Over six decades ago, a chance encounter at a German party sparked a romance between Army serviceman Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu. Their love story culminated in a 1967 wedding at the Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Following their nuptials, the couple embarked on a honeymoon at a Palm Springs, California, hideaway, now listed for sale at nearly $9.3 million, according to Robb Report, citing The Wall Street Journal.
Designed in 1960 by renowned modernist architect William Krisel, the Alexander Residence was originally commissioned by prominent developer Bob Alexander as his residence. The home, reminiscent of a retro spaceship, embodies a distinct 1960s vision of the future.

Purchased in late 2022 by entrepreneur Nancy Cirillo for about $5.7 million, the residence underwent a contemporary renovation by Cirillo, her husband Cary Collins and designer Michelle Boudreau.
Nestled in the historic Vista Las Palmas neighborhood, the unique residence sits on a half-acre cul-de-sac lot at the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains. The 4,700-square-foot split-level home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms, showcasing a striking blend of glass, stone and a distinctive butterfly roof.
The home's design centers around four interconnected circular pods, unified by elegant terrazzo floors and exposed brick walls. A sunken living room, a highlight of the house, features a custom-built sofa, fireplace and glass sliders that open onto a serene terrace.

The spacious primary suite upstairs has a luxurious bathroom with walk-in closets, a circular soaking tub and access to a private balcony.
The outdoor oasis features palm trees, a fireside sitting area, a pool and a separate spa. The property also includes an attached two-car carport.

The midcentury modern residence, leased by Presley in 1966, holds a special place in music history. Following their Las Vegas wedding, the King of Rock and Roll and his new bride jetted back to Palm Springs on Frank Sinatra's Learjet to begin their married life in the unique property.
Current owners Cirillo and Collins are selling the home to relocate to their former neighborhood in the Coachella Valley. They seek to be closer to family and professional pursuits. Cirillo is the former owner of a women's activewear line and Collins is a tennis pro.
"It was so fun to enjoy that phase of our relationship in that home," Cirillo told The Wall Street Journal. "It was kind of like our honeymoon house. Now, it's back to real life."
