During an interview with Gimme Shelter magazine, listing broker Aura Aragon of PMG Residential said, "It's a very beautiful, unique building and it is changing the city's skyline." Beginning in 2025, the company will provide more than 1 million megawatt hours of electricity annually, with a portion of the energy generated from plant capacity enhancements, referred to as &#8220;uprates,&#8221; funded by Constellation.
Constellation will supply energy to multiple federal agencies, including the GSA, Social Security Administration, and Department of Veterans Affairs, across Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Apart from this, the company also secured a $172 million contract to enhance energy efficiency at five GSA-owned facilities in the National Capital Region through LED lighting, HVAC upgrades, and transitioning four Washington, DC, buildings from steam to electric heating.
Construction begins this month, lasting 42 months, with Constellation providing maintenance and training to ensure long-term energy efficiency and cost savings.
Joe Dominguez, Constellation President and CEO said &#8220;Under this agreement, the United States government joins Microsoft and other entities to support continued investment in reliable nuclear energy that will allow Constellation to relicense and extend the lives of these critical assets.&#8221;
&#8221;In combination with the Crane restart announced previously, Constellation and its partners will add approximately 1,100 MWs of 24/7 clean energy by 2028, enough energy to power over one million homes.&#8221;

The Details: The current agreement was reached after a three-day port strike in October affected ports on the Gulf and East Coasts. The dockworkers had sought a 77% pay increase over the next six years and workplace protections for automation of port practices.&nbsp;
The tentative deal that was reached increased pay by 62%, but did not address the union's concerns about automation.&nbsp;

A <a href="https://www.usmx.com/assets/content/public-resources/12-20-2024_Statement_from_USMX.pdf">message</a> from the United States Marine Alliance dated Dec. 20 addressed the use of technology and automation in ports.&nbsp;
"​​Evolving port operations and increasing wages and jobs for the ILA are not mutually exclusive. Modern technology is proven to dramatically increase the amount of cargo that can be moved through a port annually. ILA members make more money when they move more cargo and ports need to hire more workers to manage that growth," the message stated.&nbsp;
Harold Daggett, president of the International Longshoreman's Association, hinted at a potential strike in a Christmas Day <a href="https://ilaunion.org/harold-j-daggett-international-president-international-longshoremens-association-2024-christmas-message-to-ila-members-and-their-families/">message to</a> union members.&nbsp;
"Our resolve may be tested again in mid-January as we face another deadline for negotiating a new Master Contract by January 15, 2025. We want to avoid another strike, and hope that our employers represented by United States Maritime Alliance will respect our demands for a fair and decent contract," Daggett wrote.&nbsp;

Zim said the charge is intended to help mitigate "additional costs and expenses to ZIM caused by a strike, work stoppage, work slowdown or other labor-related disruptions to operations" and will not apply if a strike is averted.&nbsp;

Fuller Company (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FUL#NYSE">FUL</a>) disclosed its unaudited preliminary financial results for fiscal year 2024, highlighting weaker-than-expected <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/01/b42763305/h-b-fuller-announces-preliminary-fiscal-year-2024-results" rel="noreferrer noopener">conditions in the fourth quarter.</a>
The company now projects fiscal year 2024 net revenue to reach approximately $3.57 billion versus $3.576 billion estimate (prior view: ~$3.581 billion), with adjusted earnings per share of $3.84 versus the analyst consensus estimate of $4.16 (<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com//node/41034261" rel="noreferrer noopener">prior view: $4.10 to $4.20</a>).
The company currently expects Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $594 million, representing a revision from previous guidance, which had forecasted adjusted EBITDA in the range of $610 million to $620 million.
The fourth-quarter performance was negatively impacted by delayed customer orders and weaker-than-expected demand in key sectors, including consumer product goods, packaging, and durable goods distribution.

Celeste Mastin, President and CEO, acknowledged the market slowdown and emphasized the company's response, including new pricing actions, cost controls, and ongoing restructuring initiatives to streamline manufacturing and reduce operating costs.
H. B. Fuller also expects operating cash flow to be approximately $300 million for fiscal 2024, down from the prior outlook of $325 million&nbsp;&#8211; $350 million.
The company will release its full financial results on January 15, 2025, followed by an investor conference call on <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings" rel="noreferrer noopener">January 16, 2025, to discuss the results.</a>

Perhaps the most striking aspect of Moglia's interview was his admission that he's "the most bullish on the market that he's been in 10 years," which should encourage investors. When the hosts asked him why he felt this way, Moglia quickly said, "The president, we've got someone in there who is pro-business, pro-markets." He also noted how President-Elect Trump has warmed up to Cryptocurrency, a change from several years ago.
The host noted that Moglia manages his portfolio and that more than half of it in "growth stuff, including Crypto,<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/12/42696614/cathie-wood-takes-profit-on-hot-ai-stock-palantir-again-continues-to-sell-block-shares-amid-bitcoin-buzz"> Cathie Wood</a> kind of stuff, tech stocks" before asking him, "How does that align with the retail trader?" He also suggested several potential starting points for retail traders when he said, "The<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/24/11/41756882/magnificent-7-basket-notches-over-200-gain-since-bidens-election-how-did-tech-giants-perform-und"> Magnificent Seven</a> is a good place to be" and suggested tracking Cathie Wood's trades in this sector. Moglia also detailed how he, much like the President-Elect, has evolved his views on cryptocurrency and is now very much in favor of it being part of retail investor portfolios.
He expanded that by saying, "You've got the crypto play, which I think five years ago or two years ago, that may have been overly aggressive, but I think you have to be involved now." Although Moglia's ideal portfolio holdings have changed from 10 years ago, he remains a proponent of the "barbell method," where the portfolio is equally balanced on each side with risk and growth, with long-term holdings in between for balance.&nbsp;

Moglia also explained how that barbell may be differently weighted and affected by factors such as the investor's age, goals and risk tolerance. The hosts asked him to compare today's retail investor with the retail investor of 10 years ago. Moglia responded that today's investors have better financial literacy and access to more information than they did 10 years ago. He also believes today's investors are more aggressive.
Moglia made another salient point when he stressed that losing money in a bull market is still possible. Although Moglia believes in the Magnificent Seven and cryptocurrency, he stressed the importance of retail investors planning their investment strategy and staying on top of their portfolios. Moglia quipped, "Lots of families spend more time planning vacations than they do their investment portfolios."&nbsp;
