SIA Engineering Co Ltd and its subsidiaries maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft for many airlines. The company is organized into two segments: airframe/line maintenance and engine/component. The airframe and line maintenance segment provides airframe maintenance, line maintenance, and inventory technical management. These services include scheduled routine maintenance and overhaul, specialised and non-routine maintenance, modification and refurbishment programmes. Line maintenance provides aircraft certification and technical ground handling services such as pushback and towing, and the provision of aircraft ground support equipment and rectification work. The engine and component segment provides component overhaul and engine repair and overhaul services.

US stock futures traded mostly flat in early pre-market trade. The Federal Open Market Committee will issue minutes of its latest meeting at 2:00 p.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 5 points to 16,855.00, while the Standard &amp; Poor's 500 index futures rose 0.30 points to 1,960.70. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index gained 2 points to 3,865.25.

European markets were lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index dropping 0.06%, STOXX Europe 600 Index declining 0.31%. German DAX 30 index fell 0.04%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.07% and London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.56%.
In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 0.08%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index declined 1.55%, China's Shanghai Composite Index tumbled 1.23% and India's BSE Sensex dipped 0.54%. China's consumer price index rose 2.3% y/y in June, while the producer price index declined 1.1% y/y in June.
Broker Recommendation
Analysts at HSBC upgraded Schlumberger NV (NYSE: <a class="ticker" href="/stock/slb#NYSE">SLB</a>) from “neutral” to “overweight.” The target price for Schlumberger has been raised from $105 to $135.
