<p>There are ample opportunities among undiscovered <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a> because there are two ways that shares can move higher. <h2>Butler National (BUKS)</h2>

<p><strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>) is an obscure stock I&rsquo;ve discussed before in past coverage of penny stocks. While primarily an aerospace products and services company, Butler also owns a casino (Boot Hill) in Dodge City, Kansas.</p>



<p>As I argued last October, the primary appeal with BUKS stock is its <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/10/these-7-penny-stocks-could-triple-your-investment-in-a-decade/">low valuation, coupled with recent developments that could help shake off its &ldquo;value trap&rdquo; status</a>. Shares are sold for just 7.7 times forward earnings. Stocks in both aerospace and gaming, which are comparable, trade at multiples of at least double this figure.</p>



<p>Even if the company does not get bought out, something else could serve as a catalyst. Last year&rsquo;s management changes are set to both reduce overhead expenses, and perhaps result in the company making other moves (such as a stock market up-listing, or a spin-off of the casino business) that may help Butler escape obscurity, and to unlock shareholder value.</p>



<h2>California Nanotechnologies (CANOF)</h2>

<p><strong>California Nanotechnologies</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/canof-stock-quote/"><strong>CANOF</strong></a>), also known as Calnano, is a provider of nanocrystalline materials for R&amp;D and industrial use. The company&rsquo;s shares have taken off in the past year (rising by more than 160%), but price discovery may not be over just yet.</p>



<p>Despite the significant increase in CANOF stock, it still trades at a reasonable valuation (11.7 times earnings). More importantly, as seen in Calnano&rsquo;s recent investor presentation, expected growth for one of the company&rsquo;s key markets (<a href="https://www.calnanocorp.com/Cal-Nano-Q3-2024-Investor-Presentation.pdf">the spark plasma sintering market</a>), suggests that a high level of growth may continue.</p>



<p>With this, CANOF may be well-positioned to both rise in line with earnings growth, as well as experience an expansion of its earnings multiple. In time, Calnano (which also trades in Canada on the <strong>TSX Venture</strong> exchange) could decide to move its U.S. stock market listing from the OTC market, to a major exchange.</p>



<h2>Comstock Holding (CHCI)</h2>

<p>Investors looking to make a contrarian wager on commercial real estate have many choices, but one they may want to consider is <strong>Comstock Holding</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/chci-stock-quote/"><strong>CHCI</strong></a>). </p>



<p>Originally in the homebuilding business, in more recent years Comstock has become a commercial property management firm, managing primarily mixed-use developments in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.</p>



<p>CHCI stock has held steady, despite the continued worries about whether the commercial real estate market downturn will worsen or stabilize from here. This share price steadiness more than makes sense. Comstock&rsquo;s <a href="https://ir.comstock.com/news/news-details/2023/Comstock-Reports-Third-Quarter-2023-Results/default.aspx">revenue and earnings</a> keep growing, as seen from the company&rsquo;s Q3 2023 results.</p>



<p>Still, the market still seems to ignore this, assigning CHCI a valuation (6.7 times earnings) well below that of other publicly-traded property management companies (which trades for 10-15 times earnings). Greater awareness of Comstock, plus normalization of conditions in the commercial property space, could help to bridge this valuation gap.</p>



<h2>Greystone Logistics (GLGI)</h2>

<p><strong>Greystone Logistics</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/glgi-stock-quote/"><strong>GLGI</strong></a>) may be up by 150% over the past year, but it&rsquo;s arguably still one of the undiscovered penny stocks. At least, based on this plastic pallet manufacturer&rsquo;s current valuation. </p>



<p>Yes, it is misleading to use the company&rsquo;s trailing twelve month earnings to value the stock.</p>



<p>Greystone&rsquo;s earnings last year were skewed by a one-time event (<a href="https://compliance-sec.com/secfilings/company/glgi/link_files/2023/08-28-2023/Form10-K(08-28-2023)GreystoneLogistics/Form10-K.pdf">the receipt of a massive pandemic-related refundable tax credit</a>). However, based on more recent results, such as <a href="https://compliance-sec.com/secfilings/company/glgi/link_files/2024/01-16-2024/Form10-Q(01-16-2024)GreystoneLogistics/Form10-Q.pdf">earnings of 3 cents per share</a> last quarter, it&rsquo;s clear cooling inflation and rebounding demand are helping to improve margins.</p>



<p>If this keeps playing out, GLGI stock could rise, as it becomes clear that the company is once again consistently-profitable thanks to its operating business, not because of tax credits. This could result in a re-rating, enabling this already strong-performing penny stock to add to its gains.</p>



<h2>Mama&rsquo;s Creations (MAMA)</h2>

<p>Admittedly, it may be a stretch to call <strong>Mama&rsquo;s Creations</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/mama-stock-quote/"><strong>MAMA</strong></a>) shares undiscovered. </p>



<p>In recent years, this purveyor of &ldquo;heat and serve&rdquo; foods has already experienced a high level of growth, as well as an outsized amount of price appreciation for its formerly OTC-listed, now NASDAQ-listed shares.</p>



<p>As recently as late 2022, MAMA stock traded for just over $1 per share. Today, it trades for $4.50 per share. Yet while the stock is up by a tremendous amount already, the potential is still there for shares to keep growing at a slower but still above-average pace.</p>



<p>Per sell-side forecasts, earnings could grow by as much as <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MAMA/earnings">43.75%</a> this fiscal year (ending January 2025). While priced already like a growth stock at 26.7 times forward earnings, continued growth could help sustain this valuation, with shares moving higher in tandem with increased earnings.</p>



<h2>Power Solutions International (PSIX)</h2>

<p>If searching for deep value plays among undiscovered penny stocks, consider <strong>Power Solutions International</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/psix-stock-quote/"><strong>PSIX</strong></a>). Shares in this manufacturer of engines and power systems trade for only 2 times forward earnings.</p>



<p>Yes, there&rsquo;s somewhat of a rationale for the super-low valuation of PSIX stock. As InvestorPlace&rsquo;s Omor Ibne Ehsan discussed last November, Power Solutions International has <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/11/buy-alert-analysts-say-these-3-growth-stocks-could-double-in-2024/">in the past been unprofitable</a>, reporting high levels of cash burn. This may mean investors are still skeptical about future operating performance.</p>



<p>Power Solutions could continue to handily beat expectations with subsequent quarterly results. Sell side forecasts call for earnings of <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PSIX/earnings">$1.22</a> per share during 2024. This may only represent 14% earnings growth compared to 2023. </p>



<p>However, as this would also signal that the company has achieved consistent profitability, this may assuage investor concerns, resulting in (as Ehsan also argued previously), a major re-rating to the upside for shares.</p>



<h2>Vaso (VASO)</h2>

<p>At the same time I &ldquo;discovered&rdquo; ELTP, I also discovered medical technology company <strong>Vaso</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/vaso-stock-quote/"><strong>VASO</strong></a>). Since then, many other investors have discovered it as well. </p>



<p>This, plus enormous improvements in Vaso&rsquo;s profitability, have resulted in a high amount of price appreciation for shares.</p>



<p>Trading for just over a dime in 2022, VASO stock today trades for around 28 cents per share. However, even after this big run-up, don&rsquo;t assume you have missed the boat. In fact, Vaso could pretty soon become even more greatly followed by the market.</p>



<p>How? Back in December, the company announced <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/vaso-corporation-a-diversified-medical-technology-company-currently-trading-on-the-otcqx-market-to-list-on-nasdaq-via-spac-merger-302009376.html">plans to merge</a> with special purpose acquisition company (or SPAC) <strong>Achari Ventures Holdings Corp I</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/avhi-stock-quote/"><strong>AVHI</strong></a>). </p>



<p>Merging with Achari, in effect a market uplisting and reverse split, could bring about a fresh wave of price discovery. Trading for just 4 times earnings, shares could receive a big re-rating after the SPAC merger closes.</p>

7 Undiscovered Penny Stocks Poised for Meteoric Rises

<p>Speculative <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a>, or risky stocks trading for $5 per share or less, can produce big gains, but they can also lead to big losses. As such, not only is position-sizing key. It is imperative to select names in this category that offer sufficient potential reward to outweigh the risk.</p>



<p>However, out of thousands of penny stocks that trade either on a major exchange, or in the over-the-counter market, there are plenty that fit the bill. We can break these down into two categories.</p>



<p>First, there are names in &ldquo;penny stock territory,&rdquo; that trade at a low valuation, because of uncertainty over future results. Finding the situations where the market has discounted these types of stocks too much can prove profitable.</p>



<p>Second, there are shares in early-stage companies, that while not &ldquo;cheap&rdquo; based on metrics like price-to-earnings and price-to-book, can prove to be big time bargains in hindsight, as these upstarts scale up into profitable enterprises.</p>



<p>With this in mind, let&rsquo;s take a look at seven speculative penny stocks. Each one fits into either of these categories, and represents a great opportunity at current prices.</p>



<h2>Bitfarms (BITF)</h2>

<p>While oftentimes even more volatile than BTC itself, crypto mining stocks can be in some cases well worth the risk.</p>



<p>Now may be such a time. Given how this is a business with high operating leverage (i.e. high fixed costs, low variable costs), moderate incremental increases in the price of BTC could vastly improve the company&rsquo;s prospects, leading to outsized gains for BITF stock.</p>



<p>If BTC keeps surging following the upcoming halving event, and Bitfarms continues to <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4078002-bitfarms-to-buy-additional-miners-to-reach-21-ehs-in-2024">increase its hash rate</a> (Bitcoin mining capacity), Bitfarms could experience a dramatic swing in profitability. Forecasts already call for the company to report earnings of <a href="https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/BITF">50 cents per share next year</a>. Not too shabby, given how BITF changes hands for $2.24 per share .</p>



<h2>The Honest Company (HNST)</h2>

Dividend-Paying Penny Stocks"><div>Source: Shutterstock</div></div><p><strong>The Honest Company</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/hnst-stock-quote/"><strong>HNST</strong></a>) is one of the speculative penny stocks I&rsquo;ve been, and continue to be, bullish about. The status of this household products company as a takeover target for a strategic acquirer was what initially piqued my interest.</p>



<p>However, more recently, my bull case for HNST stock has <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/02/wall-street-favorites-7-penny-stocks-with-strong-buy-ratings-for-february-2024/">hinged more on the company&rsquo;s turnaround efforts</a>. As seen with recent developments/price action, this turnaround-based bull case has continued to play out. Earlier this month, shares rallied sharply, after the company&rsquo;s <a href="https://investors.honest.com/news-releases/news-release-details/honest-company-reports-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2023">latest quarterly earnings release</a>.</p>



<p>For Q4 and the full year 2023, The Honest Company reported a steady increase in revenue. More importantly, during Q4, Honest swung to profitability, indicating that its transformation efforts are starting to have a major impact on fiscal performance. Trading for around $4.15 per share , if this trend continues, HNST may not be a penny stock for long.</p>



<h2>Innovative Food Holdings (IVFH)</h2>

Penny Stocks with Potential"><div>Source: Shutterstock</div></div><p><strong>Innovative Food Holdings</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/ivfh-stock-quote/"><strong>IVFH</strong></a>) a purveyor of specialty food products, both as a wholesaler as well as directly to consumers. For many years, this OTC-listed penny stock languished because of poor operating results.</p>



<p>IVFH stock, however, has been on a tear since late 2022. During this time frame, shares have increased in value by nearly fivefold, from 20 cents to around $1 per share. Yet while this may suggest that it&rsquo;s too late to pounce on this under-the-radar opportunity, fortunately that may not be the case.</p>



<p>At least, that&rsquo;s the view of one online commentator specializing in undervalued penny stocks. Per the commentator, as Innovative <a href="https://treasurehunting.substack.com/p/my-current-best-idea-innovation-food">shuts down its unprofitable direct-to-consumer unit</a>, freeing capital tied up in warehouse real estate and inventory, IVFH will transform into an asset-light business trading at a relatively low valuation. </p>



<p>With this, a further re-rating may take shape, sending this rebounder to even higher prices.</p>



<h2>NovaGold Resources (NG)</h2>

Spot gold prices have rallied as well. &lsquo;</p>



<p>There are many speculative penny stocks to buy that will give you exposure to a possible continued gold bull market, but very speculative <strong>NovaGold Resources</strong> (NYSEAMERICAN:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/ng-stock-quote/"><strong>NG</strong></a>) is one name in particular to consider.</p>



<p>This gold miner has no revenue and its primary asset, a 50% interest in the Donlin Gold project in Alaska, is still years from commercialization. On the flip side, however, NG shares have barely budged despite the big gold run-up.</p>



<p>If the miner makes more progress moving toward the commercialization stage (forecasts call for <a href="https://www.novagold.com/_resources/presentations/20240320-SMI-Conference.pdf">annual gold production of 1 million ounces</a>), and if gold prices keep rising, NG (which just a few years back traded for above $10 per share) could experience a big price rebound.</p>



<h2>Payoneer Global (PAYO)</h2>

Through its platform, users can collect and remit payments globally. </p>



<p>In a world where remote work and decentralization is increasingly the norm, this leaves the company well-positioned to continue growing at a steady pace.</p>



<p>But even with this long-term tail wind on its side, PAYO stock trades at what can be considered a relatively low valuation (23.7 times forward earnings) for a fast-growing fintech firm. Or, as a Seeking Alpha commentator recently put it, PAYO is <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4675766-payoneer-global-priced-for-disaster">&ldquo;priced for disaster.&rdquo;</a></p>



<p>Admittedly, <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4073038-payoneer-stock-slides-as-year-guidance-falls-short-q4-results-beat">the release of underwhelming guidance</a> last month helps to explain why the market has discounted PAYO&rsquo;s valuation. </p>



<p>Still, with expectations now set low, a wave of positive surprises with regards to quarterly results may are ahead. Following PAYO&rsquo;s recent return to &ldquo;penny stock territory,&rdquo; you may want to take advantage, and grab a position.</p>



<h2>Talkspace (TALK)</h2>

Going public <a href="https://investors.talkspace.com/news-releases/news-release-details/talkspace-completes-merger-hudson-executive-investment-corp-and">via a special purpose acquisition merger in 2021</a>, shares in this virtual therapy company sank like a stone in the months following the de-SPACing.</p>



<p>Trading at $10 per share in June 2021, TALK stock was down to sub-$2 per share price by the end of that year. In the years since, shares have fallen to sub-$1 per share prices. Over the past year, however, Talkspace has been bouncing back with a vengeance.</p>



<p>During 2023, revenue surged by more than 25%. Revenue could grow by <a href="https://investors.talkspace.com/static-files/20996af9-469c-4e82-92a7-219e1c8dcc16">another 23%-30%</a> during 2024. Talkspace is also expected to report positive adjusted EBITDA this year. Even after surging from 426.4% over the past twelve months, further improvements to fiscal performance could send TALK back above $5 per share, and beyond.</p>



<h2>Vaso (VASO)</h2>

That is, this OTC-listed medical technology company announced back in December <a href="https://vasocorporation.com/blog/vaso-corporation-a-diversified-medical-technology-company-currently-trading-on-the-otcqx-market-to-list-on-nasdaq-via-spac-merger/">plans to enter a SPAC merger</a> with <strong>Achari Ventures Holdings Corp I</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/avhi-stock-quote/"><strong>AVHI</strong></a>). This deal is set to close sometime in the near future.</p>



<p>However, as I&rsquo;ve argued previously, there&rsquo;s still massive upside potential, even when AVHI stock becomes the &ldquo;new&rdquo; VASO stock, which will presumably debut near AVHI&rsquo;s original SPAC price ($10 per share). Why is there big upside potential? As I have argued previously, it all has to do with what makes this SPAC merger differ from typical deals.</p>



<p>Unlike most SPAC deals, which entail taking an unprofitable, privately held firm public, this deal is <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/02/7-undiscovered-penny-stocks-poised-for-meteoric-rises/">effectively serving as a reverse-split and up-listing</a> for a consistently-profitable business. Vaso  trades for only 4.4 times forward earnings, the market&rsquo;s re-rating post-deSPACing could be substantial. </p>

<p>To find the best undiscovered <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a>, first take a look at the over-the-counter (OTC) market. Why? Many of the best bargains among penny stocks, or stocks trading for $5 per share or less, can be found among equities that trade OTC.</p>



<p>Smaller and less liquid, institutional investors are less active in the OTC space. This can give individual investors the edge, as stock prices can often fail to fully take into account a stock&rsquo;s underlying value. Either from company-specific catalysts, or from a &ldquo;value is its own catalyst&rdquo; scenario playing out. This creates plenty of opportunity to find and make asymmetric wagers, or situations where upside potential vastly exceeds downside risk.</p>



<p>Having said this, even among penny stocks listed on major markets, you can find names that are both dirt-cheap and under-the-radar. Mainly, among listed penny stocks that are classified as microcap stocks. These are stocks with market capitalizations of $300 million or less.</p>



<p>A mix of OTC and major market-listed names, these are the top seven undiscovered penny stocks to consider buying right now.</p>



<h2>Acacia Research (ACTG)</h2>

Still, shares in this entity have yet to experience a breakout moment, in terms of market popularity and full price discovery. However, this may be changing.</p>



<p>Acacia Research is a holding company, controlled by investment firm <strong>Starboard Value</strong>. In prior coverage of ACTG stock, I&rsquo;ve talked about <a href="https://investorplace.com/2022/06/7-value-stocks-to-buy-priced-at-less-than-their-book-value/">Acacia&rsquo;s origins</a> as a net operating loss. And its efforts to monetize these tax loss carryforwards through the acquisition of undervalued companies. After several years of sideways price performance, ACTG has bolted higher so far in 2024. Mostly, due to the unveiling of promising news when Acacia reported its <a href="https://feeds.issuerdirect.com/news-release.html?newsid=4720784673251294">full-year 2023 results</a> back in March.</p>



<p>Realizing gains from a prior investment, and making a big bet on oil and gas, Acacia appears well-positioned to start hitting some big home runs. Best of all, even after a 25% move higher year-to-date, ACTG continues to trade at a discount to book value. As <em>InvestorPlace&rsquo;s</em> Yiannis Zourmpanos recently pointed out, Acacia has <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/06/3-undiscovered-stocks-set-to-double-your-money/">over $400 million</a> in cash on hand, more than enough to plow into its next big deal.</p>



<h2>Barfresh Food Group (BRFH)</h2>

But it&rsquo;s still a name one can arguably classify as one of the undiscovered penny stocks. In a nutshell, Barfresh Food Group makes and sells smoothie and juice products. These products are sold primarily to schools, where they are served as part of school lunches.</p>



<p>Due to poor fiscal performance, BRFH stock sank from prices nearing $8 per share in 2022, to as low as $1 per share earlier this year. However, since May, shares have been making an incredible comeback. First, Barfresh bolted higher upon the release of <a href="https://feeds.issuerdirect.com/news-release.html?newsid=5265729059692397">improved results</a> and promising corporate updates. Second, a stock market commentator has recently started to spread the word about BRFH&rsquo;s upside potential.</p>



<p>As Substack publisher D&amp;A Metropolitan put it in his bull case, the &ldquo;<a href="https://dametropolitan.substack.com/p/barfreshs-juice-is-worth-the-squeeze">juice is worth the squeeze</a>&rdquo; with Barfresh. Experiencing a resurgence in demand from schools, Barfresh could also soon make a move into other sales channels. Per the commentator, this company could be worth between $100 million and $500 million in a few years. Not too shabby, given that, even after the big run up, BRFH has a valuation of less than $50 million.</p>



<h2>Butler National (BUKS)</h2>

In the past, I&rsquo;ve talked about how this holding company trades at deep value prices. BUKS, with interests in aerospace and casino gaming, trades for only 8.5 times earnings. Meanwhile, both aerospace and <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/consumer-discretionary/travel/casino/">casino stocks</a> trade at far greater earnings multiples.</p>



<p>Earlier this year it seemed <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/02/7-undiscovered-penny-stocks-poised-for-meteoric-rises/">a spate of management changes in 2023</a> would kick BUKS stock into high gear. Admittedly, so far there has yet to be any &ldquo;big moves&rdquo; strategically, but there have been some signs of progress. Back in February, Butler added <a href="https://www.butlernational.com/butler-national-enhances-board-to-reinforce-commitment-to-long-term-shareholder-value/">two independent directors</a> to its board. One of these directors, Joseph P. Daly, is one of the company&rsquo;s largest outside shareholders, with a <a href="https://www.butlernational.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/buks20230815_def14a.pdf">9% stake</a>.</p>



<p>While not certain, Daly and the other independent directors could be working behind the scenes, to push for the best course of action to drive the next big boost for shares. Butler&rsquo;s aerospace unit could be a prime target for a strategic acquirer. The same can be said about the company&rsquo;s casino property as well.</p>



<h2>Elite Pharmaceuticals (ELTP)</h2>

Don&rsquo;t be discouraged by the appearance that microcap investors may have caught onto the opportunity with pharma firm. Elite has a catalyst in motion that could drive an even larger amount of market attention.</p>



<p>The ELTP stock catalyst I&rsquo;m talking about is the company&rsquo;s key pipeline candidate, a generic anti-rheumatic treatment. Earlier this month, I discussed how this candidate <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/06/7-strong-buy-penny-stocks-to-buy-now-june-2024/">recently received regulatory approval</a>. This paves the way for Elite to monetize this product. Sure, it&rsquo;s not as if this pharma firm has a blockbuster drug in the making with this candidate.</p>



<p>However, with a total addressable market of $64.3 million, capturing a good share of this market could mean further material improvements to Elite&rsquo;s sales and profitability. Over the past twelve months, revenue has totaled $47.3 million. Shares could rally on more progress with this catalyst, but that could be only the start. Now back in the high growth fast lane, it wouldn&rsquo;t be surprising if ELTP made additional moves to raise its profile, such as <a href="https://public.com/learn/uplistings-explained-examples-of-uplisted-stocks?wpsrc=Organic+Search&amp;wpsn=www.google.com">a stock market uplisting</a>.</p>



<h2>Fortitude Gold (FTCO)</h2>

The company operates mining properties in the U.S. state of Nevada. Fortitude has a track record of generating steady earnings from its established mining operations. Further, the company also pays out <a href="https://www.fortitudegold.com/news/fortitude-gold-declares-june-2024-monthly-dividend">a monthly 4 cent per share dividend</a> to investors.</p>



<p>If FTCO stock were to trade on a major exchange, dividend investors would be all over it. However, since Fortitude Gold shares trade in the OTC market, it has attracted far less attention. This works highly in the favor of those in the know, since at current prices FTCO&rsquo;s payout gives the stock a forward yield of 11.29%.</p>



<p>That&rsquo;s not all. As I have pointed out before, <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/01/best-monthly-dividend-stocks-for-2024/">there may be big upside potential</a> on the table as well with FTCO. While spot gold prices have pulled back slightly, they remain up by around 20.5% over the past year. Further macro and monetary policy changes could send gold even higher. As is the case with gold miners, high operating leverage suggests the potential for outsized improvements in profitability, on relatively smaller increases in the gold spot price.</p>



<h2>Lesaka Technologies (LSAK)</h2>

Its main focus is on the informal economy in its home market, as well in adjacent markets in Southern Africa.</p>



<p>There are two reasons why LSAK stock could go from being one of the undiscovered penny stocks, to garnering a far greater level of market attention. First, as seen in Lesaka&rsquo;s latest quarterly earnings release, <a href="https://ir.lesakatech.com/pdf/quarterly-results/2024/q3/lsak-q3-2024-earnings-press-release.pdf">operating results are steadily improving</a>. Recent bolt-on acquisitions could help the company make a full-on move to consistent profitability. Once the company&rsquo;s fundamentals appear stronger on a screener, this could result in greater investor inflows into shares.</p>



<p>Second, a more macro-related factor could mean more capital is cycled into LSAK shares. Following South Africa&rsquo;s 2024 General Election, a coalition-style Government of National Unity is being formed. While <a href="https://www.reuters.com/markets/south-african-rand-weakens-focus-cabinet-announcement-2024-06-24/">uncertainty still looms</a>, if the current coalition holds, this should assuage worries about South Africa implementing fiscal policies that are less favorable to business and foreign investment. This could drive further interest in South African stocks. In turn, leading to a greater degree of discovery of LSAK by stateside investors.</p>



<h2>Vaso (VASO)</h2>

Through its operating units, the company makes and sells medical equipment, as well as provides managed IT services to healthcare providers.</p>



<p>As an OTC-listed penny stock trading for well under $1 per share, VASO stock remains very much hidden from the radars of most investors. However, Vaso may not stay obscure forever. Why? While still pending, <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/vaso-corporation-a-diversified-medical-technology-company-currently-trading-on-the-otcqx-market-to-list-on-nasdaq-via-spac-merger-302009376.html">Vaso remains on track to be acquired</a> by <strong>Achari Ventures Holdings I</strong> (NASDAQ:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/avhi-stock-quote/"><strong>AVHI</strong></a></span>), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).</p>



<p>Once this deal is completed, AVHI will take on the Vaso name. In effect, this deal serves a a de-facto uplisting for the company. It also provides an opportunity to shake off Vaso&rsquo;s penny stock reputation. Add in the potential to take AVHI&rsquo;s war chest of cash, and put it to work via acquisitions, and its easy to see how this could prove to be a successful SPAC transaction. With Vaso trading for only 12.8 times earnings, even a modest amount of multiple expansion could lead to big gains after the de-SPACing.</p>
