What Happened: In an <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/video/2024/11/22/crypto-boom-drives-investment-opportunities-with-coinbase-and-robinhood-leading-the-charge.html">interview</a> with CNBC, Ryan emphasized that the evolving regulatory landscape and the increasing acceptance of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are key catalysts for this transformative growth.
"We have research out saying $220 billion of assets are coming into Bitcoin ETFs in the next three years," Ryan said. "If there is a strategic reserve, that could be hundreds of billions of dollars of assets into Bitcoin."
Ryan pointed out that trading volumes for companies like Coinbase Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/COIN#NASDAQ">COIN</a>) and Robinhood (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HOOD#NASDAQ">HOOD</a>) have surged since the U.S. presidential election. 
Coinbase volumes, for instance, have tripled, reflecting growing interest in the sector. 
"This activity unlocks a lot of innovation that's been held back," Ryan said, noting the potential for significant growth in payments, remittances, stablecoins, and Web3 applications.
Sarah Kunst, managing director at Cleo Capital, echoed Ryan's optimism, noting that institutional money has been waiting on the sidelines for regulatory clarity.

Kunst highlighted the new U.S. administration&#8217;s potentially more favorable stance toward mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A) as a driver for ecosystem growth. 
"I think there are people who have not yet gotten in the game who want to get in the game," she said. "This is really crypto's third act."
Kunst identified key players in the space, including crypto exchanges and infrastructure firms, as potential acquisition targets for larger financial institutions. 
"Names like FalconX, the crypto prime brokerage, and Gemini, the crypto marketplace, are likely to attract attention from big acquirers," she stated.
While Bitcoin CRYPTO: BTC) remains the centerpiece of institutional interest, Kunst sees a broadening investment focus. "Meme coins are dangerous—you can make a lot, but you can lose your shirt," she warned. 
Instead, she pointed to stablecoins and cryptocurrency ETFs as safer options, especially for institutions unable to hold crypto directly.
Ryan reinforced this outlook, emphasizing the importance of capital flows. 
"Follow the flows, and the flows are still coming—we're in the early days," he said. 
Beyond Bitcoin ETFs, Ryan expects tens of billions of dollars to flow into other crypto tokens as regulatory uncertainty diminishes, spurring innovation and further investment in the space.

Shaq's motivation comes from seeing his mom's sacrifices and ensuring she's always comfortable. "As long as my mother doesn't have to feel like she felt when we were young, that's my definition of being rich," he said.
Shaq's big heart doesn't stop with his mom. He shared a recent story about being at Walmart, where he spotted a mom with a tall son and three young daughters. The mom was picking out items for her kids and Shaq approached her, asking how much she planned to spend. After learning she was buying only what she could afford, he gave her $5,000 to get everything she needed for her family. Moments like these show what matters most to Shaq – using his money to make life better for others.
Shaq also wants his kids to learn these values. He wants them to understand that just because he has a lot of money doesn't mean they can rely on it without effort. For this reason, he has made it clear that his children must earn a share of his money by becoming good students, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/personal-finance/24/11/41869301/shaqs-got-a-500-million-fortune-but-his-kids-arent-getting-a-dime-without-earning-it-you-need-3-degrees-to-touch-daddys-cheese">getting multiple diplomas</a> and demonstrating their ability to work hard on their own.

Berkshire <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/24/11/41993666/warren-buffetts-berkshire-hathaway-slashes-apple-bofa-holdings-adds-dominos-pizza-in-q3">slashed its largest position</a> in Apple Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/AAPL#NASDAQ">AAPL</a>) by over two-thirds since 2023. Buffett also sold much of his position in Bank of America Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BAC#NYSE">BAC</a>) since the summer. He also trimmed back nearly all of his position in Ulta Beauty Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ULTA#NASDAQ">ULTA</a>), an atypically short holding period for the investor who preaches investing for the long term.
The Omaha, Nebraska-based company&#8217;s cash horde now stands at an astounding $325 billion.

Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HALO#NASDAQ">HALO</a>) saw its shares rise on Friday after the company announced it was withdrawing its proposal to acquire Evotec SE (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/EVO#NASDAQ">EVO</a>) for 11 euro ($11.44) per share in cash, implying a fully <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/n42137175/halozyme-withdraws-proposal-to-acquire-evotec-following-evotecs-unwillingness-to-engage-in-discuss" rel="noreferrer noopener">diluted equity value of 2.0 billion euro.</a>
This move comes after prolonged efforts to engage with Evotec, which expressed its desire to remain independent, Halozyme said.
In addition to this, Halozyme reaffirmed its strong business outlook, with its 2024 guidance signaling continued growth.
The company expects revenue between $970 million and $1.02 billion ($1.003 billion) and an adjusted EBITDA range of $595 million to $625 million, reflecting significant double-digit growth.
Halozyme is confident in its ability to execute its strategy, with the goal of achieving ten approved products with ENHANZE by 2025 and $1 billion in royalty revenue by 2027.

Helen Torley, CEO of Halozyme, explained that although the merger would have created a leading global pharma services company, Evotec was not open to further discussions.
Halozyme&#8217;s efforts to engage with Evotec&#8217;s leadership, including multiple requests for meetings, were unsuccessful, leading to the decision to withdraw the offer.
&#8220;A company spokesperson has publicly commented that its goal is to remain an independent company,&#8221; said Helen Torley,&nbsp;president and chief executive officer of Halozyme regarding Evotec, adding that &#8220;our multiple requests to meet were not accepted&#8221;.
&#8220;Evotec has taken notice of the statement made by Halozyme Therapeutics Inc. on 22 November, stating that it has withdrawn its non-binding proposal to acquire Evotec for EUR11.00 per share in cash,&#8221; Evotec <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/ac42141986/comment-on-withdrawn-non-binding-offer" rel="noreferrer noopener">said in a response.</a>
Price Action: HALO shares are trading higher by 6.21% to $48.54 at last check Friday, while EVO shares are down 18.8% to $4.345.
