What Happened: TD Cowen disclosed on Friday that Microsoft has nullified leases equivalent to &#8220;a couple of hundred megawatts&#8221; of capacity, <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-02-24/microsoft-cancels-leases-for-ai-data-centers-analyst-says">Bloomberg</a> reported on Monday. EV giant Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) will refresh its more premium car offerings- the Model S and Model X- later this year, senior company executive Lars Moravy said in an interview published on Sunday.
What Happened:&nbsp;Moravy, in an interview with&nbsp;Ryan McCaffrey&nbsp;recorded on Feb.13 and published on Sunday,&nbsp;said that the company intends to show its Model S and X vehicles &#8220;some love&#8221; and refresh them later this year.
Tesla last refreshed the Model S and X in 2021. 
In the past two years, the company has focussed on refreshing its cheaper, mass-market offerings. 
Tesla launched a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/02/36921718/youtuber-marques-brownlee-reviews-refreshed-model-3-calls-it-teslas-most-important-car-i-am-impresse" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">refreshed Model 3 in Aug. 2023&nbsp;</a>in China and in the U.S. months later in January 2024. In January this year, the company also launched a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/25/02/43772576/tesla-to-start-delivering-shanghai-made-refreshed-model-ys-next-week">refreshed version of its best-selling Model Y SUV. </a>
Moravy said that the company focussed on refreshing the Model 3 and Y first as they are higher volume vehicles and refreshing them was needed for the company to stay competitive. However, the S and X are not going anywhere anytime soon, Moravy said.
&#8220;As Elon says, we definitely there&#8217;s some nostalgia to them and like keeping them around and like we don&#8217;t have any immediate plans to change that,&#8221; he said.
Why It Matters: The refreshes come amid concerns about an aging car lineup. Tesla&#8217;s latest offering is its Cybertruck which it started delivering in Nov. 2023. The vehicle, however, is a truck and caters to a different customer demographic. 
The latest car from Tesla is the Model Y SUV, whose production the company started in January 2020. 
The Model X, however, is Tesla&#8217;s <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/24/12/42496103/teslas-model-s-model-x-and-cybertruck-now-have-the-same-starting-price-which-to-buy">priciest offering in the U.S</a>. The base version of the Model X starts at $84,990, pricier than even the Cybertruck or Model S whose base versions start at $79,990.
