Celebrity Fitness Guru Tracy Anderson Has Two Homes for Sale Shortly After Employee Legal Battle Settlement

Tracy Anderson, fitness guru to the stars, is saying goodbye to two homes, according to public records. Anderson is known for creating the Tracy Anderson Method, which focuses on dance-based, low-weight, high-rep exercises. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham and more celebrities have trusted Anderson's method. The 50-year-old entrepreneur and author has listed her New Hope, Pennsylvania and Los Angeles properties for sale.

The first home is in a charming suburban town on the East Coast. Along with her husband, Chris Asplundh, she purchased the 6,330-square-foot New Hope property in 2020 for $2.35 million. It boasts six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Although they were only there for a short time, the couple did a lot of work.

Don't Miss:

"Every aspect of the property has been renewed or improved in the last three years, including stunning new floors and unique light fixtures throughout the main house, a detached garage with luxe guest house, extensive landscaping, infinity pool and even a pickleball court," the listing says.

But what makes the property extra special for Anderson and Asplundh is that it's where they tied in the knot in August 2021 — in the garden on a Tuesday after work, to be specific. It was listed for sale in August for $6.4 million and has yet to find a buyer.

Anderson's second home for sale is a newer listing, having just hit the market last month. Nestled in the Brentwood neighborhood, the four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is available for just under $10.3 million. If Anderson gets that number, she'll make a pretty penny. According to Realtor.com, Anderson and Asplundh bought it through an LLC in March 2023 for about $7.36 million.

Trending: BlackRock is calling 2025 the year of alternative assets. One firm from NYC has quietly built a group of 60,000+ investors who have all joined in on an alt asset class previously exclusive to billionaires like Bezos and Gates.

Their Los Angeles home was also recently renovated, featuring a heated pool and spa. Anderson's wellness touch radiates through the space, as the primary bathroom has a custom Nordica Sauna with salt therapy.

The home listings come at an interesting time, as Anderson was recently dealing with a legal issue. In 2022, Anderson filed a lawsuit against Megan Roup, who worked for Tracy Anderson Mind and Body, LLC before going on to create The Sculpt Society. Roup has her own celebrity clientele, including Miranda Kerr. The lawsuit claimed breach of contract, copyright infringement, false advertising and other claims. Basically, Anderson accused Roup of using confidential information and things she learned at her company to build her own.

According to Page Six, the breach of contract claims reached a confidential settlement in October. Before that, the court had dismissed the copyright infringement claims, and the judge dismissed the false advertising claims and ordered Anderson to pay Roup's legal fees, which climbed to about $164,000.
