbsp;&nbsp;
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Protection Band And What To Do Now</h3>
It is important for investors to look ahead and not in the rearview mirror.&nbsp; The proprietary protection band from The Arora Report is very popular.&nbsp; The protection band puts all of the data, all of the indicators, all of the news, all of the crosscurrents, all of the models, and all of the analysis in an analytical framework that is easily actionable by investors.&nbsp;
Consider continuing to hold good, very long term, existing positions. Based on individual risk preference, consider a protection band consisting of cash or Treasury bills or short-term tactical trades as well as short to medium term hedges and short term hedges. This is a good way to protect yourself and participate in the upside at the same time.
You can determine your protection bands by adding cash to hedges.&nbsp; The high band of the protection is appropriate for those who are older or conservative. The low band of the protection is appropriate for those who are younger or aggressive.&nbsp; If you do not hedge, the total cash level should be more than stated above but significantly less than cash plus hedges.
A protection band of 0% would be very bullish and would indicate full investment with 0% in cash.&nbsp; A protection band of 100% would be very bearish and would indicate a need for aggressive protection with cash and hedges or aggressive short selling.
It is worth reminding that you cannot take advantage of new upcoming opportunities if you are not holding enough cash.&nbsp; When adjusting hedge levels, consider adjusting partial stop quantities for stock positions (non ETF); consider using wider stops on remaining quantities and also allowing more room for high beta stocks.&nbsp; High beta stocks are the ones that move more than the market.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Traditional 60/40 Portfolio</h3>
Probability based risk reward adjusted for inflation does not favor long duration strategic bond allocation at this time.
Those who want to stick to traditional 60% allocation to stocks and 40% to bonds may consider focusing on only high quality bonds and bonds of five year duration or less.&nbsp; Those willing to bring sophistication to their investing may consider using bond ETFs as tactical positions and not strategic positions at this time.
