Christina Ricci Is Selling Her $4.175 Million Home She Bought Last Year to House a Family Member Who Lost Theirs in Los Angeles Wildfires

Christina Ricci purchased her home in Los Angeles last July, but less than a year later, it's back on the market — for a heartwarming reason. The "Yellowjackets" and "The Addams Family" actress is helping a family member in the wake of the Palisades fires that began burning through Los Angeles County on Jan. 7.

"She's purchasing a new home to accommodate the family member that lost their home," Lorraine Getz of Compass, who is overseeing the sale, told the New York Post about the new listing. "I think she would have liked more time, but the family member moved in with her," Getz continued. "And I think it was just that a family member really needed a dedicated bedroom."

Don't Miss:

Ricci has a 10-year-old son who she shares with ex-husband James Heerdegen and a 3-year-old daughter she shares with husband Mark Hampton. Since their home only has three bedrooms, it makes sense that they'd need another for the family member.

Ricci, who recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, purchased the Silver Lake property last year for $4 million. It's now being listed for $4.175 million.

Located on a cul-de-sac and above the Silver Lake Reservoir, the home features three bedrooms and four bathrooms. It boasts a chef's kitchen with a sub-zero fridge, a built-in coffee machine and custom cabinetry. Head upstairs to the primary suite, which has a fireplace, custom walk-in closet and spa-like bathroom. It has a full glass wall so you can enjoy the city views.

You'll want to hang outdoors, too, as it has a heated pool, spa and plenty of dining and lounge areas on multiple levels, including a rooftop deck. "Generally, in Los Angeles, you either get views or walkability. Not all. This home has both," Getz said. "It's a really special home. It's really beautiful."

The 3,400-square-foot property was built in 2018, though Ricci wasn't the first person to live there, according to public records.

Ricci's home is close to one of the hidden Silver Lake staircases, but that's just the beginning of its local appeal. "It's perched high on a cul-de-sac for ultimate privacy, yet just at the end of the street, a hidden staircase connects you to Silverlake's best spots — amazing dining, coffee and boutiques, all just moments away," Getz told People.

The property has only been on the market for a few days, so we'll see how quickly someone snags this home.
