Pursuit Dynamics Posts Wider H1 Loss

Gaming Realms plc (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/psdmf#OTC">PSDMF</a>), the developer and licensor of mobile focused gambling games, is pleased to announce that it has signed a 3-year agreement with Scientific Games' Digital Group (NASDAQ: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/sgms#NASDAQ">SGMS</a>) for the distribution of the Slingo Originals portfolio via SG Digital's opening gaming system platform ("OGS").
Under the terms of the agreement, all 29 Slingo Originals games, with more expected to launch throughout 2019, will be distributed to over 200 operators globally via SG Digital's OGS, one of the industry's largest content aggregation platforms.
Patrick Southon, Chief Executive of Gaming Realms, said: "This agreement marks the continuation of the close partnership we have with SG Digital, having previously worked together successfully on the development and distribution of exciting games such as Slingo Rainbow Riches.

Gaming Realms Signs Global Distribution Deal with Scientific Games

Pursuit Dynamics PLC (OTC: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/psdmf#OTC">PSDMF</a>) posted a wider pretax loss for the first half of the year.

Its revenue for the six months to March 31 rose to GBP483,771, from GBP104,700, in the year-ago period. Its pretax loss came in at GBP7.8 million, versus a year-ago loss of GBP7.2 million. 

Pursuit Dynamics' diluted loss per share came in at 10.21 pence, versus a year-ago loss of 10.21 pence.

Pursuit Dynamics shares closed at $0.17 yesterday.

According to research firm Newzoo, the global esports market will generate over $1 billion in revenue this year, and nearly 475 million people will be involved in esports in some way.&nbsp;

&ldquo;We believe that video gaming and esports represent a structural long-term growth trend, which equates to growth that&rsquo;s being supported by other trends and has the potential to keep growing for an extended period of time,&rdquo; said John Patrick Lee, ETF Product Manager at VanEck.&nbsp;

One of the biggest trends, according to Lee, is the growth of mobile gaming, which is the fastest-growing segment of the esports and gaming industry.&nbsp;

Investors are likely familiar with some of the largest esports companies. But what they may not realize is there are many other companies well-positioned to capitalize on the growth of the industry.&nbsp;

&ldquo;In some ways, the companies trading on OTC Markets are capturing some of the most exciting themes that are driving the industry. Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ATVI#NASDAQ">ATVI</a>) is a successful company that&rsquo;s firing on all cylinders, but it&rsquo;s important to keep in mind that it&rsquo;s also a big multi-billion dollar company. On the other hand, earlier stage companies like those trading on OTC may have the potential for higher growth, as these are generally younger companies in a different part of their life cycle when compared to a large or mega-cap company,&rdquo; Lee told Benzinga.&nbsp;
