"At the end of the day, when a decision is made, he expects his team to execute. And President Trump has made a decision where he is in this space, and it's incumbent on those who go work for him to know that's what he wants to execute, and they're going to execute," Lanza said.
&#8220;Are there going to be obstacles? There's always obstacles in everything, right?" he said, adding that there are "obviously coalitions that are going to be against this." Lanza mentioned big Pharma as one of them.
Trump's potential support for reforms could influence Congress to act on measures such as banking protections for cannabis businesses. Yet, Lanza remains skeptical about achieving full legalization. "Four years is not long enough to accomplish all the goals we need to do in the cannabis space," he said while suggesting that a unified front is the best way to achieve progress.

Looking Into Sony Gr's Recent Short Interest

Linkers Industries Shares Halted To The Downside; Stock Now Down -35.56%

Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller recently made a big investment in Broadcom (AVGO), <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/12/42659876/stanley-druckenmiller-pours-funds-into-1-trillion-company-already-trading-up-100?adt_ei=%7B%7Bemail%7D%7D&amp;he=%7B%7Bemail%7D%7D">increasing his stake to 239,980 shares</a>.&nbsp;
That stake, up 35% since September, is worth almost $56 million, one of the largest holdings in Druckenmiller&#8217;s private family fund. Now, Broadcom shares have surged almost 70% recently, so the stock is probably due for a breather.
But Druckenmiller&#8217;s big bet suggests there&#8217;s plenty of upside potential left.
I anticipate some consolidation into January and perhaps even February before the stock makes its next big move. That&#8217;s why the trade to make on Broadcom in the near term is a short iron condor.
Let me show you.
The short iron condor is a combination of a short call spread and a short put spread – a trade that sells premium on both the lower and upper bounds of price under the notion that prices remain rangebound in consolidation of strength.
As a result, the position loses the value we collected for selling it, and we are able to buy it back at a cheaper cost and keep the difference as profit for holding the spreads over time.&nbsp;
Here&#8217;s the trade structure I&#8217;m looking at:
<ul>
<li>Sell to open 1 AVGO 17 Jan 260 calls </li>
<li>Buy to open 1 AVGO 17 Jan 265 calls </li>
<li>Buy to open 1 AVGO 17 Jan 220 puts </li>
<li>Sell to open 1 AVGO 17 Jan 215 puts </li>
</ul>
At this writing, the credit collected is $1.67 and this number represents the total profit for the position.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The reason I chose these particular strikes is because of AVGO&#8217;s support and resistance levels. The relative resistance zone currently sits right around $250, and from here we should consolidate (move around within a range of price for a period of time). The relative support is near $225.
This strategy provides four outcomes to exit the trade:&nbsp;
<ol>
<li>Buy back the iron condor as its value erodes – I like to collect 50% of the original collected premium, in general. </li>
<li>Buy back the iron condor within ten days of expiration, especially if there is no movement in price. </li>
<li>If the prices spike above the short strikes (in this case, above $260 or below $220) for more than 3 days: exit the position, irrespective of where profits sit. </li>
<li>Buy back the iron condor if it moves above your threshold for loss – usually between 35%-50% above the collected premium.</li>

In addition to his nonprofit work and luxury watches, Zuckerberg recently clarified rumors surrounding a supposed <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/startups/24/01/36720135/mark-zuckerberg-spent-187-million-secretly-buying-1-600-acres-of-hawaii-land-and-now-he-is-reportedl">massive bunker</a> on his Hawaii compound. In an interview with Bloomberg, he addressed a WIRED report that suggested he was building a 5,000-square-foot bunker under his Kauai property.
"That's just like a little shelter," Zuckerberg said. "Whatever you want to call it, hurricane shelter, whatever. I think it got like, blown out of proportion as if like the whole ranch was some kind of doomsday bunker, which is just not true."

Revenue totaled $7 million for the period, down from $8.4 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2023. The company attributed a 17% year-over-year decline to a decrease in revenue in the CBD segment.

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Q2 2024 Financial Results</h3>



<ul>
<li>Gross profit amounted to $3.3 million (or 47% gross margin percentage) compared to gross profit of $1.8 million for the three months ended June 30, 2023.</li>



<li>Operating costs totaled $4.1 million, representing an increase of $0.8 million (or 24%), compared to $3.3 million for the three months ended June 30, 2023.</li>



<li>Adjusted EBITDA came in positive at $0.3 million from continuing operations, representing a $0.7 million improvement over the positive adjusted EBITDA achieved in the comparable period in 2023.</li>



<li>The net loss from continuing operations was $7.1 million compared to a net loss of $2.7 million for the three months that ended on June 30, 2023.</li>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Leadership And Executive Changes</h3>



During the second quarter, Better announced the additions of Erica Groussman, Brock Bundy and St. John Walshe to its board of directors.



On July 11, the company announced J.R. Kingsley Ward has become SBBC&#8217;s permanent CEO in addition to his role as chairman of the SBBC board of directors after successfully leading the company through a period of transition and growth since February 2024 as interim CEO.

<li>Net loss was $0.6 million for the third quarter of 2023, which decreased by $5.7 million over the loss in the same period of last year.</li>



<li>Adjusted EBITDA was a positive $0.1 million for Q3 2023, a $2.5 million improvement over the loss incurred in the second quarter of 2023 and an increase of $0.1 million compared to the same period in 2022.</li>



<li>Gross profit for Q3 2023 was $12.7 million, an increase compared to $8.8 million in Q3 2022.</li>

The company&#8217;s strategic brands, including TRUBAR, No B.S. Skincare, PureKana, and Vibez Wellness, all contributed to this growth:

<li>TRUBAR, the protein bar brand, expanded its presence in major retailers such as Costco and BJ&#8217;s Wholesale, contributing to a forecasted revenue of over $30 million in 2023, a substantial increase from $10 million in 2022.</li>



<li>PureKana Wellness, known for its plant-based <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/23/03/31416983/simply-better-brands-purekana-launches-a-line-of-cbd-based-products-for-dogs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">products</a>, added over 60,443 customers during the quarter and ventured into the pet wellness market, tapping into a substantial growth opportunity.</li>
