What Happened: In his latest podcast <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGVqoX_K7kg">update</a>, Cowen acknowledged he was correct in predicting Solana would drop below $10 in 2022 but admits he didn&#8217;t anticipate its subsequent 500% surge against Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>). He attributes this to his focus on Bitcoin dominance, which he expected to rise from 38% to 60% before altcoins outperformed. Coinmarketcap data shows Bitcoin dominance currently at 56%.
While Solana has rallied significantly, Cowen noted it hasn&#8217;t yet reached new all-time highs against Bitcoin, unlike some other altcoins in previous cycles.
He drew parallels between Solana's current pattern and Ethereum&#8217;s (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/eth/usd">ETH</a>) behaviour in past market cycles, suggesting Solana could follow a similar consolidation and correction path.
Cowen emphasized the importance of considering market cap valuations rather than just price, pointing out that Solana&#8217;s market cap relative to Bitcoin is near its 2021 peak. He speculated that macroeconomic factors, particularly the yield curve inversion, could trigger a pullback in Solana&#8217;s Bitcoin valuation.

NBI-&#8216;568 is the first investigational, oral, muscarinic M4 <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/nbix" rel="noreferrer noopener">selective agonist</a>.
The new data showed that the once-daily 20 mg dose of NBI-&#8216;568 induced an average 18.2-point reduction from baseline in the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) after six weeks, compared to 10.8 points in the placebo group.

William Blair notes that while this effect size is in line with what was demonstrated by Bristol Myers Squibb&nbsp;Co (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BMY#NYSE">BMY</a>)&nbsp;acquired Karuna&#8217;s KarXT, the 7.5 delta versus placebo is lower than the 11.6 difference in the Phase 3 EMERGENT-2 study.
It was also lower than the 0.75 effect size and 11.6-point delta from placebo from the EMERGENT-1 Phase 2 study and the 12.7-point and 11.1-point improvement over placebo with AbbVie Inc&#8217;s (formerly Cerevel&#8217;s) (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ABBV#NYSE">ABBV</a>) emraclidine.
&#8220;We do highlight that the placebo improvement of 10.8 points is greater than what was seen in prior Phase II studies of KarXT and emraclidine, which is unsurprising given potential expectation bias around a more well-validated mechanism and is more in line with prior studies of antipsychotics historically,&#8221; William Blair analyst adds.

That's a big chunk of his estimated $4.3 billion net worth. Until now, he hasn't been able to sell these shares because of a lockup agreement – a rule that prevents company insiders from selling their stock right after the company goes public. But that restriction is set to end in late September.

If Trump decides to sell, it could have major consequences. For one, the stock price might plummet. Financial experts are already worried that if Trump dumps his shares, there might not be enough buyers willing to snap them up, which could cause the stock to drop even more.&nbsp;
As Steve Sosnick, Chief Strategist at <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/money/interactive-brokers-review">Interactive Brokers</a>, pointed out, the overall stock market has been doing well, but Trump Media&#8217;s stock <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/government/24/08/40464675/whats-going-on-with-trump-media-tech-stock-on-tuesday">has been trending downward.</a> It closed at $21.42 recently, its lowest since going public. "The rising tide hasn't lifted that boat," he said.

According to its latest earnings report, the company is having a tough time financially, losing over $16 million in just three months. It&#8217;s clear to almost everyone that Trump Media&#8217;s future depends on the 2024 election. If Trump wins the election, that alone could boost the company's stock and do a complete 180.
Investors are worried that Trump might sell his shares to cover his growing legal bills or fund his campaign. But selling such a large stake could flood the market with too many shares, pushing the price down further. What Happened: Under the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/movers-shakers/21/08/17298128/warren-buffett-turns-91-a-highlight-for-each-decade-of-his-life-1">long-time leadership</a> of Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway has reached the $1 trillion mark, with shares up 28% year-to-date in 2024.
The stock is one of eight companies to currently be valued at $1 trillion or more. Berkshire Hathaway is also the first U.S. based non-technology company to pass the milestone.

At the time of writing, Taiwan Semiconductor and Eli Lilly are closest to hitting the milestone, with both companies worth over $800 billion. Eli Lilly won the poll with a near majority of the five selections. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ranked second with a quarter of the vote.
Broadcom, which has the next highest market capitalization at $743 billion, ranked fourth. Tesla ranked third, despite having a lower market capitalization of $665 billion. Walmart, which has a market capitalization of $610 billion, finished fifth in the poll.

Meta Platforms, which was a past member of the $1 trillion market capitalization before falling out, re-joined the club earlier this year.

Ranking second was Taiwan Semiconductor. While neither of those companies has hit the $1 trillion market cap level since then, the third and fourth place finishers in Meta at 15% and Berkshire at 12.9% are now both members.
This just goes to show that the market can be unpredictable.
Berkshire Hathaway has posted impressive gains over the years under Buffett's leadership, and the company&#8217;s ownership of key brands alongside a stock portfolio that includes Apple and other blue chip stocks.
