Over two years after her passing, Raquel Welch's Los Angeles home is officially off the market. Nestled in the Bel-Air neighborhood, part of the Beverly Glen Circle enclave, the gated property recently sold for $3.1 million, though it was listed for nearly $3.7 million.
Welch, who was often labeled as a sex symbol, was an American actress known for her roles in "Fantastic Voyage," "One Million Years B.C." and "The Three Musketeers." In her later years, she made appearances on "Seinfeld," "Legally Blonde" and "8 Simple Rules," among others.

According to public records, Welch bought the Bel-Air home in 2009 for $2.8 million. The four-story space greets you with classic columns in the interior for a Grecian feel. With 5,118 square feet of living space, the property features five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The primary suite is a real gem, as it boasts a fireplace and French doors that open to a covered terrace with enough space to fit chairs and a small table. This home features an in-ground pool, in-ground spa and attached garage. With plenty of greenery around, the exterior is just as beautiful and provides privacy.
The property was exclusively listed by Douglas Elliman, a luxury real estate company, and managed by licensed real estate salespeople, Ernie Carswell and Lloyd Ross.

"Raquel changed the home in a way that was so her," Carswell told Mansion Global. "She added the columns to the entryway on these white stone floors. To me, it was reminiscent of a Greek villa.

The home was built in 1998 and sold in 2001 for $1.8 million, according to public records. Then, Welch bought it and lived there until she passed away in February 2023. It was originally listed in April 2024 for $3.95 million, and with no luck, $200,000 was shaved off the price two months later. Two months after that, the listing was removed only to be back on the market six weeks later in November for $3.7 million. It finally sold this month for $3.1 million.
The home sits across from The Glen Centre, a shopping mall with restaurants, shops and services. It includes Starbucks, Bluemercury, a sushi restaurant, a beauty salon and many other spots. The Douglas Elliman listing says this "destination brings so much enjoyable value to this home and location."
"[Raquel] really needed in her last home — which this was — she needed a place of privacy and security," said Carswell. "This home was certainly that for her."
